    Just ok

by Allison on 2/7/22Fisher Theatre - Detroit

I hate to leave a less then stellar review as the cast were unbelievably talented. However the show was just ok. It felt like they were trying to make 80s songs fit when they didn’t always go. We did the VIP package and had the dinner before. The dinner was awful. Super small portions that were brought in sporadically. No beverages were included. Not water, tea or coffee. $50 for a mediocre meal and you have to pay for a water? I anticipate paying for alcoholic drinks, but that was very disappointing. Had to pay to have my Diet Coke refilled. at

    Excellent Production

by N2dressblues on 2/3/22Lexington Opera House - Lexington

This was such an amazing performance! The cast was so talented and fun to watch. Their stamina was incredible. From the moment it started to the very end, it was so entertaining and fun! The music was great. KUDO's to the cast and all those behind the scenes making this phenomenal show come to life. I LOVED it so much I saw it twice in one day! Unbridled talent and voices!

Great telling of the movie into a musical

by Carrie on 2/2/22Lexington Opera House - Lexington

Wonderful acting, singing and dancing. The 80’S musical was terrific along with having a live band.

    Underwhelming

by Margo on 2/1/22Lexington Opera House - Lexington

I had been quite excited about attending this play. Unfortunately I found it disappointing. The whole production was flat. The stage sets were unimaginative. None of the actors had memorable voices and they were over-miced for the space. It just didn't seem to work for me. The opera house itself is quite nice. I look forward to future events. I was a bit surprised that masks were not required.

Fantastic show! Great acting and music.

by Cheryl on 2/1/22Lexington Opera House - Lexington

I wasn’t expecting the show to be so physical. The guys and gurl had to be in tip top shape for them to do the workouts. The show was so worth seeing!

    Bad Sound

by Alex on 2/1/22Lexington Opera House - Lexington

We were sitting up on the 3rd floor. The sounds was quite bad up there. We could barely understand the words while they were singing. The music seemed to loud up there.

Experiences make for the BEST Christmas presents, and this one was a hit! The cast was energetic and passionate in their roles, and it made for a delightful evening and a great Christmas Present Experience for my wife.

    Miss

    by C. S. on 1/31/22Lexington Opera House - Lexington

Loved the music and the voices, but the story line was changed so much from what everyone knows that it greatly distracted the enjoyment. Plus the "dance" portion was bad choreography. I was disappointed.

by m on 1/21/22Indiana University Auditorium - Bloomington

    Poor acoustics

by Suz333 on 1/19/22Mark C. Smith Concert Hall at the Von Braun Center - Huntsville

I was in the lower balcony at VBC in Huntsville. The acoustics were not optimal - the spoken words were not clear and even the music sounds were not pure.

This reimagined story was truly fun and the awesome 80s music kept us dancing in our seats! One of our all-time favorite films takes a unique turn on the stage and is utterly delightful. Come with an open mind and you won't be disappointed!

    Absolutely Fantastic

by Troy on 12/23/21Thalia Mara Hall - Jackson

Show was spectacular, I truly enjoyed it. Only thing I would change is try not to venture into this “woke” concept, simply entertain.
