About

Andrew McMahon, of Something Corporate and Jack’s Mannequin fame, has reinvented himself as Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness and has seen the biggest success of his 16 year career with hit single, “Cecilia and the Satellite.” His latest album Zombies On Broadway is a follow up to the eponymous album that produced the smash single, “Cecilia and the Satellite,” which became a Top 5 hit across both Alternative and AAA radio, Top 10 hit at Hot AC and which also climbed up the Pop chart. “Cecilia and the Satellite” found great commercial success having been featured on FOX's "Red Band Society" trailer, MTV's "Real World," and the TV promo for Warner Bros. Pictures’ film PAN. McMahon performed the single on “CONAN” and on “TODAY.” Most recently, he completed a massive summer tour across North America with Weezer and Panic! At The Disco. The lead single off the new record, “Fire Escape,” flew up the Alternative radio chart reaching Top 10 at Alt Radio and Top 5 on Billboard’s Alternative Song chart. His current single, “So Close,” is climbing Top 30 at Alt radio.

Andrew has proven over and over that you can not only rock out with a piano band, but also subdue a crowd in the same show.

    Andrew Amazing!!!

by SuziZ on 4/23/13Culture Room - Ft Lauderdale

Andrew McMahon is simply one of the most incredible artists of our time. His talent surpasses every expectation a concert-goer could ever hope for. Personally, he extends himself to meet with each person who is blessed enough to wait in the long lines, as most folks don't want to miss the opportunity to speak with this gentle man, have treasured items signed, and get a photo to capture the moment he is always so gracious to flash his beyond shining smile for! Needless to say, Andrew McMahon will remain in my heart eternally! :)

    AMAZING CROWD!!

by Gwene on 4/15/13The Paramount - Huntington

I've been to 4 Jack's Mannequin shows prior to seeing Andrew go solo. He is an incredible performer and you could tell how much love was in the crowd when everyone was singing their hearts out to his songs. He has a huge and devoted fan base that have been with him since Something Corporate. I used to listen to SC and Jack's in high school. Almost 10 years later, going to the show with a high school friend, all of those memories came rushing back. It was refreshing to see tons of guys who actually liked his music (not just there to make their gf's happy) singing along! He is truly an artist with an incredible gift. So honored that I was able to witness it!

    Another stellar performance from Andrew!

by Beachbum5555 on 4/13/13Theatre of Living Arts - Philadelphia

This is my third time seeing Andrew perform, the two previous concerts with Jack's Mannequin. He is just an amazing entertainer. I have so much respect for him as a person and it's always a wonderful feeling hearing your favorite songs live. I can't wait to see him again! I also very much enjoyed his two opening acts. Kate Earl sounded absolutely fantastic.

ever-grateful Andrew McMahon rocks Philly again!

by mea38 on 4/12/13Theatre of Living Arts - Philadelphia

I absolutely LOVE watching Andrew McMahon in any manifestation of his bands - love all their songs and each concert seems to be a celebration of life and music and the joy of both of them! His humility and appreciation for being alive and getting to do what he loves come through so clearly, all while he still maintains uber-cool rock star status. Such a great mix of old and a few new songs! Nearly lost my voice!

Andrew McMahon puts on a great show!

by Anonymous on 4/10/13Paradise Rock Club - Boston

I had a great time at the show! No matter where you were standing, the stage was clearly visible and felt very close. Andrew really seemed to have a good time performing and it was so fun to see him rock out. The best part was when he crowd surfed over to each bar to get a drink. Very memorable! I hope he comes to Boston again!

    I LOVE Andrew McMahon!

by Calds on 4/10/13Paradise Rock Club - Boston

This event was amazing. Besides some annoyance from two guys standing in front of me and the other short ladies around me right before Andrew came on, I had a BLAST. Andrew is never short of awesome and I'm so glad I got to experience his work for the second time live. LOVED IT. Keep creating inspirational, upbeat, and incredible music Andrew!

Andrew McMahon is an amazing musician and he puts on an unbelievable live show. His raw energy and passion on stage is out of this world. Although I was sad when he ended Jack's Mannequin, after going to this show I believe that it was for the best. It no longer limits him; it was so wonderful having a mixture of Something Corporate songs, Jack's Mannequin songs, and new songs from his solo career. The set list was pretty much perfect. I am excited for Andrew's upcoming EP and to see where he his headed musically. I am sure he will continue to make brilliant music. I have seen Andrew before and I plan on seeing him again, I would highly recommend listening to his music going to one of his shows! The crowd was great, too; I love how much Andrew's music really creates a sense of community in the room.

    Artist Great; Venu Decent

by OARfan117 on 4/10/13Paradise Rock Club - Boston

Great show. Sound engineer for the opening acts was TERRIBLE. Vocals too high for one and bass levels were off for both.
