AJR IN CONCERT:
New York-based brother band AJR is generating significant buzz with their unique blend of barbershop harmonies, dubstep beats, and internet-savvy lyrical references. The trio's success with debut single "I'm Ready" has inevitably drawn comparisons to fellow brother outfit Hanson, but AJR's eclectic sound and DIY approach put them in a category all their own. From bright handclaps and playful samples to energetic ukulele and guitar strumming, AJR have crafted an endlessly creative sound that always leaves fans wanting more on their unforgettable tours.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
AJR is comprised of brothers Adam, Jack, and Ryan Met. The native New Yorkers got their start as street performers, playing covers of songs by the Beach Boys and Vampire Weekend in parks around Manhattan. The brothers released their debut single "I'm Ready" in 2013, tweeting it out to a number of celebrities in the hopes of getting discovered. The tactic worked -- the song caught the eye of SIA, who helped AJR secure a management deal. As the group's reputation continued to grow, they made their first TV appearances with performances on Good Day New York and VH1's Big Morning Buzz show. In late 2013 AJR released the I'm Ready EP, a solid debut that earned them opening slots on tour with big-name acts like Demi Lovato and the Wanted. A rising young act with talent to the gills, AJR have ticket buyers eagerly awaiting their upcoming tour dates.

amazon. flawless. phenomenal. best show ever. incredible talent, perfect execution.
the venue was great. It was easy to find and the ticket process was painless.
The entire environment had great energy all night. I enjoyed the variety of standing/sitting available at the venue. Would have liked to see the merch not right by the exit as traffic backed up and caused safety concerns. We had a great time!
One of the best concerts I've ever attended. The warm up act Tessa Violet did an amazing job at getting the crowd going and interacting. AJR's performance was very enjoyable and amazing to watch, it was well planned and fun for the entire audience. Cabt wait to see them again!
the crowd was decently large, but the concert itself was exciting and one of the best ones i've been to yet. ajr's energy was exceeding my expectations, and the music sounded better than recording.
This concert was the best i've ever seen with special effects like no other. It really makes you forget everything and just enjoy yourself while going crazy and being entranced by the show
My daughter is a huge AJR fan and absolutely loved this concert! The show was high energy and got the crowd to their feet. The only complaint would be the restroom situation, porta potties are no fun. But other than that, loved the concert!
The stir venue is great and we had a PERFECT night for an outdoor concert. AJR stepped out and delivered! Thoughtful, energetic and pitch perfect, the band left every audience member exhilarated! They have a terrific stage experience and we all felt an integral part of the performance! The stage show is beautifully choreographed with interactive, "techy" surprises around every corner. Could not recommend The Neotheater Tour MORE!
This was of my daughters first concerts of a band she loved. It really was a GREAT show. They had great effects and the way they interacted with the large screen was entertaining. As we were leaving she turned to me and said she felt euphoric and didn't want the night to end. Def worth the money. We'll see AJR again!
Everything about this concert was amazing. Their true talent really shows in all of their songs. The choreography was top notch and the dancing even though is silly made the concert a lot more energetic. I also really loved how interactive they were with their crowd like stopping their songs to talk to us.
Was a great time! I was hoping AJR would have performed awhile longer. Kinda a short show I thought. But still had fun.
The concert was great and the venue was very nice. Getting out of yhe parking garage was a pain.
The AJR brothers put on a show like I've never experienced. Everything about it was unique and clearly thought through. From start to finish my jaw was dropped and I couldn't believe what was happening. If you are considering going to a concert of theirs you won't regret is and if you have tickets then be prepared to be amazed. I wish I could relive it but I guess I'll just have to go every time they are near me.
The venue was awesome! I did not realize it was going to be outdoors so that was really cool. My only complaint is it would have been a LOT easier for a lot of people to see better if the stage was a couple of feet higher. I was personally about 10-15 rows in and I struggled to see a LOT. The opener was amazing! I personally thought they were way better than AJR's opener from their Click tour. Also I LOVED how many songs they did from their Click album! I absolutely love the Neotheater album, but I was not ready to let go of the Click album. Also the amount of showcase time (especially the solo) that the group gave the trumpet was perfect! The interactive aspect of the show was also amazing. Definitely worth my money and I definitely plan on buying tickets the secondAJR releases their next album.
It was so amazing, the venue was great, and the music was even better. I literally cried
Amazing! The venue was perfect you could sit anywhere and see the stage well. AJR puts on an incredible show I’ve never seen anything like it.
This was an amazing concert experience! AJR brings something to the stage I haven’t ever seen before. Everything from the choreography to the lights was amazing! Tbh I feel like I should’ve payed more for the experience I got!
AJR put on one heck of a show! The only thing that would've made it better is if they could've played longer. They made it fun and I would definitely see them again!!!
Third time seeing AJR and they get better every tour! So much energy. So fun to watch. Sounded awesome! Beautiful night. Fun venue. Great crowd. Wonderful night!
