Amber Liu in Concert
A California native, Amber Liu was discovered at the age of 15 at SM Entertainment's global auditions in Los Angeles. Following a move to South Korea, she debuted in 2009 as a member of the female group f(x). The record-breaking electro-pop-based K-pop group quickly became one of the industry's most popular and award-winning. In 2013, the group became the first K-pop act to perform at SXSW, with the New York Times' Jon Pareles calling their performance "impeccable." f(x)'s 2013 album ‘Pink Tape' was called "one of the best Asian pop albums of all-time," by Pitchfork and charted #1 on Billboards K-Pop Hot 100 and World Album charts.In 2015, Amber's first solo release, the critically acclaimed album "Beautiful", debuted at #2 on Billboard's World Albums chart, with the title track's music video, released the same day, garnering more than 1 million YouTube views in its first day of release. She has also made a career on television and film, hosting several variety and travel shows in South Korea, and will star in the American indie film The Eagle and the Albatross in 2020.

We did the VIP meet and greet with Amber. She is such a sweetheart. She signed all of our merch, took multiple pictures, and gave many hugs. The concert itself was alot of fun. She is a born performer. Great time had by all.
She's amazing performing her hit songs. Entertaining audience as well as advice on personal life. I wish she could bring more dancers with her. I love their dance move and agility. More power to Amber and team.
I had the best time. Amber was sweet, funny, and talented. Her vocals and lyrics were so moving. Her choreography was fire. Justin Park made me weak. He was charismatic and his voice was amazing. Meg and Dia were a breath of fresh air. Their music and vocals were awesome. Would 100 percent recommend any of them to my friends and family. Definitely would love to see them again.
Amber is one of those unique triple-threat performers. She can dance like Bieber, sing like ...well, like a lot of great pop stars, Grande, Gaga, Swift, etc. But her third and possibly BIGGEST talent? She’s a damn walking self-help book! What an inspiration! Wasn’t expecting to hear such fun music, see such great dancing AND leave there feeling uplifted and downright good about the world. She covered a lot of serious topics, but in the best of ways. Just wow! Meg and Dia were also fantastic, another great surprise! The evening was two thumbs up!
Organization was lacking. I had vip tickets that include meet and greet. When I entered there were two lines. No one directed us which line is for what, so I assumed they were both for the meet and greet. Boy was I wrong. The line I was in ended up being a merch line. I waisted all that time standing in that line and ended up being at the very back. So sad. This could have been avoided if lines were labeled or someone directed us where to go. Nevertheless, it was an awesome night! Amber is an amazing person! I am so happy I got meet her in person, hear her story, and see her perform! I hope she will come again.
I got to the venue at around 11 am and started lining up. I wanted to be at the very front. Once it was time to get the passes and tour bag, I got it and then proceed to go inside. I bought merch first and then got in line to meet Amber. She’s the sweetest person ever. I was tearing up in line because I have loved her so long and finally being able to meet her made my dream come true. She’s so kind and understanding. Her show was amazing also. The opening acts were so good. I had no idea who Meg and Dia were until the day of the show. Justin Park, he was so good and amazing. He really interacted with the crowd and then afterwards did his own mini meet and greet. Overall, the concert was so fun and amazing. If you ever get the chance to go to one of Amber’s shows, please go. You won’t regret it. The venue was also really nice. It’s small, but it made the experience much more worth it and enjoyable.
Amber is so fun and has so much energy. She made the experience not just about music but about her life. She is also very funny. Loved it!
The show started with Justin Park and he was amazing! He owned the staged and completely captured the hearts of the crowd. Then Meg and Dia performed and you could tell they were having fun and really "performing" in every sense of the word. When Amber came on she started with her song "Countdown" and everyone including me went crazy! She was very interactive with the crowd we were her YeeYee's and we adored her. I was lucky enough to get barricade, she is just as beautiful, nice, and charismatic as she seems. It was an amazing concert and I really recommend going and seeing her.
Would love to have said the concert was AMAZING but the staff at the Houston House of Blues were unsymapthetic towards a fan with a knee injury. Would not allow me to have the chair behind me so I could take the weight off my knee. They kept insisting I would have to go upstairs, which I could not do, so I choose to walk out of a concert I had wanted to see for 6 months before it began. I was not able to do the meet and greet as it was also upstairs. Her promoter had pulled me to the side and said he could bring her to me but because I felt the need to leave early that did not happen. Spent 200 on tickets and merch but did not receive anything from it not even the concert. I personally will not be going to anymore concerts because I feel that I was a fool to go to this one. I will follow Amber and my other favorite artists on YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. Really depressed but I understand it is not her or her promoters fault. It was mostly an old fool's fault for believing age didn't matter bit also because of staff at Houston House of Blue.
I have been a fan of Amber for soo many years now, this show was really amazing and a night to remember. Nothing was chaotic, everything from waiting in line to leaving the venue was well organized. I loved being so close to her during the concert, definitely the best experience ever. She was super interactive with us fans and we laughed and had a good time.

This concert was so beautiful!!! I really love having diverse options and K-Pop and their artists are really popular and valued. It was quite amazing being there and the venue was super cool!

I already loved Amber and her music before going to the concert. And Amber is so honest and just has so much fun performing for her fans. She was just her fun and goofy self and I loved seeing her. The openers for her show Justin Park and Meg and Dia were also great. Especially, Justin Park. He has amazing stage presence and really wowed the audience and has people becoming his fan within minutes of being on stage. Even with this being my first ever concert I loved the experience. Overall it was so surreal and I was just so excited just to be apart of that crowd. The DMV loves our Llama and we can’t wait to see her again.
Amber Liu's concert was amazing! I went to the meet and greet and it was like a dream come true. She's so nice! I met a lot of cool people at the concert and we had a lot of fun. I had a really good time!
I loved how no one was rushed during the meet and greet. Amber took her time with each fan and she was super sweet. The concert itself was so much fun. Definitely get vip if you can, its so worth it.
I didn't know who she was. My daughter wanted to go. Her personality is amazing and she is a great role model for young girls. I was blown away by her. I told my daughter if she ever back in Atlanta , we are going. Her voice and music are amazing. I keep telling everyone about her and how I was so amazed by her.
