ARMIN VAN BUUREN IN CONCERT:

EDM fans have spoken, and veteran Dutch DJ Armin Van Buuren is their king. As one of the most popular trance DJs in the world, Van Buuren has topped DJ Magazine's fan poll a record five times, virtually dominating dance music with his unprecedented run at the top of the list from 2007-2010. Following the 2013 release of his fifth album Intense, Van Buuren is once again entrancing fans around the world with his prismatic live shows on the 2014 Armen Only: Intense tour.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Born in Leiden, Netherlands, Armin Van Buuren began DJing while at university, eventually putting his law degree on hold to pursue music full time. He made his first UK chart appearance at just 19 with "Blue Fear," climbing the charts again several years later with "Communication." By 2001, Van Buuren's marathon sets had earned him a spot on DJ Magazine's Top-100 list, setting the stage for the launch of his hugely popular State of Trance radio show. While his skills as a producer were highlighted on his 2003 full-length debut 76, it was 2008's Imagine that really broke the mold — the album peaked at No. 1 in the Netherlands, a first for a dance music artist in Dutch music history.

  • Waited so long for this!

    Checking in was easy with the mobile tickets. Would have been very helpful to know that I didnt need to bring a clear backpack for my things. That it would have been okay to have a phanny pack like I normally take to a festival. I did not appreciate having to walk all the way around just to get back into VIP. I was however very impressed that there was staff to bring water and beer into the VIP area to sell. Wish they would do that at other venues. There was a short lived incident towards the end of the night that I thought security could have handled quicker so that it wouldn't have continued to be a disturbance. But over all, Thank you to everyone there (security, staff) that were very professional and helpful.

    The concert was great, but I was really upset about not being able to buy a ticket to the dance floor or update mine for it. The field was half empty, yet the tickets all sold out. Very disappointing. What's the point of sitting down at an EDM concert? Palladium was waaaayyyyyy better.

    Things could've been better, like why can't the stadium just let us through for field level if we get field level, also like why did it have to end early and the entrance sucks, like i took a small clutch and they wouldn't let me in with that.

    From beginning to end, the trance music had me dancing my happy feet away. ASOT is worth experiencing even just once. Armin and Ruben deRonde chose the perfect venue for such beautiful event as well.

    Loved the format, venue and all the acts but thought the sets to be too short with the event ending way too early! 11 PM on a Saturday night in LA?

    Show was okay. Music volume was low and he only played for a bit. Not too impressed. Had floor tickets which had no real perks and you had to walk all around the stadium to come back into the floor.

    Really like the production. The confetti, the streamers, the lasers and the sound! This stage was louder than Beyond Wonderland 2022. Security was pretty friendly. No issues with them. But alcohol content was not my favorite. 805’s, truely’s and water. Bathrooms were easy to get into as a girl so that was great too!

    ASOT was incredible! The music selections were great. The talent brought it hard! No complaints there. Banc of California stadium needs to improve access to bars and restrooms especially from field access. Have you ever walked through a field full of people from one end to the other and then up a bunch of stairs when you gotta pee? Can’t believe there wasn’t more access throughout the floor level up to the bowl level where vendors and restrooms were. 5 stars for A state of trance 1 star for Banc or California stadium.

    One of Security guys was very aggressive without reason towards me. Very unprofessional. I am brused and felling pain. I spoke to my lawyer and we plan to press charges against Carlos.

    Armin never fails to pull of a great show! I am a big fan of him and drove all the way from detroit to attend this!! I loved the VIP option I got to see him closer and enjoy the show. Just EPIC The only thing i hated is how the staff of the venue were ..absolutely rude ..took my party glasses because they were seen as safety hazard !! Like What they were safety glasses with lights on and so many people wearing weird stuff .. i’ve been to one of his shows in Columbus and the organization was much better
