AJR IN CONCERT:

New York-based brother band AJR is generating significant buzz with their unique blend of barbershop harmonies, dubstep beats, and internet-savvy lyrical references. The trio's success with debut single "I'm Ready" has inevitably drawn comparisons to fellow brother outfit Hanson, but AJR's eclectic sound and DIY approach put them in a category all their own. From bright handclaps and playful samples to energetic ukulele and guitar strumming, AJR have crafted an endlessly creative sound that always leaves fans wanting more on their unforgettable tours. 

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

AJR is comprised of brothers Adam, Jack, and Ryan Met. The native New Yorkers got their start as street performers, playing covers of songs by the Beach Boys and Vampire Weekend in parks around Manhattan. The brothers released their  debut single "I'm Ready" in 2013, tweeting it out to a number of celebrities in the hopes of getting discovered. The tactic worked -- the song caught the eye of SIA, who helped AJR secure a management deal. As the group's reputation continued to grow, they made their first TV appearances with performances on Good Day New York and VH1's Big Morning Buzz show. In late 2013 AJR released the I'm Ready EP, a solid debut that earned them opening slots on tour with big-name acts like Demi Lovato and the Wanted. A rising young act with talent to the gills, AJR have ticket buyers eagerly awaiting their upcoming tour dates.

    AJR is the best live show of 2024!

    Seven of us (ages 12-46) attended AJR. For most of us, this was our second AJR show. And we can’t imagine a better show! These brothers spread joy and connection through music like no other! Epic lights and videos! Epic scenes! Just epic, epic, epic. We were in the pit dancing our faces off and I looked around to see every person in the stadium standing up for this band. Just. The. Best. Ever. When’s the next show!??? We adore AJR and feel blessed to be able to afford tickets to get that close. Our kids are so inspired that they want to form a band this summer. So inspiring!!!

    AJR always puts on the BEST show! I don’t know how, but they continue to top themselves! They get better and better each time that we see them and we’ve seen them four times now! They always interact with the audience, include surprises, and just blow you away during each set! 10000/10 Cannot recommend enough! One of the best performers out there! Pure genius!

    We took my son for his first show to see AJR. We have been listening to them for quite some time. I don’t know how any other show will live up to this one! The Maybe Man tour was full of surprises, amazing production, sound and video. We will absolutely see them every time they are in Jacksonville, Florida.

    AJR put on a show! My son and I were both sad to have the concert end. We both want to see them again this summer. After the show, the crowds leaving the auditorium were so happy. We could hear people talking about wanting to see the again as well!

    We loved the AJR Maybe Man Tour! It was everything we hoped for and more. The music, the instrument showcases, and the showmanship were all spectacular.
