Anything Goes (Chicago) Tickets

I loved the play "Anything Goes". My mom raised me on musicals from the 30-40's. Her and her sister used to take the train to New York twice a year to see musicals. Thank goodness for Broadway in Chicago. I got to hear Cole Porter's songs. The cast was wonderful. The singing and dancing were great. The costumes were yummy. The orchestra was great. And it had a lot of humor. My daughter went with me and kept begging me to laugh quieter. Sorry daughter mine, but I do enjoy good jokes. Had a wonderful time. I'd recommend this play to all my friends.

What a wonderful experience! Anything Goes is a fun event that put a smile on my face for the entire evening. I thought my face would crack from smiling. My husband, whom I dragged with me and doesn't particularly like musicals, even enjoyed this experience. I've never been to a play before where the audience actively participated by exhibiting their enjoyment. Call outs - laughs - whistles, stand up ovations for several of the musical numbers and throwing up of the arms during production numbers. Rachel York has a beautiful voice and she acted as if she really enjoyed playing her part in this revival. I recommend this play for everyone to see.

Really. It was exceptional. Rachel York and cast are amazing! We'll be seeing it again.

The play was entertaining, but not in my list of 'gotta go see' plays.

Cole Poerter's music will live forever, especially presented as you did in, "Anything Goes". It's worth seeing again, and I will. As good or better than Broadway! By the way, the Brass section did the arrangements proud. Thank you.

Rachel York as Reno Sweeney was amazing! The entire show was excellent, lighthearted and funny.

I loved this show. I fell in love with it when I saw it showcased at the Tony's in 2011. It was amazing! Rachel York as Reno Sweeney was brilliant. This musical was entertaining. Tons of great songs and dancing. The tap dancing by far was great. My family and I really enjoyed ourselves. It was great entertainment. I am glad I was able to see it in its limited run in Chicago.

Everything about this production was first class -- cast, costumes, lighting, scenery, singing, dancing, choreography -- everything. BUT people under about 35 don't seem to know this show. The run was way too short for word of mouth to build.

Anything Goes was most enjoyable and lots of fun. The audience reacted favorably and and joined in with the singing at times. They also were clapping in time with the music. I recommend this play highly. It is pure entertainment.

"Anything Goes" was a very fun night out at the theater. The book is truly silly, but there's so much to love about this show. Great songs, great dancing and Rachel York is a perfect Reno Sweeney.

What an outstanding revival performance. Fantastic cast, and a funny, upbeat musical. I was not optimistic, but the show was completely entertaining from start to finish. Well Done!!!!!

The music and the story line may be from the 1930s, but the enjoyment of it is timeless. The cast was superb and the production tip top.

Fantasic... highly amusing and light-hearted. Rounds of applause between every number and a standing ovation. The singing was perfect and the tap dancing was amazing to watch! A definite must-see. A delight in every way.

Amazing cast! Was blown away by the quality and I fell in love with the score. The leads were phenomenal and the whole cast was just a treat. I adored every minute of it.
