FANTASTIC show from start to finish 19 songs and no lull---phenominal pace throughout the entire BAND was tight and obviously enjoyed what they were doing Accept played all the 'hits' and alot of album tracks....songs from Breaker, Metal Heart, Balls....,Restless & Wild....even some from Russian Roulette and Objection Overruled

Great show!!!! Accept still have it!!!! Why AC/DC and Metallica made it big and these guys didn't, I'll never know...

Great concert. The opening act Swedish band Sabaton was a big surprise since I did not know them. Accept was flawless and full of energy starting with teutonic terror and closing with balls to the wall. I wonder why this great band was playing in such a small venue and at a somewhat low price. I think they could do much better than that, they deserve better.

  • The heavy metal show to see in 2011 !!!

Awesome show! Sound was great, band played fantastic!

  • True professionals enjoying themselves

by Bolerio on 4/12/11Culture Room - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

This was my favorite show ever. I'm quite biased because I grew up with this band, they were my first metal band, and it's the very first time I've seen them live. Still, to have such great musicians, in such a small setting, literally in front of you, perform with such enthusiasm , energy, precision should be a rewarding experience for any metal fan.

  • Accept/Sabaton melted my face!

    by diggityd78 on 4/11/11Firestone Live - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

Accept with their new frontman Mark Tornillo (ex-TT Quick) did a VERY energetic 23-song concert, at Firestone Live in Orlando, FL. Accept kicked off their set with 2 new songs off of "Blood Of The Nations": Teutonic Terror and Bucket Full Of Hate. Terror was a great opener, and set the pace for the rest of the show. I was anxious to hear how Mark Tornillo complimented older Accept material, sung by former vocalist Udo Dirkschneider. Well, the third song in "Starlight" put my fears to rest. Mark is very charismatic and his voice matched up well with the older material. My wife was entertained by the inter-play between longest-running members Wolff Hoffman (lead guitar) and Peter Baltes (bass). At one point they did dueling guitar vs. bass riffs, that were very entertaining. Accept closed the show with their #1 single "Balls To The Wall" and had the crowd leave VERY happy. Sabaton, a Swedish power metal band, made their 1st North American tour stop a memorable one. All 6 members were clad in matching camouflage pants/black shirts, and their lead singer (Joakim Brodén) bore a striking resemblance to retired UFC fighter Chuck Lidell. Their music was power metal (2 guitars, bass, drums, keyboards - in the vein of Rammstein) and the lyrical content cenetered around historical wars, told from different perspectives (pretty creative). I was surprised how many people seemed to know the lyrics to the songs, and sing along with Joakim. All-in-all, Sabaton was great opening act, and I highly recommend catching them, if they come your way (along with Accept, of course)!

  • Accept

by Ralphdogs on 4/11/11Firestone Live - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

Saw them in Orlando opening night of their United States tour. They never stopped playing. They would hold their hands up at the end of a song, and jump into the next song before the feedback even stopped, for over 2 hours......on my count they played music from at least 6 albums...if your a true fan of this unit your going to be very happy. Peter Baltes may be the best bass player I never knew about....Ive listened to the band since 1980, driven by a love of Wolf Holfmans sound, but have never seen them until now.....the band displays nothing but proffesionalism...they take their trade to heart, and are very good at what they do...the new frontman (Mark Tornillo ) is perfect for their sound and stage presence, its like fine wine if you enjoy metal.

  • AAA for Accept!!!

Great concert just as I thought it would be. I wish the setlist was an extra 1/2 hour longer but for the one hour and 45 minutes they played. They Rocked

  • Accept was awesome

by Anonymous on 10/11/10Agora Theatre & Ballroom - ClevelandRating: 3 out of 5

The sound man at the Agora sucked. I could not understand anything from the opening band nor Kings X. Accept had their own sound man and was much better.

  • No Booze!

Great Show both bands were awesome as for the Venue though they need to stock more booze, they were out of just about everything!

  • The metal kings and the other Kings.

    by 1metal1 on 10/10/10Agora Theatre & Ballroom - ClevelandRating: 4 out of 5

How King's X got on this bill is beyond me. I felt like jumping from the balcony during this 1 hour plus set. It was the wrong band for the wrong tour. That fact knocks this down one star in my rating. When ACCEPT came on stage, they simply destroyed the place. All the hits with a sprinkle of new tracks balanced the show nicely. The musicianship was second to none and the set was as tight as a drum. If you're hesitating over the new singer, don't. He was outstanding and took no vocals "short cuts". It was full metal and all metalheads should rejoice!

