Rodeo was very good and well run. Enjoy Sara Evans music very much. However the sound volume really destroyed enjoyment of her music. Sound was too loud. I made the mistake of not wearing ear plugs. With my fingers over my ears I could hear the music just fine. I have been to concerts after the rodeo with Merle Haggard and also Lorrie Morgan. Did not have that problem with volume of sound. Sara Evans is good enough does not need sound enhancement. The sound was too loud for the rodeo announcer in all honesty but not as bad as the concert volume. The Budweiser team was an added bonus, very impressive.

Sara Evans gave a fantastic concert. The American Royal Rodeo fantastic also.

My one complaint: Why weren't the video screens used during the Sara Evans concert? They obviously worked during the rodeo! The rodeo was excellent. I'm sorry to see that attendance is so low. I assume part of the reason is Kemper losing the FFA convention. That convention probably brought in alot of kids and families. I wish they would have brought back the monkey riding the sheep skit like they had last year. Is the horse that was broke his leg OK?

Thoroughly enjoyed the rodeo but wish the tickets were not so expensive. We were a little dishearted about the Sara Evans concert because her vocals were very difficult to hear. If you didn't know the song you could not make out the words. Two years ago I attended the rodeo and stayed for the concert and had the same problem then, too; we just thought it was an isolated incident.

The rodeo was great. Was sad that the person I came to see had a horse that injured itself. I didn't like the team cattle roping. didn't seem fair. Sarah Evans was great to watch.

What I really liked about the Rodeo was how fast things were moving along, I don't remember any time in the past where I went where they moved that fast and wasn't really any down time. I remember as a kid going that as the flags went around the stadium carried by a rider on a horse, a wave was down in sync with the rider(s), I do kinda miss that, I have tried to start a wave during that but was unsuccessful. The music they use during the rodeo is like wow that is the perfect song to play. I had to be a work at 6am so I didn't stay for the whole concert, Sara Evans did play her classic songs and they were good, I was disappointed in the new ones, the ones I heard weren't upbeat and just didn't appeal to me. Well that's this man's opinion anyway.

The rodeo is a lot of fun and the clowns are always enjoyable. It was a little tough this year because a saddle bronc horse broke a leg right at the begining of the night. All the cowboys rushed to aid the horse and they got it off the field to be cared for. Part of the reality of the rodeo but still hard to see. Sara Evans was great and it felt more like a small club show. The sound guy could have taken it down a notch but otherwise a great mix and an intimate performance.

I am not much of a rodeo fan. I was there to see Sara. My wife is not much of a sara fan but was there to see rodeo. When leaving that night though, I thought overall ,rodeo included, it was a lot of fun. Sara evans voice is unbelievable. The rodeo competition was tense. My wife said she can hardly wait til next year. Sara Evans not included.

Great event! Unfortunately one of the boys got hurt in the end during bull riding so they had to finish a lit bit early due to the ambulance situation....good thing is that the boy was ok from what I heard! We had some friends competing and my kids do rodeo so we had a great time!

I enjoyed the rodeo as well as the concert. I was in the general admission seating so I had a good view of the stage but not really close enough to see Sara Evans up close. The screens above the arena that were on for the rodeo, not the one by the judges or announcers but the ones out in the middle, were not on during the concert so in order to get up and see Sara Evans up close I would have had to purchase one of the $10 tickets to go out into the arena and there was no way I could of done that simply because I didn't have the necessary funds, and I wasn't interested in standing for the entire concert. If those screens would of been on and in operation other fans like myself could of seen Sara Evans a little closer. But it was a really great birthday gift to me from me. The choice of refreshments and their prices were way to high, but that seems to be the norm with concerts these days.

Everthing thing was very good, the only bad moment was when the horse got hurt.

The Rodeo was great. The Contestants,Announcers, Clowns and Stock were top notch. Pat Greens music was too loud and sounded the same.

Pat Green was good but disappointed that the mechanical bull was not working and not as many vendors as in the past

A most excellent display of equine athleticism and horsemanship that I have seen in years.

Jerry Diaz and family was the best thing. It got very boring-same thing over and over. Lot of money for an very below average show. Bought 7 ticket and I would not spend the money again. Really disappointed. Wish it was the same show you had few years back. Mexican bull fights, bull riding, and Jerry Diaz. That show was great. Will not be back as long as it is this event again. And will not recommend it to anyone.

Very professional presentation. Well balanced for a mixed audence. We want you to do it again next year. The after show reception was a crown to the event.

Maybe I got there too early (around noon on Saturday) but the event was pretty dull! Although I was impressed by the number of participants, you can only look at so many BBQ cookers, trailers, etc. If i go again (doubtful) I will plan on being there later in the day when the bands started playing.

We went, my hubby took pics of all the cool and cleaver signs of the names of the BBQ contestants and we bought a slab, sat on the curb, listened to live music and ate. Was overall a fun time and we had BBQ to take home to snack on later. We didn't stay late, there was not a lot to do on Saturday, but overall we spent $50 on an afternoon adventure that was really different. We liked it.
