AJR IN CONCERT:
New York-based brother band AJR is generating significant buzz with their unique blend of barbershop harmonies, dubstep beats, and internet-savvy lyrical references. The trio's success with debut single "I'm Ready" has inevitably drawn comparisons to fellow brother outfit Hanson, but AJR's eclectic sound and DIY approach put them in a category all their own. From bright handclaps and playful samples to energetic ukulele and guitar strumming, AJR have crafted an endlessly creative sound that always leaves fans wanting more on their unforgettable tours.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
AJR is comprised of brothers Adam, Jack, and Ryan Met. The native New Yorkers got their start as street performers, playing covers of songs by the Beach Boys and Vampire Weekend in parks around Manhattan. The brothers released their debut single "I'm Ready" in 2013, tweeting it out to a number of celebrities in the hopes of getting discovered. The tactic worked -- the song caught the eye of SIA, who helped AJR secure a management deal. As the group's reputation continued to grow, they made their first TV appearances with performances on Good Day New York and VH1's Big Morning Buzz show. In late 2013 AJR released the I'm Ready EP, a solid debut that earned them opening slots on tour with big-name acts like Demi Lovato and the Wanted. A rising young act with talent to the gills, AJR have ticket buyers eagerly awaiting their upcoming tour dates.

My 12 year old son is a fan. I bought him, myself and my 17 year old daughter a ticket to the concert in SF. The week before I listen to the album to get familiar with their songs. (Only heard a couple before that) I have to say these guys put on an amazing show!!! I had an awesome time. My daughter said she only knew a couple songs but had a good time as well. 5 stars for AJR!!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Truly an amazing show. This was my third time seeing AJR and it was the best show ive seen from them yet!

this concert was fantastic. with Tessa Violet opening to get the party going, the crowd was super pumped. I will say it took the stage crew almost 45 mins to set up for AJR, but it was well worth the wait. the visuals, lights, enthusiasm, and special effects were all fantastic. I would certainly fly back to S.F to go another concert at Bill Graham in the future. the venue was super clean, and they blocked off the streets so people could cross and line up for admission.
We had such an amazing experience. These young gentlemen are so talented, creative, and full of energy. It wasn't just a concert, it was a show--an experience. SO FUN! I've never been to a concert where there is this much energy in the crowd. We hope we get to see AJR again and again. Felt like we were witnessing the start (or perhaps the continued growth) of something big.
Not only is their music FANTASTIC, they are outstanding showmen. The Lights & multimedia effects were superb. They engaged the audience and we so fun to watch. Even though we chose the mezannine seating, we were on our feet the entire concert. AND their selection of Tessa Violet as their opener was brilliant. We'd go see them AGAIN & AGAIN!
AJR knows how to put on a show. It wasn’t just a concert, it was an experience. If you have the chance to see them in concert, do it! You won’t regret it!

My 11 year old discovered AJR’s music in the background of a video he was watching. He googled them and started listening to their music. When he found out there was a concert, he asked if we (mom & dad) could take him. We enjoyed the concert as much as he did!!! If they come back around again, we will be at their concert!!! Didn’t know anything about Tessa Violet.. and, she was just as awesome!! Great artists!!! The visuals were exceptionally awesome!!!!
AJR is a new band to me, my son wanted to go so I started listening to their music to prepare. Really cool and different so I couldn’t wait to see them live. They were AMAZING! Like listening to the recorded music but live! On point and high energy. Highly recommend!
Very creative stage show using unique special effects and video screen with live interaction from the fellas. Been to this venue a lot and these guys care about their sound quality! Still plenty loud but you could hear all the instruments. Thanks for a great time.
Took our 7 and 11 year old to see their favorite band perform...and they quickly became all our favorite! AJR is so talented and so entertaining - what a show!

the venue was great. It was easy to find and the ticket process was painless.
The entire environment had great energy all night. I enjoyed the variety of standing/sitting available at the venue. Would have liked to see the merch not right by the exit as traffic backed up and caused safety concerns. We had a great time!
One of the best concerts I've ever attended. The warm up act Tessa Violet did an amazing job at getting the crowd going and interacting. AJR's performance was very enjoyable and amazing to watch, it was well planned and fun for the entire audience. Cabt wait to see them again!
