AMY GRANT IN CONCERT:
In the '80s, singer-songwriter Amy Grant parlayed her fame as a Christian recording artist into one of the most successful crossover stories of the decade, topping the mainstream pop charts with adult contemporary hits like "The Next Time I Fall" and "Baby Baby." Since then, Grant has continued to wow fans with her angelic vocals and penchant for pop hooks, earning a reputation as an energetic and inspiring live performer. In 2014, Grant will treat fans with a string of solo tour stops as well as her performances on An Evening with Amy Grant and Vince Gill, her nationwide tour with Vince Gill.

Amy Grant undoubtedly holds the title of most accomplished Christian music artist in history, selling more albums than any other entertainer in her genre. Her ‘80s hits “El Shaddai,” “My Father’s Eyes” “and “Angels” have become contemporary Christian classics, and her crossover to mainstream music also met with phenomenal success. In 1986 Grant reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with “The Next Time I Fall in Love,” a duet with Pete Cetera, topping the charts again in 1992 with ubiquitous hit “Baby, Baby." She has received multiple Grammy and Dove Awards, and was inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame in 2003.
I have followed her for decades. And it had been decades since I saw her last. Loved so go g along to her “oldies” and listening to her life lessons and newer songs for today

Amy Grant was incredible. Very down to earth and super talented. She addressed the fans in a very caring, appreciative manor. She's the real deal! Money well spent. I was very blessed through her music and narrative. Thank you, Amy and crew!
I was very excited to see Amy Grant again. She always does a fantastic concert. I loved this concert. Amy Grant is the best. The Santander Performing Arts Center in Reading, PA was a beautiful theater.

Really enjoyed this concert! I’ve seen Amy Grant many times since my teens. This was a great mixture of all of her music from the 1980’s until today. She is kind, funny, truthful and grateful to her fans. I also enjoy the venue. It’s a reminder of what theaters used to look like. I love the ornate trim and cushioned seating.
She had a fabulous concert! Loved hearing the old songs.
Amy makes you feel like you are sitting in her living room while she and the band are playing for you. Such a great variety of songs from her earliest to the most current. Amazing band and vocalists and the duet with Amy and Gene was phenomenal.
Very rare concert experience - music combined with spirituality! Will she bring her concert to big cities like Philadelphia ?
Amy Grant and her band gave a wonderful concert. She emanates warmth, kindness and caring through her singing. She has a beautiful alto voice and still has a good upper range. Her repertoire included original religious and popular songs but she did add an uplifting version of Put a Little Love in Your Heart that was well received. In addition to being a wonderful musician, she promoted a group called Compassion Responders that helps protect children from extreme hunger when a crisis strikes and was giving signed posters to those who made a contribution.
An evening with Amy Grant was just that. A wonderful smaller venue to enjoy her decades of music plus brand new music! So much more enjoyable than seeing her in a big arena. It felt very intimate
Lovely older theatre with wonderful sound! - and then there was Amy - she had crowd from first note and kept them with her for the entire 2.45 hour concert. - Oldies of course, but new and blended songs. - great show!
It was an awesome concert!!! Amy is still in great voice and LOVE her story telling. It's adds so much to the concert! The sound check was great also, could have been longer but... we'll take what we can get. :)
Amy put on a top notch show preforming all of her classics and a few new things. She presented the songs in her unique melodic style and left you wanting more
Lone the venue. We are blessed to have a place like the Adler. Amy Grant was excellent. It was our first time to see her and the band. We had a fantastic night!
Amy and her band put on a great show! Her voice is still very unique and soothing, and she went through old and even a couple of brand new songs. She can still bring it and still youthful - though wiser and seasoned 😉. Her gifts of song, harmonies and lyric have been giving for a long time & I was not disappointed. Also, God honoring and fun.
Before the concert, I knew Amy and Vince Gill were married. I hadn't recognized any songs by Amy Grant except 'Baby, Baby'. Also, I didn't know she started out in the late seventies and early eighties as a singer/songwriter of Christian music. Her voice is exceptionally good. Her stories between songs tell a lot about her values as a human being. I liked how she spreads the word about all people being connected. She doesn't talk about the negative side of anything. She looks at the positive side of relationships, people who have made a difference in her life, and planting trees and helping people who go hungry much of the time. I wish I could go to one of her Christmas concerts in Nashville. Who knows? I will. Her song 'El Shaddai' is incredible. Go Amy!
A really good concert and so much energy!! Good trip down memory lane. Can’t wait till I can see her in concert again.
