About

With their 40th anniversary at hand in 2013, legendary country band Alabama embarked on their first tour in more than a decade and released an officially endorsed tribute album titled "Alabama and Friends." The album features current country stars covering some of Alabama's country-rock classics -- including Kenny Chesney on "Lady Down on Love," Jason Aldean on "Tennessee River," Luke Bryan on "Love in the First Degree," and the Eli Young Band on "The Closer You Get" -- along with two new Alabama songs. It was a fitting tribute for the most successful band in country music history,  which logged 34 singles that topped Billboard's country singles chart between 1980 and 2011 and has sold more than 75 million albums. The band's core remains the same as when it was founded in 1969, when they were known as Wildcountry: Randy Owen (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), his cousin Teddy Gentry (bass), and another cousin, Jeff Cook (lead guitar, keyboards, fiddle). By 1973, the trio had decided to pursue music full time and they signed their first record deal -- and changed their name to The Alabama Band at the label's request -- in 1977.  By the '80s, the band had hit its stride, moving huge numbers of concert tickets and filling their trophy cases with multiple Grammy, CMA and ACM awards.

  • Great show by a legendary group!

    by Bookwoman1019 on 11/25/25The Santander Arena - ReadingRating: 5 out of 5

Alabama was excellent, as they always are. Lorrie Morgan was good, a little sad that she was only out for 45 minutes, but that's okay. Alabama still has it! Was sorry to see the numerous empty seats, though.

Was amazing, unfortunately we had to leave shortly after it started because the lights triggered a migraine

  • FANTASTIC!

by DonnaC on 11/25/25The Santander Arena - ReadingRating: 5 out of 5

Lorrie Morgan was great! ALABAMA was very emotional and energetic! This was the first time I saw both entertainers and it was well worth the trip into Reading! I am so glad to have had the opportunity to witness the greatest country band of all time! Even though the group is getting up in years they put on a FANTASTIC show!

  • Aging Alabama

by Bob Q on 11/24/25The Santander Arena - ReadingRating: 4 out of 5

Like all great acts and people, there is no way to stop aging. That is where Alabama is now. They did their best to entertain, but the voices are not as strong. So they had the audience sing along and tell stories to eat up time. Still entertaining but this will probably be my last Alabama show.

Alabama was awful except the band was good but the lead and singing were terrible. Lorrie Morgan was really good.

  • Wonderful Concert

I have been an Alabama fan for many years I was very glad to see Alabama in concert!

  • Aging bandmembers exceeded expectations.

    by JeffH21 on 11/24/25The Santander Arena - ReadingRating: 5 out of 5

Although I thoroughly enjoy Alabama's music, I wasn't sure how the 3 aging bandmembers would perform during a live performance. Randy, Teddy, and Jeff certainly exceeded my expectations. Alabama played for over 2 hours. Megan Mullins-Owen, Randy's daughter-in-law, was the fiddle player and she nailed it especially during a 2 minute solo display of her amazing talent. Having Lorrie Morgan open for them certainly started the show off on the right note (pun intended). I highly recommend seeing Alabama live again or for the first time.

The night was magic epically for My wife who has followed them for 43 years. Thank you for a night both of us will never forget.

Some friends and I stayed at a local hotel and walked to the venue. We have seen Alabama before and this concert was just as good as the ones before. They are talented and put on a great show!

  • Great show, wonderful time

by Brandon on 11/18/25Simmons Bank Arena - North Little RockRating: 5 out of 5

The atmosphere at an Alabama concert is surreal. This iconic band with their legendary set list bring the 80’s and 90’s country music scene back to life. The crowd participation is incredible and the band doesn’t disappoint. The Marshal Tucker Band performed awesomely as well. They belted out their classic hits and were a great blast from the past. I would definitely recommend this show and would love to see it again.

  • Best group ever

by Cissy on 11/18/25Simmons Bank Arena - North Little RockRating: 5 out of 5

I bought tickets in July for my favorite band of all time! I broke my back in four places in September and all my PT recovery was for getting fit enough to go see Alabama. I know Randy is getting a little slower but I love their music. The young lady on the fiddle was so amazing! Praying for good health while they enjoy entertaining their fans! Lots of love for them.

  • Loved it

Concert was awesome , we took two of our grandkids and they loved both bands !! Wish there would have been two places to buy t shirts. That line was forever long . It was as nice that we could order On line but taking that t-shirt home in hand is part of the experience !! Again the bands were awesome , and seating was good !!

  • Alabama concert was great

by Tina on 11/18/25Simmons Bank Arena - North Little RockRating: 5 out of 5

My husband loved Alabama. He passed away in May. When I saw that Alabama was going to be at the Simmons Bank Arena, I told my kids that the tickets would've been the perfect Christmas gift for him. I bought 2 tickets, but couldn't get anyone to go with me. I held a picture of my husband during the concert.

  • Amazing as always!

Best group around and I have seen a lot of groups perform. Alabama has a heart of gold and loves their fans! This was shown in Little Rock Saturday night! The opening honoring USA was amazing!! Alabama you have had my heart since the early 89’s.
