Alvin Ailey Dance Theater Tickets

An incredible experience for my aspiring dancers!!

The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater presented an excellent show of traditional pieces. This is the third time I've had the opportunity to see the work of these extraordinary dancers and wanted to see more new selections. The selections in Revelations are always great, but if you are a fan like me, you yearn for new excitement. Somehow I felt like I was set back in time witth a few exceptions.

The Alvin Ailey dancers’ performance was amazing. The dancers movement communicated with the auidence. Defiantly will see again.

Last night, I along with my family and friends went to see Alvin Ailey. As usual they did not disappoint us! We left the theater with songs in our hearts and an additional 'pep' in our step. Keep doing what you're doing!

This is my third year in a row going to see Alvin Ailey. I am NEVER DISAPPOINTED! An exceptional performance by ALL the dancers. It is worth every penny...Just beautiful!

AS ALWAYS THE DANCERS WERE ON POINT! THE EDUCATION THROUGH FILM WAS NEW AT THE BEGINNING AND I THANK YOU FOR IT.

This event was absolutely exceptional, done with so much excellence!!

The show was well worth it, uplifiting, funny at times, amazing dance and choreography. Heymann Center offered great sight lines. No obstructed at any time from 3rd row balcony.

I visited the lovely Fox Theater to see the 20th year celebration of The Alvin Ailey American Dancers and they were absolutely awesome! It was worth the trip, I drove from Florida to see them, and I would definitely see them again!

This was my very first time seeing The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater & it was amazing! It has given me a much greater insight on life & respect for The Arts. I had the pleasure of exposing my 7 year old son to such an educational & uplifting event. I will definitely be attending for years to come!!

Alvin Ailey Dancers are a performance I can see every month. The dancers have such grace and poise. They just flow with the music. Watching them you can just flow with the music. You can feel the connection and the dedication they have for what they are doing. This is not a job for them, it is a part of their life and that is what makes it such a perfect performance. Wonderful-- Simply Marvelous!!!!!

I was totally engulfed with Otis Redding's music. How the choregrapher connected dance with the music was on point. The second part I did not enjoy as much. Of course Revelation was the high point of the evening. The dancers showed great skills with their body control and smooth movements interspersed with leaps and energetic and spirited gestures. Their personalities and facial expressions connected the dancers with the audience. I left the theatre on a high.

As a kid I'd always dreamed of seeing The Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre and even dreamed of being one of the dancers. However, I was just never able to make that dream come true. I'm so blessed to have had the opportunity to see these dancers perform. The show was just beautiful. I'd seen Revelations danced on televison, but to see it live was breathtaking. I took my 12 year-old Goddaughter and she loved it. I'd recommend it to anyone.

It was a great show. Alhough the seats that we got did not see the scene completely, They were close to the stage but too much on the side. And for some reason the stage was occluded by the speakers and curtains on the sides. So we had to switch seats several times.

The gracefulness and elegance of the dancers are so incredible. I cant wait until they come back to New Orleans.

To experience these amazing dancers is always pure JOY.

This event was absolutely spectacular! I wish Alvin Ailey could come to Montgomery every year! It brought back memories of when I used to dance. Where would I be if I continued on that path! They should have had another show date scheduled, one night was just not enough!! Unbelievable talent! This show really lifts your spirit!!

A beautiful demonstration of strength, technical skill and creativity. I hoped to see The Hymn, but was, nonetheless, very pleased with the performance. It is hard to pick a favorite, because the whole thing was magnificent. The beautiful beginning performance of art in motion to the poetic interpretations through dance to the three-man performance in The Revelation. It is hard to choose. It is a must see for everyone.

This was my first time attending an Alvin Ailey presentation and certainly will not be my last. I had heard so many wonderful comments about the show that when it came to my town I could not miss it. I thoroughly enjoyed myself! There was so much talent, poise and entertainment on that stage. I was well entertained. Alvin Ailey was definitely a visionary and we are blessed that his works will live on through the excellent dancers, Judith Jamison and all others who work so hard to make the fantastic performance happen.
