A poor place for awesome DJ's
by NickFRA on 4/1/13Madison Square Garden - New YorkRating: 1 out of 5Event was quite nice, because ASOT is always nice. Where it took place was awfull. How are we suppose to enjoy an event like that if we are stuck on the back seats without having a way to dance in front of the DJ's? And by "way" i mean "price" !
You gotta do something about this. The pit can't be the highest price seats on any concert whatsoever.
I left the event with my friends 2 hours after the beginning of the event. In a matter of fact, ASOT 600 afterparty at Best Buy Theater was WAY better. We could actually dance OR sit, for 25$. Also, i'm 28, reaching 29 years old in june, and i couldnt get a drop of beer at madison square garden (to wash out my disappointment...). I had my national identity card, which is, i remember you, a VALID and OFFICIAL card. Meaning that if there is written i'm 28 on that card, that means i'm REALLY 28, so i can drink alcohol. A passport is way to important to be carried in a concert or anywhere in a city we don't know, that's why I don't want to bring it where i can lose it (because yes, a passport is expensive!)
Of course, ask american people that were at this event how they felt during the event (that's what i did at the afterparty), they will tell you that was awesomme. I asked the same to the europeans i met on the plane back home, they all said to me that they felt like me : no room to dance, Pit was to exepnsive.
That's the last time I pay for that kind of event in america. Costed me way to much (including plane tickets) for not enough enjoyment.
