The game...fantastic. The stadium...amazing. The event experience....great (love the fireworks). The food and beverage options....top notch. The staff and security...Great customer ambassadors. BUT the traffic control was a nightmare. Unclear signage. No clear direction in the email that came preparing us for the event. The traffic snarls were much messier than required. And the folks inside the stadium parking areas didn't appear prepared, either for our arriving or our leaving. Take a look at Sofi Stadium parking operations and steal what you can. I attended a sold out Rolling Stones concert that was much easier to navigate and more efficiently handled than this. Larger stadium, arguably more unruly crowd. Plus it was L.A. (need I say more). Took my 5 stars down to a 4. I'd give it a 3 but I want to look forward to more rugby in future. This was my first match!
Great game, i used to live in Australia and have seen the All-Blacks plays many times (sue me, living in Australia, but an All Blacks fan) in Australia, but this is the first time seeing them play at my true home... San Diego
First time to be in a crowd of 33,000, our only disappointment was that we could not take our bucket of kava inside.
The All Black's game was awesome. Starry rugby, buzzing crowd, cool stadium. But it took 2 hrs from downtown SD to get parked at the game, meaning that a lot of people didn't get there on time. This bad parking management by Snapdragon stadium was a real let down.
The All Blacks vs Fiji game was awesome! Great crowd, great experience. Hope they return to Snapdragon stadium again.
I waited 1hr-45mins in line only to learn they had sold out of everything that I was interested in buying. Luckily the only other merchandise location had a couple items that I wanted still left to purchase.
Well organized event. Lovely and helpful team on the ground. High level performance from both teams. Delicious food options. Maybe try to find a workaround the long queues.
Snapdragon stadium hosted a showcase game between Fiji and the All Blacks. We has great seats, in a nearly new stadium. Game was a bit one sided in All Blacks favour but entertaining game to watch
Snapdragon Stadium and the All Blacks vs Fiji rugby game was awesome. Snapdragon has good food and beverage selection. Great views from anywhere in the stadium. The bad, no horrible. Whoever organized the merchandise booths for the game should be fired. A first year college marketing student could have done a better job. The merchandise booths were extremely undermanned. They appeared exhausted and it came across in their poor attitude. There should have been twice as many booths inside of the stadium and at least 4-5 outside of the stadium. Not enough merchandise available. Most of the booths ran out of t-shirts by halftime. Had there been pop up merchandise events in the days leading up to the game, I would have bought shirts and hats to wear to the game. The average wait in line at the merchandise booths was 40 minutes which is far too long. That is half of the game. Really poor job organizing the merchandise sales. I spent about $100 on merchandise, but had they been fully stocked I would have spent over $200.