  • Awesome!

by Anonymous on 10/10/10Agora Theatre & Ballroom - ClevelandRating: 5 out of 5

Accept was spectacular! They were polished. The new songs fit in seamlessly with the old classics. Mark Tornillo was spectacular on vocals. King's X was great too once Doug got his microphone problems resolved. Also, thanks to the girls in the balcony of the show.

  • Went to see KingsX and wasn't disappointed

    by diogenes36 on 10/4/10Emerald Theatre - Mt. ClemensRating: 4 out of 5

If I was simply rating the Kings X performance, I would have had no problem giving this show a 5 star rating. Kings X not only gave their expected flawless performance, their show really was "amazing". Venue was well organized and treated guests like, well, guests rather than annoyances. I felt welcome, comfortable and never herded or pigeon-holed, like I do at many venues. Opening act was a somewhat disappointing Accept wannabe band. MIght have promise if they learn a song that sounds a bit different from the one before. Accept was the expected loud, edgy performance, but seemed to make up for in volume what it lacked in technical expertise. I was a bit disappointed, since the band is capable of so much more.

  • Accept just slayed! Showcase, on the other hand...

by SecretWeapon on 10/4/10Showcase Live - FoxboroRating: 5 out of 5

This is the second time I have seen Accept this year, and like many other people there, I came away a very happy concertgoer! With their new album Blood of the Nations now out in the US, they added two more songs from the album ("No Shelter" and "Pandemic") not performed at the excellent kick-off show in New York. We didn't, however, get Wolf and Peter's nifty instrumental duet this time, although they did trade licks on an extended version of "Bulletproof." King's X were also excellent, going over surprisingly well with what one could assume was largely a pure metal crowd. Both bands stayed for signing sessions after their sets, with Accept in particular being very friendly and sometimes humorous in person. The only thing marring the experience overall was the rather anal retentive attitude of the venue management, who refused to allow patrons re-entry (I didn't know about the signing session, and just wanted to get a couple of CD jackets from my car) and made a point of nagging everyone to leave the venue once they had managed to get something signed by the band.

  • Accept - Must See Concert!

    by Bvphaze3 on 10/4/10Emerald Theatre - Mt. ClemensRating: 5 out of 5

Metal legends Accept are back stronger than ever. They are supporting their new CD Blood of Nations. The CD is my pick for best rock album of the year. The concert was a total blast. The guys sound great and you can't help but smile along with them. They are having such a blast on stage. The setlist consists of their classic hits and a handful of new rockers. The new stuff has a retro feel but very current. The band interacts with the crowd throughout the show. Meet and greets afterwards as well. Very cool guys. Go see this show and get your assed kicked! You will not regret it!

  • DOGS ON LEADS

by MikeMort on 10/3/10Showcase Live - FoxboroRating: 4 out of 5

ACCEPT put on a great show. Lead vocalist was on top of his game. Fine replacement. They performed 17 tracks. Tight numbers. Played three tunes from new album. I could've heard many more new tracks because "Blood Of The Nations" is THAT good. Showcase Live is a great venue. Pulled into the parking lot @ 8:15 pm and listened to King's X over the outside loud speakers(innovative feature). A draft beer = $4.

  • Best metal show in years!

by Charliepan on 10/2/10Starland Ballroom - SayrevilleRating: 5 out of 5

Best show I've ever been to (and I've been to many!) . Accept are better now than they ever have been, i've seen them several times throughout the years and always enjoyed them... but they are playing with energy now that has to be seen to be experienced! Any Accept fan should not miss them on this tour!

  • Accept was the Awesome!!!!!!!!

by goitch on 10/1/10B.B. King Blues Club and Grill - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

1st time seeing Accept, too bad i didn't catch them with Udo but Mark Tornillo kicked ass!! His voice fits the band perfectly. 1St Highlight of the night was when Mark announced that some friends from Albania flew in to see the show. I was with that group and it was awesome that he mentioned that as he was notified about us from an online social site. The second highlight was seeing Doro Pesch from across the floor. After the show we took pictures with her. Too bad we didn't hang out longer as Accept came out to hang with her.

  • Accept Live is a Must See!

by Brotherjames on 10/1/10Showcase Live - FoxboroRating: 5 out of 5

If you get the chance to see the "New" Accept tour in your town,do not miss it. New singer Mark Tornillo is the perfect frontman for the new band. He covered all of the Udo-era classics perfectly, like Fast as a Shark, Flash rocking man,Restless and Wild etc. And the new material from the Blood of the Nations cd is just great stuff, probably their best ever, and even better seeing it live! Check it out if the tour comes to your town! KingsX was the opener. We came in with only 15 minutes left to their set, but what we saw was good. They had the crowd rockin and singing and yelling for more when they left. Wish we got to see more of them, but they came on at 8pm. Definitely worth seeing again.
