Back in 2004, four lifelong musicians got together down in Florida. Even though they had traveled separate paths, similar lessons learned, wisdom earned, and dues paid united these gentlemen--Myles Kennedy [vocals, guitar], Mark Tremonti [guitar, vocals], Brian Marshall [bass], and Scott Phillips [drums]--as Alter Bridge. Over the ensuing two decades, the band endured countless trials and tribulations, defied every odd, and rose to the head of the pack as a hard rock juggernaut, cementing a singular legacy by selling out arenas, gathering nearly 1 billion streams, inciting international acclaim, and quietly attracting a diehard audience. Beginning with the Top 5 entry of 2004's gold-certified One Day Remains, the band have scored six consecutive Top 20 debuts on the Billboard 200. Among a myriad of highlights, Guitarist Magazine applauded "Blackbird" for the "Greatest Guitar Solo of All Time," the ABIII single "Isolation" vaulted to #1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Chart, 2013's Fortress received rare perfect scores from KERRANG! and Total Guitar, and Walk The Sky shook the Top Rock Albums Chart at #1. Beyond packing O2 Arena and Royal Albert Hall, Classic Rock hailed 2022's Pawns & Kings as "the Rolls-Royce of Alter Bridge records" in a 4.5-out-of-5 star review. Plus, the latter LP garnered praise from American Songwriter, Guitar World, and Loudwire, while Billboard christened them "one of America's premiere hard rock quartets." Channeling the same hunger, the band continue to push themselves on their self-titled eighth full-length offering, Alter Bridge [Napalm Records]. It embodies everything they're known for such as the precise riffs, towering hooks, and solos that practically break guitar strings as they burst through the clouds.

I was there to see Sevendust. Alter bridge was good too.
It's been more than 20 years since I last saw Seven Dust in concert, again, I was blown away. I've never had an opportunity to see Alter Bridge before and knew of them, had heard a lot of their music, but hadn't connected their sound to their name or faces until the other night. I'm so excited that I was able to connect it all at the Fillmore. MJT was a new act for me completely and I was genuinely impressed by their talent and bravery as I'm sure it's a daunting task to cover a very popular FOO FIGHTERS song. Their cover of "Best of You"was done really well. I would wholeheartedly recommend a show at the Fillmore as a venue it lacks for a bit non-vip seating, but that was my only issue.
These guys just get better with time. Please bring them back here ASAP!
Alter Bridge is an exceptional band that consistently delivers an unforgettable live experience. Having had the opportunity to see them four times, I can confidently say that they never disappoint. Their performances are a masterclass in rock and alternative metal, showcasing their incredible musicianship and stage presence. Myles Kennedy's soaring vocals are nothing short of captivating, and Mark Tremonti's guitar skills are awe-inspiring. The rhythm section, with Brian Marshall on bass and Scott Phillips on drums, provides a solid foundation for the band's powerful sound. What sets Alter Bridge apart is their ability to create a deep emotional connection with the audience through their lyrics and music. Whether they're belting out anthems like "Blackbird"or delivering soul-stirring ballads like "In Loving Memory,"their songs resonate on a profound level. Alter Bridge's dedication to delivering a top-notch live performance is evident in their tight musicianship, dynamic stage presence, and their ability to engage the audience. Each show feels like a unique experience, making it no surprise that I've seen them four times and still crave more. If you haven't had the chance to see them yet, I highly recommend catching them live; you won't be disappointed.
The band was excellent. The sound engineer was not so good. Vocals were buried in the mix, way to much Snare. Also their was no high pass filter on guitars which left in tons of low end all the way down to 40Hz. All that mud just ruined the mix.
This was my first experience at the Andrew J Brady event center. The venue is very nice with easy access to restrooms and concessions. The first two bands were excessively loud and it was difficult to hear the vocals over the drums and bass. They adjusted the sound for Alter Bridge and it was better. Seats were comfortable and easily accessible. I receive an advance information email about what entrance to use for the type of seating we had that was also very helpful.
Alter Bridge is one of the best touring rock/hard rock bands period! They are extremely talented players and are very professional. I can’t believe they aren’t as well known as some other lesser acts. More people should experience their excellent live performances.
Great venue and staff. Not a bad seat in the house. Three bands--first wasn't that great (GMT?) but Sevendust and Alter Bridge certainly were. Miles Kennedy is an unbelievable singer and musician.
Have been wanting to see this band since the debut album. Now nearly 20 years later, it finally happened. If you get the chance to see Alter Bridge, do it. Sevendust was great as well. Their singer is amazing. Really chill guy too.
When you listen to an Alter bridge CD and you finally take that jump to seeing them live great things are in store for you. They’re performance is ten fold the best I’ve ever seen and they’re some of the nicest people I’ve ever had the privilege of meeting.
Alter bridge is my favorite band and they did not disappoint! The other bands were good too. None of them were in the same vein of music, so it seemed like an odd grouping. Otherwise, it was a great night!
I only went to see Sevendust. They were awesome! Loved their show. Sevendust rocks!!! Didn't stay for Alter Bridge but heard it was good.
Alter Bridge is a great band. Myles has one of the best voices in rock and roll today, hands down. Their performance was great but nothing outstanding. I felt like they did the bare minimum to hit 90 mins onstage and called it a night. There were no solos highlighting the talents of the band and only one song in the encore. My husband had seen them in the past as they’re one of his favorite bands and even he left disappointed. While we enjoyed the night out, we left feeling meh.
I'll keep it short... AB was one of the best performances I've I've. All the vocals and instruments were flawless. The sound quality was perfectly balanced, and the volume was just right. The set list was the perfect blend of newer and older songs. If you could only go to one concert, this is the one to see. I will see them again.
Alter Bridge was simply great. The openers were very good as well. All the bands played totally live. NO BACKING TRACKS!! The way a rock show should be. It was an outside show and the sound mix was one of the best I’ve ever heard. The show started in day light but as the evening progressed the light shows just got better. I’ve wanted to see Alter Bridge for ever. And was not at all disappointed. It’s amazing this band isn’t one of the biggest around today.
I love to rock and Alter Bridge plus Sevendust did not disappoint. This was my first time at the Andrew J Brady music center. I loved the seating and the venue but dear god, TURN THE SOUND DOWN!!!! My ear drums hurt for 2 days. Wayyyyyy to loud!…..
Alter Bridge sounded incredible and the venue was awesome.
Alter Bridge was absolutely FANTASTIC!!! There is no other band out there that comes even close to delivering the same caliber of a live performance. It was my second time seeing them live this year, and my first time at this venue. I don’t think there is a bad seat. I was in section 106, and had a straight line to the stage.
Alter Bridge amazing as always. Venue with only General Admission to be up front which was a pain after spending all the $ for meet and greet with early access. City view lounge we paid extra for our group not accessible at all on 3rd floor without losing our spots during the 3 bands. Absolute waste of $ and Ticketmaster should have stated limitations when buying tickets for the lounge with GA ticket. Had a forward moving crowd and was jammed up against the fence all night. Others in the meet/greet said same to us. Louisville Palace Alter Bridge setup much better. Still love those guys!
Opener MJT was a whole vibe. Tons of fun. Sevendust was exciting to see. A good time, great music. Alter Bridge was phenomenal. As long as they continue touring, I will continue to support them!
