It was great! The venue was wonderful! Very entertaining!
It was an outstanding live show with a meet/greet to precede it; all of the performers that night had such camaraderie that is undeniable! I'm so thankful that the show itself was given a 2nd chance on its new home, ABC, and I'm delighted to know that it was renewed for another season! Definitely recommended for all ages!
I have been to almost all of the Idols Live tours, so when it was announced that ABC would be bringing back American Idol and then having a summer tour, I was beyond excited. As I've done for a few tours now, I purchased meet and greet tickets, so getting to meet this seasons finalists was amazing and seeing them perform live was as well.
My kids were thrilled! This was the highlight if their summer
They didn’t sing very popular songs or songs the crowd could sing along to. We weren’t expecting anything amazing because we knew these guys were kids and not professionals, however we were really disappointed in the song choices. They did a great job and it was cool to see them live from watching the season but overall it wasn’t what we were hoping for. We left and played their better songs from spotify in the car!
Seats were amazing and we got to meet them after the show for selfies.
Took 7, 11, &15 year olds to see the show and they all loved it. Lots of talented performers and a wide variety of songs. Would take them back again.
Great performances by the top American Idol contestants, but Journee was missing. They were fun to see live. I would have liked more performances from Maddie Poppe! She is truly a star. Michael and Catie were wonderful too! Their charisma shined brightly on stage. Next time skip the warm up act - it was too long! Venue was fun and funky - in city hall!
Anybody who was a fan of this season of American Idol should go and see American Idol Live! The singers from the show are great. My personal favorite Maddie Poppe was amazing!
By far the best show I’ve seen in many years. However Jurnee wasn’t there and no announcement was made as to why.
Opening group was on longer than expected but the starsof the show where awesome very well done .
I liked the show but was disappointed that Jurnee did not sing that night. The opening band was a waste of time and money. Boring and not very good. Other than that we enjoyed the show
ALL THE PERFORMERS DID AN AMAZING JOB. SO ENJOYED SEEING THEM PLAY THEIR TOP HITS FROM THE SHOW. REALLY WISH CALEB WOULD HAVE SUNG HIS JOSH TURNER SONG. GABBY'S JOURNEY SONG WAS INCREDIBLE. MADDIE AND CALEB ARE SO GREAT TOGETHER. THE LENGTH OF THE SHOW WAS PERFECT. ALL OF THEM ARE SO TALENTED AND SUCH A GREAT BUNCH OF PEOPLE. OUR ONLY COMPLAINT WAS THE OPENING ACT, "FOREVER IN YOUR MIND". WE CAME TO SEE THE AMERICAN IDOLS, THEY WERE A WASTE OF OUR TIME. IF I WAS TO GO AGAIN I WOULD ARRIVE AT 8:00, SO I COULD SKIP THE OPENING ACT. THEY WEREN'T TERRIBLE, THEY HARMONIZED WELL. MAYBE I WOULD HAVE ENJOYED IT MORE IF I WAS 10 YEARS OLD. WE JUST DIDN'T THINK THEY WERE A GOOD OPENING ACT FOR THIS SHOW.
Best entertainment value per dollar I have experienced in many years. All the kids on stage were topnotch talents and I wish them all the best in their careers.
Didn't get what we paid for Only 6 there! Jurney a no show
Wow, this is a talented group of singers. Terrific to see them live. I hope each and every one of them succeed. Jurnee was not at our show, whom we missed. It's a long show, which for many of the youngsters in the audience made for a late night. It would be great if they could do a matinee show sometimes. Also, the opening act, a Disney boy band, was on for far too long. I'm fine with a little warm-up act of 10-15 minutes, but these mediocre guys stayed on for a half hour, and then there was a 20 minute break. I think Maddie and Katy are terrific, but the show producers don't serve their talents well. These singers thrive doing quieter, idiosyncratic songs, but this show seemed to force highly produced power-pop numbers on everyone. Gabby works very well in this groove, and the biggest applause of the night was for Cade's Jimi Hendrix cover of "All Along the Watchtower." Caleb is just unstoppable doing his country thing, but the others I feel just didn't seem to be performing as their authentic selves. Katy doing "Havana" just seemed like a joke. So the show was lots of fun, and I only blame the show organizers for creating a pre-packaged, power-pop entertainment product rather than a show that allowed each performer to thrive in their lane.
It was literally the worst concert I ever been to. The set list was so poor. Way too many slow songs that we back to back to back that just made you want to fall asleep. A concert is suppose to take you on a ride going up and down. American idol has many different genres to appeal to many different people in an audience. The songs should have been shaken up a lot more to keep peoples interest. The 4 of us left a half hour early we were just....bored
This years version of AI is paired down, but non-stop music! Love these guys! Love that they brought back a past idol to be the MC of the show. Caleb has much improved and Michael is.....well what can I say....Michael is Titanium!
All the performers sounded great. I think the production could use some polish - nothing like the tv event. Didn’t even realize that Jurnee wasn’t with them except that the number of performers were missing one. Kris Allen didn’t add anything special - I would have rather seen more of this seasons winner Maddie. She should have had a longer set.
