  • A blast from the past

by Oldmusiclover on 4/5/25Birchmere - AlexandriaRating: 5 out of 5

This was a terrific show. Al playing a lot of his older stuff, a few Return To Forever numbers, a couple of newer, and a very nice short acoustic stuff as well. It was nice to hear music being played live like this again.

  • Amazing Show

2.5 hours of exceptional musicians doing their thing!!! Di Meola is one of the all-time great guitar players. See this show before he retires.

  • Al and band brought the fire Tuesday night

by Tom from South Joisey on 4/4/25The Vogel at Count Basie Center for the Arts - Red BankRating: 5 out of 5

i love the Vogel. Small venue. Great sound. Al Di Meola and his stellar ensemble were incredible. Playing material spanning Al's entire career. Two solid hours of music with an intermission. Just a mind blowing evening.

  • AMAZING Experience!

    by Dave S. on 2/28/25Rating: 5 out of 5

I've been a huge fan (since the early 1980's) of Al DiMeola (and of course John McLaughlin and the late great Paco DeLucia). First exposed to him on vinyl (Passion, Grace and fire). Having never had the opportunity to see any of them perform live it never broke my heart. This evening changed that. If you haven't EXPERIENCED Al DiMeola performing live, I'd STRONGLY urge you to do so! Their respective volume of recordings filled my life for years, but all pale in comparison to experiencing him live! It was an distinct honor to experience Al play live here in our little town (Newton,NJ)!! Seeing Al perform here in Newton NJ was even more outstanding than I ever imagined. Once in a lifetime experience. Indulge yourself at any cost. You won't regret it!

My friend and I enjoyed the show. The Parker Theater is a great venue for any kind of on stage entertainment.

  • Great music and great artists

by friedmantbo on 1/20/25Wells Hall at The Parker - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

Al Dimeola puts on a great show that had us totally immersed and into the music for almost two hours (with an intermission). It was a pleasure to see a master of his music and instrument perform accompanied by other greats. Parker is a wonderful theater with comfortable seats and great acoustics.

  • Auditory Bliss

by Rob on 1/20/25Wells Hall at The Parker - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

Billed as fifty years of Land Of The Midnight Sun, Al Di Meola's performance at the Parker Playhouse on Jan 17, 2025 was stellar. From the very first note, to the impromptu sing along, to the very last beat, the energy of Mr. Meola and his alumni band was infectious. His two sets encapsulated his long career, starting with Return to Forever through his electric years, as well as his classical Spanish acoustic pieces and back to his electric fusion. It was a night for fusion heads. If you are into Chick Corea/Return to Forever and even the stylings of Santana, then you are in for a real treat. Do not miss Al's show. He is very engaging, and he keeps his ticket prices reasonable for the love of music.

Tremendous band. Too much guitar. Not enough melody.
