by Senay on 7/6/13Howard Theatre - WashingtonAlpha Blondy, as usual, gave an excellent show...reggae, african and rock merging nicely. Someof his old music and some new. It was great to see Ivorians singing along to lyrics in their language as well as in French. The opening band ws such a great surprise. They should be hired to be a main act, that's how good they were. I loved the cover songs of Dennis Brown, took me back to the years of Reggae Sunsplash. Met new friends and all in all had a fabulous time.
