Alanis Morissette established herself as the foremost female singer-songwriter of the 1990s with her 16-time platinum-certified third album Jagged Little Pill, released in 1995. The Ottawa, Ontario native had already released her 1991 debut Alanis and 1992’s Now Is the Time before graduating high school and moving to Los Angeles, where Morrisette began to develop Jagged Little Pill. After its release, Jagged Little Pill gained steam behind singles like “You Oughta Know,” “Hand in My Pocket,” “Ironic” and “You Learn,” propelling the album to Morissette’s first of three consecutive No. 1s on the Billboard 200. At the 1996 Grammys, she claimed four trophies including Album of the Year, Best Rock Album and Best Rock Song for “You Oughta Know.” The album has sold more than 33 million copies worldwide, and remains one of the all-time best-selling albums in the U.S. 1998’s Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie and 2002’s Under Swept Rug followed, led by singles like “Thank U” and “Hands Clean.” In 2018, Morissette debuted the musical Jagged Little Pill, which reimagines her catalog while adding several new, original compositions, and the production moved to Broadway a year later — landing 15 Tony nominations and two wins as well as a Grammy for Best Musical Theater Album. Morisette then released her ninth and tenth studio albums, 2020’s Such Pretty Forks in the Road and 2022’s The Storm Before the Calm.

great concert! love alanis morissette! she rocks big time!
It was a dream come true - Alanis at Humphrey's - two of my favorites put together! Alanis continues to sound exactly like her albums. She entertained the crowd with some old "standby" favorites as well as her newer material. I am most grateful that I saw this show!
I loved the concert!! She is very energetic and has such a great voice!!! One of the best concerts ever for sure!!
Alanis gets the crowd rocking. Her backing band is incredible. The sound quality of the vocals need to be enhanced and fine-toned but a good show.
What a special evening of great music and emotion! The audience clearly loves Alanis and she sure gave us all a special evening of her tunes and talent. Her band is awesome too! Can't wait to see her again.
She was so great!!! I have never seen her live before and I would for sure go again. Humphrey's is the best venue for any concert...
i have been to alot of concerts in my day and this was by far the worse concert i have ever seen. The band over powered her voice so that you couldnt even hear her. Im upset i spent money on the tickets.
Great performance, lots of energy, great sound but...what's with the set list? 8 amazing records to choose from and she sang almost every song off of Jagged Little Pill. It was like the Jagged Little Pill tour with a couple of new songs thrown in. Disappointed in the set list.
Alanis has a great voice and she rocks! I am so glad I went to the show and I can't wait to see her again!!
Lifelong resident to the AC ar, first time to the house of blues. I will be back !! Great venue to see your favorite artistup close and perosnal. Alanis was amazing and full of energy !!
couldn't wait to see her at the House of Blues in AC and she did not disappoint. Her vocals were excellent and her band jammed to perfection. Speaks volumes when you do not have or need background vocals at a show.
very intimate crowd. standing room only. she performed most of my favorites. Very organized and well behaved crowd. Sound was great. Lighting was great.
Very good concert. She puts a good show. Thank you
Nothing like her shows. She is perfect live and perfection personified on Howard stern. Since jagged little pill always a fan.
The show really was amazing! I was so impressed with how Alanis still sounded like she did back in the 90s! She kept the crowd singing and smiling and having a great time! Not only was she great, but her band was pretty amazing too. They had some killer energy and were quite entertaining to watch.
Alanis was amazing, her performance was just impeccable
House of Blues is a great location, Alanis was amazing! She sounds just like her CDs!
She was amazing! The venue was good, the sound was good, she rocked!
Awesome concert and venue!!!! Love Alanis and I was pleasantly surprised that she sang all the old songs and some new ones!
My first time at the Paramount. The venue was really cool, not a bad seat in the house, But would never want to stand on the lower level for an entire show. Alanis sounded really good from what you could hear of her,the music drowned out a lot of her voice. Going tonight to see Stone Temple Pilots so I hope that problem is rectified.
