  • So good.

Funny, engaging, authentic, worth every penny. Cannot recommend enough.

  • No mic or sound check?

by Soundboard on 10/26/25Rialto Theater - TacomaRating: 4 out of 5

Alok was amazing and a sight to behold. But the mic and sound did them no justice! It was not catching the sound of their voice or words they spoke. Many of us were straining to hear what Alok was saying! That was the big disappointment. Was there no mic or sound check before the show? Who the heck was handling that? They did not do their job

  • Alok was inspirational, thoughtful and hilarious!

Old theater with very limited concessions. Comfortable though and every seat seems to have a great view.

  • Exactly what we needed

by Marcy on 10/26/25Rialto Theater - TacomaRating: 5 out of 5

A hilarious, moving, restorative experience. Alok is a genius! The whole fashionable gender non-confirming sold-out crowd was in the palm of their hand, laughing and crying. Highly recommend!!

  • Fabulous Night

by KB on 10/26/25Rialto Theater - TacomaRating: 5 out of 5

Alok is incredible. As always, they are dressed to perfection, speaking their truth honestly and vulnerable, while making us laugh at the absurd life the patriarchy wants to box us in with. Thank you, Alok, for a very enjoyable evening!!

  • A good 'ol Queer time

by A-a-ron on 10/13/25New Jersey Performing Arts Center - NewarkRating: 5 out of 5

Our showing was extra special because we had a musical guest opener, and also Kal Penn did his first ever stand up set. Alok's set was great and funny. We also go a bonus chat where Kal Penn asked Alok some questions and Alok gave intelligent and insightful answers as always.

  • Amazing human being!

  • A life-changing (and hilarious) experience

by JH on 9/14/25Knitting Factory - Boise - BoiseRating: 5 out of 5

Alok is gorgeous, and I’m not just talking about their outfit. So grateful they came to Boise—we live on this angry red island and it was glorious to bask in their kaleidoscope of colors and know the rainbow hasn’t forgotten us. I laughed hysterically and cried quietly, sometimes all in the same moment. They spoke to my soul, but you don’t have to be queer to be touched by this kind (and devastatingly witty) sage. If you’re trying to decide whether to go to an Alok show, I promise there is not a more enlightening and enlivening way to suspend an evening. Even if you’re cis, even if you’re straight… no matter where you live on the spectrum of humanity, I highly recommend spending some time with Alok. I know I’ll be waiting to hear of the click of their heels coming back through the Boise airport—hopefully soon.

  • Thought provoking show

by Velvet hammer on 7/2/25Théâtre Beanfield - MontrealRating: 5 out of 5

Beautiful space to hold the show opening act was truly funny and thought-provoking and Alok was wonderful inspirational, and a little gut wrenching at times to listen to his despair on how he feels and I just wanted to go up and hug him
