    Great Show

by Amanda K on 12/22/21Heymann Performing Arts Center - Lafayette

Loved the 80s music. Cast was great and though it followed the movie, the changes kept it interesting! ❤️

This musical shoukd not be touring

by DMacK on 12/14/21Ovens Auditorium - Charlotte

Officer and a Gentleman was NOT a movie that could be turned into a musical. The music chosen for this show was poorly considered. More importantly, the lead actors were not able to sing the music well (they were really hard to listen to). The script from the original movie was changed to have racial overtones. Not acceptable! I’m there to be entertained, not admonished by a terrible script and performers that could not do solos in a church choir. It took guts to sell tickets to this show for more than $25. A middle row sear for $145 was absurd. Especially when two-thirds of the seats around us were vacant….on a Saturday night.I have attended better high school performances! I will not attend another event at this theater without checking the reviews, first!

    Nice evening out!

by Cf on 12/11/21Ovens Auditorium - Charlotte

This show made for a lovely evening! The music was fantastic and extra enjoyable if you like 80s tunes. The cast was talented and their ability to exercise while singing was impressive. The show, though long, went by incredibly fast and kept me engaged. I would recommend this show for an enjoyable evening at the theater.

We saw a spectacular show tonight. Everything about An Officer and a Gentleman was fantastic. This is one of the best shows we have ever seen. The energy and talent of the cast was incredible and all aspects of the set made you feel like you were part of the production. Well done !!

    Very entertaining.

I'm very surprised how much I enjoyed this show. The group I went with also in felt the same. The stage set was good with an interactive part and the lighting/specials effect were fantastic! The story was good and the singing was great! Is it top notch Broadway? No but it is totally entraining and a great evening out. Go and see this show!

The sound was too loud. Dialogue was hard to hear.

by Chris on 11/9/21SAFE Credit Union Performing Arts Center - Sacramento

Only two cast members who happened to be minor players were audible. They must have been wearing different mikes than the others. The scenery was amazing. The cast was working very hard, but the sound was just too loud, especially the musical numbers.

    Didn’t love it.

by SK on 11/8/21SAFE Credit Union Performing Arts Center - Sacramento

The best voice was on the young cadet woman. Loved the song choices from the 80s. But the voices and the acting from the main character wasn’t great. Storyline not my favorite - outdated.

    Nice afternoon musical

by Susan on 11/7/21SAFE Credit Union Performing Arts Center - Sacramento

Very clean inside theater and felt safe! Seating comfortable and spacious! Performance was professional and entertaining! Lack of reasonably priced parking a big negative-$28.00 for 3 hours is gouging the public!
