Last tour?!?!?
Verizon Center - Washington
Angus ruled the night ... as he always does. Loud, bold and snotty! Axl was on vocally and stepped out of the limelight at just the right time so as not to take away from the legend that is AC/DC. Kudos to Axl for respecting the band and in providing a more than able lead vox. The only negative was that while Axl, ACDC veteran drummer Chris Slade and nephew Stevie Young aptly filled the gaps left by Brian, Phil and Malcom respectively, it just wasn't the same in terms of band chemistry. With Cliff saying that he's done after this tour, I wouldn't be surprised if this was the final tour for ACDC. Only Angus knows for sure! Regardless, would I love to see them again??? Undoubtedly. Can't exactly wear my horns to work...

AC/DC with Axel Rose was awesome!
Verizon Center - Washington
As a long time fan of AC/DC I was very excited for this show. Then when I heard the news about Brian Johnson, I was crushed. Then the rumors started with Axel Rose substituting for Johnson, I was hesitant. I saw G-N-R in July at FedEx field, and Axel was on point. So I headed into the AC/DC show very optimistically. The chemistry on stage with the guys was there, Axel's vocals was there, the show was amazing. I think I could reasonably argue that Axel's performance with AC/DC was a tiny bit better than with G-N-R (which was a killer show itself). If anyone was hesitant about going because of the lack of Brian Johnson, don't, go, you will not regret it. For those about to rock, we salute you.

Went for Axl stayed for the music
Madison Square Garden - New York
I wasn't curious to see AC/DC but the chance to see Axl Rose fronting them was too much to pass. Axl still has the voice and it was made for AC/DC songs. Powerful through all the highs and lows. But there wasn't much "show" there. The bassist and rhythm guitarist were not allowed to leave the drummers side. And when Axl sang, Angus stayed in the background and vice versa. No point for the runway from the stage as it was barely used. But the music! Excellent concert. Not a great one

My eighth time seeing them. Axl was AWESOME. And Angus is well worth seeing again. If this is the last time...then it was GREAT.

Very Good
Verizon Center - Washington
The only thing that could be classified as a negative is the volume level. Yes, we know the music is supposed to be loud, but it was difficult to hear the lyrics. Yes, AC/DC fans should know the lyrics by heart and follow them through memorization. We prefer to hear the lyrics clearly by the group. Other than that the concert was great. The multimedia show was outstanding. The energy was way up there. The band was great. This is still an AC/DC show and not an Axel Rose or GnR concert. Axel was not the front man. He was part of the group and did not take over the show. He knew his place. Axel must be complimented on that. The show was almost three hours and very enjoyable.

Going To School!
Verizon Center - Washington
This is the best concert I have seen in that last 3 three years. And I"m a pretty seasoned concert goer. I must admit that I'm not a hard-core AC/DC and going to the show was more of a 'get them off my bucket list' deal. I was there to hear my five to seven songs and take in the rest. The band, especially Angus, were in top form. His antics were just amazing. Love the signature school boy outfit, and his guitar playing was top notch. The only hiccup by him was not crispy getting the intro to Thunderstruck down, but I'll chalk that up to arthritis. Otherwise, his guitar playing was great. Stage highlights: a descending and pealing bell during 'Hell's Bells', a balloon woman during on the other songs, Angus using the elevated circle at the front of the stage and getting showered with confetti, him playing the guitar with his tie, losing bits of the uniform throughout the show, playing a fifteen minute solo atop the stage, and a battery of cannons (yes they were actually fired) brought during the encore's last song- For Those About Rock...' . It was breath-taking. Axel Rose, guesting on vocals, worked. He know all the words, and engaged the crowd quite well. All in all a great show.

AC/DC with Axel Rose - 4 1/2 stars.
Madison Square Garden - New York
Angus was, as always, the true front man with amazing energy. The entire venue was standing the entire show. LOTS of FUN!!! Axel seemed to be enjoying himself - he looked good and really did a great job of filling in for Brian Johnson. The rest of the band was incredible too - they don't get as much credit as they deserve!
AC/DC IN CONCERT:
With dozens of driving anthems and countless epic concerts under their belt, AC/DC has become one of the most successful and recognizable hard rock bands ever. Powerhouse numbers like "You Shook Me All Night Long," "Highway to Hell," and "Back in Black" get ticket buyers headbanging along from the first few iconic chords, while a pyrotechnic stage show complete with fireworks, Jumbotrons, and stacks of cranked amplifiers ensures the whole arena sees, hears, and feels the thunder from start to finish. Legendary duck-walking guitarist Angus Young keeps crowds pumped with his relentless energy, doling out crushing riffs and lightning-fast licks with swagger to spare. And on the 2016 Rock or Bust Tour, special guest vocalist Axl Rose of Guns N' Roses steps in to lend his trademark range to AC/DC's earth-shaking sound, bringing a new edge to their larger-than-life performances.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Brothers Angus and Malcolm Young got the name AC/DC from the back of their sister Margret's sewing machine ñ the same one she used to sew the campy Catholic schoolboy uniform Angus used to wear on stage. The fledgling hard rockers started making a name for themselves in small Australian clubs in 1973, but things truly started to take off when they hooked up with wild-man singer Bon Scott the following year. Sadly, tragedy struck a few years later following the international success of 1979's Highway to Hell when Scott died after a night of heavy drinking. Encouraged by the support of the late singer's parents, the group doggedly carried on with new frontman Brian Johnson to complete work on their next album, Back in Black. Since its 1980 release, that album has sold an estimated 50 million copies worldwide on the back of quintessential rock staples like "You Shook Me All Night Long," "Hell's Bells," and the title track. The band maintained a steady recording and touring schedule for the next three decades before health issues began to take their toll. First Malcolm Young was forced to retire in 2014 with Parkinson's disease, then hearing loss sidelined Brian Johnson midway through their 2016 Rock or Bust Tour. AC/DC announced that Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose would finish the tour in Johnson's place, while the latter explored hearing aids that would allow him to rejoin the group in the future without further damaging his hearing (happily he noted that he'll still be able to record music). This never-say-die attitude over the past 40 plus years has further glorified AC/DC's legend for fans, who know they'll rock the stage no matter what.
