Anderson Cooper on Tour
As a journalist, author and anchor of one of CNN's flagship prime-time programs, Anderson Cooper has been a beacon of professionalism, intelligence and balance throughout volatile times. Audiences can expect a more intimate but equally thought-provoking experience when Cooper shifts from his nightly place before the cameras for Anderson Cooper 360̊ to stages across the U.S. and Canada for a new series of live appearances.
Joining him for many of these shows is Andy Cohen, another of the television world's most reliably witty and engaging personalities and Cooper's regular co-host for CNN's New Year's Eve coverage from Times Square in New York. Friends for over 25 years, they realized just how much fun they had together onstage when they first appeared in Boston in 2015. Quickly developing a reputation for their lively conversations and inimitable chemistry, Cooper and Cohen's AC2 tour soon drew sell-out crowds to concert halls and venues across the U.S.
Cooper continues to engage and entertain audiences with a live, interactive and often unconventional look at politics, pop culture and world events.
Anderson Cooper Background
Widely respected for his candor and courage in the face of challenges and conflicts of all kinds, Anderson Cooper is one of America's preeminent journalists, news anchors and authors. It's no wonder he's inspired so much trust in the millions of viewers who see him nightly on CNN's Anderson Cooper 360̊ and weekly on the CBS flagship news program 60 Minutes.
As the son of fashion icon Gloria Vanderbilt, Cooper was born into a world of wealth and privilege, yet he's never taken the easy road since beginning his journalism career in the early 1990s. Early assignments in conflict zones throughout Asia and Africa made him even more determined to bring attention to the world's most urgent stories.
Since joining CNN in 2001, he has been one of the network's most popular and prominent figures. While he's well known for exhibiting poise, intelligence and sensitivity while reporting tough stories, he has also displayed his agile sense of wit on CNN's annual New Year's Eve coverage from Times Square.
Since 2015, Cooper and Cohen have engaged and delighted audiences with onstage conversations that offer their unconventional take on politics, pop culture and world events.
Was super scripted but I love these guys so couldn't complain too much.
I had a delightful time with Andy and Anderson. They were both quite funny, seemingly informal (though with the clips and photos presented on the large screen, it was clear that at least part of the evening was scripted and planned, though it came off as quite spontaneous. I loved the tributes to Anderson's mother, Gloria Vanderbilt, and thought they added so much to the program. Their friendship came across as genuine, long and extensive--and it was great to see two gay men talk about their friendship and their families and their lives. I was glad they did the Q&A, although I really didn't learn nothing that new from that part of the program.
Anderson was amazing what a beautiful person he is he made my day and Andy what a character funny over all I am thankful for the day and the employee they where excellent ♥️
Anderson and Andy were amazing from beginning to end. Both were incredibly entertaining and fun. The night went by so quickly, I am sure they could have gone on for many more hours. Both share life history from the past and what they are working on today. Incredible tribute to Anderson's Mother who had passed away earlier in the week. The venue was also great, beacon Theatre . Easy line to get in and short lines to get drinks. I did the VIP ticket and it was well worth the price!! But any ticket is this theatre would be good.
I loved it. I thought it was fun listening to Andy and Anderson tell stories, make fun of themselves and each other. They told great stories I wouldn’t otherwise have known and felt like we got a chance to see Anderson offline.
I enjoyed the honesty and comraderie and eloquenceof Anderson and Andy in the performance. I didn't even feel it was a show more a chat between best friends about life. The very fact that Anderson could discuss his mom so gracefully and jokingly after her passing on Monday is a testament to his professionalism and grace as a person and a journalist. Andy was very funny and sedate when he needed to be.
Anderson and Andy are always so entertaining! This was the third year in a row that we attended this show! They changed it up, plus Anderson shared with us stories about his wonderful Mom, Gloria Vanderbilt, who he had just lost that week, and Andy shared stories and pictures of his new little son, Benjamin! We cried, laughed, and just listened to them talk the whole time. The show flew by because we were so entertained. I would highly recommend the show to anyone who asks!
An intimate evening with AC2 was so much fun--a true party in a theater! It was time well spent and both Anderson and Andy were on point! I would definitely suggest this show to anyone wanting a peek behind the curtain of both news and pop culture.
Anderson and Andy are incredibly entertaining, what a fabulous show. Will send all my friends!
I was all smiles and giggles for the intimate evening with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen. Their stories were charming! There rapport with one another delightful.
Who wouldn't love an evening with these two? My own gripe is that they don't do more shows so I could see them again and again and again...BAM!
Loved LOTS...The theater...Both Anderson and Andy...The content...The casualness...The laughs...Mostly, the honesty of both...Just FUN...Little pretentious...🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Funny and charming but a little overpriced for what you get.
We loved it. I have always loved Andy Cohen, but now I love Anderson just as much. The two of them make fun of each other and themselves. They were super funny, it was a great night.
FABULOUS SHOW! Hysterical evening! It was so nice to laugh out loud so many times during the show. Anderson and Andy are effortless in their storytelling. They seem to enjoy the audience as well as each other. The show felt intimate and at the end they have a question and answer time. We highly recommend the show and would even go again.
It was a really fun show with inside stories and stories they've never told before. And you can tell they thoroughly enjoy doing the show and they keep you laughing and entertained throughout. There is even a Q&A session at the end and they do answer quite a few questions. Overall, a great show and while I did not know what to expect, it was better than I thought it could be!
Evening of stories from their lives and careers, super funny and never a dull moment. It was a great evening of fun.
We had a blast at AC2 Live! Both Andy and Anderson were on top of their game. Anderson was unexpectedly very entertaining and funny! Andy was his usual charming, adorable, funny self. I highly recommend this show <3
They were really funny. Only downside, if you don’t care about ‘Housewives’ Some of it will bore you
80% of the audience was there for Andy Cohen talking about the Housewives shows. Not anything we care about so disappointed overall, especially since I brought my husband and he didn’t know what was going on most of the time. Parts that weren’t about the Housewives were much better but wouldn’t go again.
