Loved Alok, and Eve
by Chester on 7/2/25Théâtre Beanfield - MontrealRating: 5 out of 5Alok was what I expected: engaged, smart, poetic, philosophical, funny (poker face), i like. I was impressed by the lenght of the "poem", good memory. What i did not expect, because it never happens to me, was being a little star struck when they came on stage. I want to know about the next show. If i could have, i would have also went to Ottawa, to make sure i understood everything, it was 2 hours of non stop material. My brain took two two-minute breaks. I had not registered that there was an opening act. Eve Parker Finley was hilarious. Great discovery, and they're from here (Montreal, my area). The venue offered many transportation possibikities. Lot's of street parking, free on Sunday. All good. Inside, i paid more to be close, but the first seats (chairs) we're a little low, neck jerker. The chairs were comfortable enough. All and all, so glad i went. Let's get him back with a new show. Keep me posted.
