Alanis Morissette established herself as the foremost female singer-songwriter of the 1990s with her 16-time platinum-certified third album Jagged Little Pill, released in 1995. The Ottawa, Ontario native had already released her 1991 debut Alanis and 1992’s Now Is the Time before graduating high school and moving to Los Angeles, where Morrisette began to develop Jagged Little Pill. After its release, Jagged Little Pill gained steam behind singles like “You Oughta Know,” “Hand in My Pocket,” “Ironic” and “You Learn,” propelling the album to Morissette’s first of three consecutive No. 1s on the Billboard 200. At the 1996 Grammys, she claimed four trophies including Album of the Year, Best Rock Album and Best Rock Song for “You Oughta Know.” The album has sold more than 33 million copies worldwide, and remains one of the all-time best-selling albums in the U.S. 1998’s Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie and 2002’s Under Swept Rug followed, led by singles like “Thank U” and “Hands Clean.” In 2018, Morissette debuted the musical Jagged Little Pill, which reimagines her catalog while adding several new, original compositions, and the production moved to Broadway a year later — landing 15 Tony nominations and two wins as well as a Grammy for Best Musical Theater Album. Morisette then released her ninth and tenth studio albums, 2020’s Such Pretty Forks in the Road and 2022’s The Storm Before the Calm.

Awesome show, she has great presence on stage...loved every second!
It was the best show, she was great. Alanis sounded and looked amazing!
Alanis was the best concert I have ever been to. She was an amazing performer along with her band and there was not a bad seat in the house! I would see her again in a heart beat.
Alanis was and is everything I want in a music artist. He rocked the whole show and I cannot wait to see her in concert again. Her passion and peoetic lyrics are something that are hard to find in today's music industry. I would recommend going to see her in concert to anyone. She rocks my world and I love her and her music!! :)
Alanis was superb and the venue was fanastic! Her vocals are so great that her live Performance sounds just as good as her studio albums. I would definitely recommend seeing her live.
was so looking forward to see ALANIS MORISSETTE at the paramount but was really disappointed with the quality of the sound, she put on a great show but sitting in upper mezz ($65.00) we could not here her words at all to any of the songs, at first i thought it was me but checked with peps to left and right and they said the same thing! also got a jerkey bartender at bar, for 12.00 a drink a little friendly service would be nice.
There's no other way to say it, Alanis is always a great show. She's so completely committed to he music. Amazing lyrics, unique, gorgeous voice, a must every time she's in SD.
Alanis delivers every single performance. I have seen her at least 5 or 6 times now and still walk away from her shows spellbound and enchanted with her delivery.
