Addams Family (Chicago) Tickets

Addams Family was good, and there were some very funny parts. My family (2 teenagers) enjoyed it, but it felt like a community theater play, not a broadway show. The set was minimal, and nothing exciting as far as effects. It was enjoyable, but not fabulous.

The best thing I have seen since "The Wiz" in the 1970s. I couldn't even try to keep track of all the scenery changes. The lighting operator was the best I've ever sen.

What a pleasure to see talented performers and musicians w/o the need to throw sex all over the place. A good family value play. I can finally take my parents to something entertaining!

The entire family enjoyed the show. All actors did great! Thought the uncle fester, gomez, and wednesday roles were played the best. Kids did not catch some of the refeerences to the old show or to some of the political humor. Recommended.

Adams Family is good fun. Terrific cast, bright and very entertaining. The Cadillac Palace Theatre is absolutely beautiful. Gorgeous interior and very comfortable seating. If you are lucky enough to be in Chicago be sure to book a show at this facility.

We go to a lot of theatre. This was the first show in along time that was just pure enjoyment. The entire audience was happy throughout the performance. Theatre teaches us, it enlightens us, but sometimes I think it forgets the basic job of entertaining us. The Addams Family fulfilled that need.

The play was very well staged. I loved the backdrops. The audio was very good. We could hear almost every word during the songs, although I did miss some things. All in all it was a true musical COMEDY. But why are you asking for us to upload pictures or video? The ushers were very strict about not taking using cameras or phones, even when the play had not started.

After reading about all the negative reviews when this play first came out, I was pleasantly surprised at the performance. The music is nothing special, but the characters and Humor were above average.

The show did not flow very well. Most of the tunes and lyrics were not very catchy. It was just not a very polished production. The cast was good but not great but I don't think they made the best of mediocre material.

Great acting, singing, etc. Made for a wonderful evening. The theater venue is awesome. Had great seats.

As a lover of the Addams Family it was a blessing to be in Chicago at the same time as this show. First broadway show attended and it was an amazing experience. Great vocals, entertaining and funny. Had great seats in the Loge. Would recommend this show to all ages.

The show was awesome. The actors were funny as well as great singers and dancers. Apparently ,the show had been revised from the original broadway show based on a chicago times review . My family was pleasantly surprised with how GREAT the show was.
