ARMIN VAN BUUREN IN CONCERT:
EDM fans have spoken, and veteran Dutch DJ Armin Van Buuren is their king. As one of the most popular trance DJs in the world, Van Buuren has topped DJ Magazine's fan poll a record five times, virtually dominating dance music with his unprecedented run at the top of the list from 2007-2010. Following the 2013 release of his fifth album Intense, Van Buuren is once again entrancing fans around the world with his prismatic live shows on the 2014 Armen Only: Intense tour.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Born in Leiden, Netherlands, Armin Van Buuren began DJing while at university, eventually putting his law degree on hold to pursue music full time. He made his first UK chart appearance at just 19 with "Blue Fear," climbing the charts again several years later with "Communication." By 2001, Van Buuren's marathon sets had earned him a spot on DJ Magazine's Top-100 list, setting the stage for the launch of his hugely popular State of Trance radio show. While his skills as a producer were highlighted on his 2003 full-length debut 76, it was 2008's Imagine that really broke the mold — the album peaked at No. 1 in the Netherlands, a first for a dance music artist in Dutch music history.

At first I was worried about the venue location of Madison Square Gardens but shortly after getting there, those worries went away. The even in all was phenomenal and I would do it all again if given the chance. I flew in from Salt Lake City, UT just for this event.
This was an unforgettable event. the venue was amazing, the lightshows blew me away and the music was heavenly..TAKE ME BACK
LOVED LOVED THE WHOLE NIGHT..w&w blew out the speakers and eventually got it fixed but it was so memorable! ASOT 600!

The music was pretty good. The lighting effects were just ok nothing like what one would expect. No performances of any sort. The venue was a poor choice, but what was really upsetting is that you had to be stuck to your assigned seat and sections were so overcrowded that it was hard to stand up straight never mind trying to dance. Besides the fact that you couldn't be with your friends if they had tickets in other sections, what type of trance festival is set up in a way that won't let you dance ?! Overall pretty poor organization and I'm only giving it 3 stars because of the djs that were there.
Fantastic show!! Bring Armin only! Only downside was that there wasn't any vendors selling shirts etc....very disappointed about that..
Not every night out is one like this. Unparalleled talent in rapid succession and visually stunning. Top it off with amazing friends and you may just have had one of the best nights of your life. I know I did!
This is the worst concert i've ever been to ., it started at 8 and the dj that i went to see played at the end(12 midnight ) .,. After 4 hours of sitting i got bored and walked out . He really don't need a bunch of dj's to play 1 hour each ., i am never going to see Armon Again . So sad that i wasted 140 dollars . The sound and the rhythm were all the same .
ASoT is always something that I look forward to! DJs always play awesome music!
Biggest NYC party ever. All the djs before Armin were very good until the world best DJ took over the stage to finish the show. I had a great time. Amazing sound lightning was excellent fantastic crowd. I enjoyed the show. Hope to see Armin again in the near future.

Absolutely amazing Armin van Buuren is by far the best DJ in the world. Does not disappoint the energy level could not get any higher by the time he walked off stage. The Two acts before him (W&W and New World Punx(Markus Schultz and Ferry Corsten)) were both crazy. They did not let anyone stop moving from the second they hit the booth.
Event was quite nice, because ASOT is always nice. Where it took place was awfull. How are we suppose to enjoy an event like that if we are stuck on the back seats without having a way to dance in front of the DJ's? And by "way" i mean "price" ! You gotta do something about this. The pit can't be the highest price seats on any concert whatsoever. I left the event with my friends 2 hours after the beginning of the event. In a matter of fact, ASOT 600 afterparty at Best Buy Theater was WAY better. We could actually dance OR sit, for 25$. Also, i'm 28, reaching 29 years old in june, and i couldnt get a drop of beer at madison square garden (to wash out my disappointment...). I had my national identity card, which is, i remember you, a VALID and OFFICIAL card. Meaning that if there is written i'm 28 on that card, that means i'm REALLY 28, so i can drink alcohol. A passport is way to important to be carried in a concert or anywhere in a city we don't know, that's why I don't want to bring it where i can lose it (because yes, a passport is expensive!) Of course, ask american people that were at this event how they felt during the event (that's what i did at the afterparty), they will tell you that was awesomme. I asked the same to the europeans i met on the plane back home, they all said to me that they felt like me : no room to dance, Pit was to exepnsive. That's the last time I pay for that kind of event in america. Costed me way to much (including plane tickets) for not enough enjoyment.
new world punkz and w&w was so epic. overhyped armin, because of past experiences, but still good.
ASOT 600 NYC was yet another unforgettable memory which will be on replay in my mind untill i see armin may 23rd in houston...it was definitely a very unique experience in its own way thats what i love about seeing shows with Armin because the line up is always sick and they seem to never let you down...thank you ASOT 600 for making another unforgettable memory!
Good event, hopefully when problems with the sound systems occur, they can be fixed faster than before.
When i had bought the ticket i specifically had purchased the most expensive ticket. I was under the impression that i would be in general addmission which allowed me access to the floor. When i arrived to the event i was given a ticket that had me in the seats. If i knew i would be in the seats i wouldnt have gone to the event. It made my time unejoyable and was seperated from my friends the entire time. I never had to sit through a concert alone Nd ive been a solid customer for a while now. I was completely unsatisfied. I hope you can maybe make my next purchase alittle more worth my while. Again being seperated from the people you planned on going with really doesnt make one of the greatest events so great. If Armin didnt put on an amazing performance i would have left the event.
