Truly the best show ever.

Annie DiRusso is a Nashville/NYC-based indie-rock artist who wears the influence of her two cities on her sleeve, seamlessly blending garagy guitars and high energy performances with a pop-informed Nashville flair. She has received high praise from online press for her ability to build “connection between thought and word and note much like the mumbled sanctity of a Nick Drake” (ChillFiltr). The magic she creates in her hooks and melody’s apparent in the 5 singles she has released, quickly turn casual listeners into fans; “She could verifiably take over the world one day and you better believe I’ll be in the front row when she does” (Sleeping Bag Studios).

I've been to the recordBar many times for many different kinds of shows and this by far was probably my favorite of them all. Sound was amazing and the crowd's energy was SOO fun. Annie put on an incredible show and it was so incredible to hear about each song and scream along to them all with everyone. Highly recommend catching Annie if you have the chance and HIGHLY commend the recordBar for bringing some of the most incredible artists to our city. Tours often miss the KC area on their stops, but they are definitely missing out on an incredible time every time.
