It was fun to go to my first rugby game, but it was not competitive at all. It was line the junior varsity playing against the varsity. Furthermore, the line to get a drink was ridiculously long! I went to get a drink at halftime and missed most of the second half of the game because I was still in line!
Great match, well done Fijian's in a losing cause. The mighty AB's did it again!
The rugby and venue were fantastic! Beautiful stadium with lots of concessions, great field views.
My family and I are HUGE Rugby fans. Seeing them play at our local stadium was memorable. It was better than expected. I hope they come back soon.
Great venue awesome atmosphere well run event 👍. Especially the tail gate pre game BBQ and drinks we could learn alot from that great stuff 😀
To see the ALL BLACKS and Fiji Team live in this thrilling atmosphere was for us a once in a lifetime event. Coming from Germany, it is very special to see these guys!!
The match and stadium were great. The parking situation was beyond abysmal. Limited availability and no signage whatsoever. For a major stadium, it was the worst parking situation I’ve encountered. This terrible situation caused half of our party to miss the first 10 minutes of the match.
We had so much fun! Both teams were great. So glad I was able to watch the Haka live!
We were so excited to see the All Blacks vs Fiji Rugby match at Snapdragon Stadium – a once-in-a-lifetime experience! 5 stars for the match, 0 stars for parking. We arrived at the stadium over an hour early at 6:15 for a 7:30 start but ended up stuck in our car for 90 minutes just waiting to get into the pre-paid parking via Friars Road – the way the event's parking map directed us. The match itself was amazing, and our seats were fantastic – worth the splurge for such a special event. We missed all the pre-match ceremonies, the flyover, both teams' haka, and a chunk of the first half while sitting in our car waiting to get in. Snapdragon Stadium’s parking staff needs to step up their game. There should be clearer signs with real time updates on the roads and better traffic flow into the lots – the venue has been open a year and has already had many sold-out events to address this issue. We were devasted to miss so much of the event we had been eagerly anticipating.
Had a great time. Only complaint was the food service was a bit slow
Great match great folks in attendance that was a fun filled day and look forward to more rugby and good luck to all blacks with this new team
International Rugby, Culture, history, and a taste of the world, combined with sport!
This review is strictly related to the stadium seating - worst seats and experience ever! Absolutely the most uncomfortable seats I have ever experienced - you are packed in so tightly it is not even worth going… especially for the amount that was paid. Don’t do it!
The game was physical and fast move. We had great seats up high for a perfect view. Very good crowd which also enjoyed the game. The game flows so much better than the NFL. Would definently watch another Rugby Game at Snapdragon.
An amazing rugby game on US soil. Being from New Zealand I of course knew this would be an epic game of the mighty All Blacks against the Flying Fijians. Did not disappoint and Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego was a perfect venue to host this. Didn’t matter where your seat was, you had a great view of the game. The tailgating before the game, to the atmosphere and to the game brought on an amazing day for all. Even American friends who had never seen an International rugby game before absolutely loved it!!! Hopefully we will see more games like this in the USA.
Not a bad seat in the house. Just need to pave the parking lot… a real dust bowl.
A fantastic and culturally enriching experience I'm a full stadium. New Zealand All Black v Fiji was a fun incredible time and the most well behaved set of fans gathered together to celebrate Rugby and camaraderie along cultural lines. A real polynesian spirit of fun and enjoyment for all the fans gathered in San Diego to watch such a wonderful match. Everyone had an amazing time!
What a great game day experience! I took the lightrail to the game. Walked around. Then stood in line for maybe 3 minutes to get inside. That went really smooth. The game was fantastic and seemed to go smooth without any trouble. My seat was great. Leaving was crowded, slow, but smooth. Getting a ticket for the lightrail took 5 minutes. After walking up to the platform it took 5 to 7 minutes before the next train showed up. It was packed, but people were great & courteous. The whole night went great!!! Plus the All Blacks won!
We had dreamt of going to New Zealand for an All Blacks match. Then the opportunity came up for us to travel 500 miles and see them in San Diego. We still would like to New Zealand, someday.
