Anderson Cooper on Tour

As a journalist, author and anchor of one of CNN's flagship prime-time programs, Anderson Cooper has been a beacon of professionalism, intelligence and balance throughout volatile times. Audiences can expect a more intimate but equally thought-provoking experience when Cooper shifts from his nightly place before the cameras for Anderson Cooper 360̊ to stages across the U.S. and Canada for a new series of live appearances.

Joining him for many of these shows is Andy Cohen, another of the television world's most reliably witty and engaging personalities and Cooper's regular co-host for CNN's New Year's Eve coverage from Times Square in New York. Friends for over 25 years, they realized just how much fun they had together onstage when they first appeared in Boston in 2015. Quickly developing a reputation for their lively conversations and inimitable chemistry, Cooper and Cohen's AC2 tour soon drew sell-out crowds to concert halls and venues across the U.S.

Cooper continues to engage and entertain audiences with a live, interactive and often unconventional look at politics, pop culture and world events.

Anderson Cooper Background

Widely respected for his candor and courage in the face of challenges and conflicts of all kinds, Anderson Cooper is one of America's preeminent journalists, news anchors and authors. It's no wonder he's inspired so much trust in the millions of viewers who see him nightly on CNN's Anderson Cooper 360̊ and weekly on the CBS flagship news program 60 Minutes.

As the son of fashion icon Gloria Vanderbilt, Cooper was born into a world of wealth and privilege, yet he's never taken the easy road since beginning his journalism career in the early 1990s. Early assignments in conflict zones throughout Asia and Africa made him even more determined to bring attention to the world's most urgent stories.

Since joining CNN in 2001, he has been one of the network's most popular and prominent figures. While he's well known for exhibiting poise, intelligence and sensitivity while reporting tough stories, he has also displayed his agile sense of wit on CNN's annual New Year's Eve coverage from Times Square.

Since 2015, Cooper and Cohen have engaged and delighted audiences with onstage conversations that offer their unconventional take on politics, pop culture and world events.

    So Much Fun

by Nuggy on 5/14/19Hippodrome at France-Merrick Performing Arts Center - Baltimore

First of all, we laughed in good fun the entire two hours that the guys were on the stage. It's obvious that they're good friends and they have so much fun together telling their own stories and stories about each other. We could have stayed listening to them for another two hours they are so much fun. We can't wait until they are in the Washington, DC or Baltimore, MD area again. We are true fans.

    Speaker of true quality

by j. b. on 4/1/19The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

Anderson Cooper gave an amazing speech. He challenged all of the attendees to look at a new thought process and different interpretations on many different type of subjects. He shared some details about his life that most people would never be comfortable in sharing. I got the sense that he really wants people to understand how things can appear in a different context. I would definitely go see him again give them the opportunity.

    AC2 Live in Chicago

    by CouldntWait2Leave on 5/24/16Chicago Theater - Chicago

This is a review of the "AC2: Live" event at the Chicago Theater in May of 2015. I can't believe my girlfriend wanted to go see this. Andy Cohen is a narcissistic individual who really seems to have become "famous" mooching off his celebrity friends and imitating others. He has no skill set and is completely obnoxious. Anderson Cooper, on the other hand, is well-spoken and fascinating. Not sure what Anderson would want to travel around with this clown, Andy. It was two hours of boring, uninteresting "conversation" about reality stars. Would not recommend. WAY too expensive, including a $200 meet and greet?? Gimmie a break, Andy. Do yourself a favor and just stay on Bravo. You aren't relevant outside that small world.

AC2: A big waste of time.

by DWhing on 3/26/15Wang Theater - Boston

Anderson and Andy show was big disappointment. Anderson has so much to offer and I was looking forward to his views and experiences with politics and world events. But the show was mostly dominated by the audience's screaming fascination with "Housewives". Had I even known who Andy Cohen was and the nature of his programming, I would have never spent a night on the town with my wife to listen to cheap, reality show hype over nothing. Open mike at the end was big mistake; lines of women fielding uncensored questions about which housewife had the most drama. We couldn't take any more and left.
