ALEX SENSATION IN CONCERT:
Superstar DJ and New York radio personality Alex Sensation is one of Caribbean music's biggest champions, bringing his signature blend of bachata, merengue, and electronica to clubs around the world. Whether he's laying it down at a community festival or raising the roof at a sports arena, fans lucky enough to catch Alex on tour in 2014 can expect a rhythm-filled night of dancing to cutting-edge Latin dance music. Returning to Madison Square Garden in 2014 for his annual La Mega Mezcla Live showcase, Alex will be joined by some of Latin music's hottest acts including Wisin, Plan B, and Sean Paul.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Columbian-born Alex Sensation immigrated to the US at a young age, getting his start as a DJ in his teens and landing a job at New York City's legendary Copacabana Club by age 17. Attracting the attention of radio impresario Tony Luna, Alex began mixing on the air, landing a gig as the main DJ of La Mega 97.9 FM's popular "La Mega Mezcla del Mediodia" program. Honing a unique mix of Caribbean-influenced sounds, Alex became one of the Northeast's hottest Latin club DJs. Six years later, he remains La Mega 97.9's most popular DJ, continuing to bring together the brightest talent in Latin music at the annual La Mega Mezcla Live featuring Alex Sensation and Friends concert.

In the past, Alex has done a great job with the artists he promotes. However, this concert felt like I was at a middle school talent show. The classics Rkm y KenY, Baby Rasta & Gringo, were as usual, amazing. Anitta put everyone to sleep. Thank goodness for Yandel and Uzuna for getting the fans back on their feet.
The right of the stage had NO SOUND. The concert had already begun before the sound improved a little. The audio was inaudible a lot of the time. I'm so disappointed with the experience. What's the sense of attending a CONCERT if you can't hear it???? Overall, I'll never attend another event at the prudential center ever again.
Another event for the culture. Well excited. No hicips. Sound and vibe was perfect. Love to keep coming back to these year after year and they keep getting better. Amazing job Alex!
Enjoyed the show. However the sound in section 209 was HORRIBLE. As if I was under water straining my ears to hear. Had to go back and forth with guest services to change our seats due to poor sound speakers not working in entire side (After an hour) Everyone was sitting down. Miserable. I took initiative and complained then switched our 3 seats . Also 2 artists were no show. Not nice. Other than that had a great time overall some ppl also went to seats unassigned to them. Not nice. Wish Alex would have opened and closed the show not give us 20 minutes. Love Alex but……..I was expecting MORE. Of him. I hear him everyday !
Great variety on the second half of the show. Production quality was mid but the acts were great
I’m a huge fan of Alex and watch him faithfully on Saturday nights while he’s live on YouTube but I expected to see him on stage longer than 30 minutes doing his thing. 😩 ozuna stole the show at the very end ❤️
First and foremost I would like to say that Alex Sensation is one of the best DJs out there. I attend every year his show that he does in prudential or MSG. My only issue is that the sound quality of event was horrible up to Rakim y Ken Y. I sat in section 114 which was pretty close to the stage. From Rakim y Ken Y the sound quality was great. Before Rakim Y Ken Y we could barely hear what the performers were saying prior to Rakim Y Ken Y. The sound quality was terrible and as a fan who attends these events yearly I was disappointed for the first half of the show. Elvis Martínez, La Banda Típica, Darell, Rakim y Ken Y, Young Miko, Anitta, Yandel, and Ozuna were amazing.
12/02/23 was my first time ever going to a alex sensation event and when I tell ya just go GO ! It was so much fun! Played the best music brought out so many great artists for mega bash! Vibe was incredible!!! Thank u for the experience

I was ver happy with all the artists that Alex Sensation brought and their performance was excellent. I had the best time of my life and I want to give thanks to Alex for all he does to makes his fans happy.
I appreciate the radio station getting a select group of artists to entertain us. Nothing to brag about, a fun evening.

Great experience and performances. Employees were friendly. Though the audience some people were standing for a long time which made the audiences view behind them very uncomfortable where we were forced to get up to see or to move around the seats to find a better view.

I had high expectations about this even but I was not a good experience to me the sound was horrible the lighting almost blind me a lot of the artists were unknown to me I pay $255 dollars and I regret spending it on this even . I’ve heard good reviews from previous Mega Bash even but this one did not have good selection of artists . The only artists I knew was Nicky Jam and Maluma the others no clue who they were . 🥱😤😫👎🏻
