This event was awesome, finally have the opportunity to see one of the most important teams in any sport was something special. The stadium was full with people from everywhere, I spoke with people who flew from the east coast to be in the game. People who drove from Mexico to be there. This was a once in a lifetime event. Bring more rugby!
San Diego did a fantastic job of hosting the Allblacks vs Fiji rugby match. The venue was perfect. Clean, easy to get to by public transportation, great options for food and drinks. The entertainment and vendors outside the stadium made for a wonderful few hours leading up to when the gates opened. Here's hoping they host more international rugby matches in the future.
Awesome atmosphere and great stadium. The crowd was awesome.
Despite the appearance from the score, an amazing game played passionately by both sides in Snapdragon which is a world class stadium. Bring back test rugby to San Diego soon!
The venue is very sunny so bring a hat and sun screen. The facility is beautiful and food choices are great.
It was great seeing world class rugby with so much energy. Food and drinks are so expensive though!
Absolutely horrific experience when it came to the parking at Snapdragon. No sense of urgency or true organization - really disappointing. The stadium looked cool, but a lot of the vendors sold out of drinks or didn't have enough cups to sustain the night. Not really sure if this stadium is ready for people.
It was such a fun event. Coming down from Portland it was worth the quick trip to see them play.
I came to watch and be entertained by watching one of the best rugby teams play in the world. Instead I was subjected to loud obnoxious music at each stoppage of play with panning of the crowd on the screen instead of the players lining up for a scrum Or line out. Rarely were replays shown , instead shots over and over again of the crowd. People seemed more interested in clamoring for getting on camera than actually watching the game. To me it symbolizes how Americans can’t just sit there and be in the moment - they need to be constantly entertained. Out seats had good views but for the cost , we had access to the west club. It literally meant nothing. There was no complimentary food , and the costs were expensive ( $18 for a 16oz beer ). We paid 350$ per seat ! In comparison we paid $185 for field seats for the USA vs Scotland the week before and had a buffet and all you could drink 🍺. To be fair we decided we wouldn’t attend any games no matter the teams due to the cost and the music ( which really ruined the experience and atmosphere for us ) at Snapdragon stadium again.
It was an amazing match between the All Blacks and Fiji, the stadium was well equipped to handle the the crowds who converged to watch the match. I would love to attend this venue again for a similar match.
Great Time Watching The New Zealand all blacks take on Fiji last Friday at snapdragon Stadium. The rugby was great as was the atmosphere. My only complaint is that parking egress and egress out of snapdragons stadium leaves a lot to be desired. The stadium itself is fine and the concessions were OK. But they really need to make parking and leaving the facility more efficient.
Perfect night to watch world class rugby and a dominating performance by the All Blacks. Snapdragon Stadium is a very nice venue. Concessions were well staffed and well run.
