AARON WATSON IN CONCERT:
Texas son Aaron Watson is all about no-frills country music. From drinking songs to ballads about bull riding, Watson keeps it decidedly real at his live shows, eschewing high tech tour trappings for simple, straightforward renditions of hits like "Summertime Girl" and "July in Cheyenne." Working with legendary producer Keith Stegall on his latest album, Watson has fans chomping at the bit to catch him on the road in 2014.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Born in Amarillo, Texas, Watson began learning guitar while attending Abilene Christian University. After spending several years performing around Texas and selling records out of his backpack, he released his self-titled 1999 debut to regional sales success. Hard work, extensive touring, and several more albums paid off in 2006 when his sixth album San Angelo made its way on to the charts, paving the way for his future success with albums like Angels & Outlaws (2008) and The Road & The Rodeo (2010). In 2012, Watson enjoyed his highest chart position yet with eleventh album Real Good Time, a Top 10 country hit.
FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:
"Aaron Watson shows are amazing. He doesn't use all the fancy tricks to make the show look good. Just the music is all he needs to have a great show"
"He is a must-see performer, I love his music, the band is super nice and stayed after the show for a meet and greet."
"Aaron's show was great. He really likes to interact with the crowd which makes you feel like you're getting your own personal show surrounded by all your friends."
Always a great show. Aaron Watson is my favorite and his band is awesome
Y’all, this guy doesn’t get enough radio play or recognition!!! Aaron Watson was one of the best concerts I have ever attended! He is a true Texas singer/songwriter & knows how to interact with the crowd!!!! And his band members have true talent!!!! I can’t wait to go again!!!!
Was the best concert I’ve been too! Loved the way he did his concert and how he interacted with the crowd!! We will definitely go to another one and sit up front
Thoroughly enjoyed the entire show Aaron and his boys put on at the Choctaw Casino in Grant, OK. He engaged the crowd, connected on multiple levels, and was truly genuine the entire concert. Highly recommend attending an Aaron Watson concert if you are looking for a genuine, down to earth and heartfelt country artist!
Goldfields is a great venue! So happy it changed from Ace is Spades!
This show was high energy from the second the band stepped on stage. They were tight and played a really good set. Aaron is very crowd engaging which speaks to his performance. He was there for the party and did not disappoint. The band was amazing and each of the guys killed it the entire night. This was my first time seeing him perform live and I was not disappointed at all. 10/10 overall! If you haven't seen Aaron Watson live I suggest you find a show near you and GO!!!!
Aaron always puts on a good show. This was the third time we have seen him and this was the best one yet! We will see him again and again.
Non stop show. Connects with the audience between each song. Second half really picks up. This is when Arron puts on a show.
Best concert! Loved every second of it. Great show!
Nice place. Good seating. Well air conditioned!! Aron Watson puts on an awesome show. We all had a great time
Aaron Watson put on such an amazing show! His energy, and crowd interaction was amazing!! The whole family really had an awesome time!!!
We thought the show was great. The space was a good size. We had good seats. All in all we had a very good time.
Aaron Watson NEVER disappoints...and neither did the Choctaw Casino!!! A GREAT place to see your favorite artist up close and personal!!!
Not only did the 8 second saloon provide an awesome Venue for the event. But also Aaron Watson is one of the best entertainers music writers and performers in music right now. It was A great experience. But watch out because the 8 second saloon does have overpriced Coors Light Bottles. Just be aware And also brings them cash because they will charge you an extra dollar per drink on your debit card.
5 hour drive one way; as always, Aaron Watson is worth every mile - always excellent; the venue is AMAZING- any fan of country music and dancing needs to visit this venue.
Well worth the time and money. Awesome venue and great people! Would love to see him there again!
Venue was ok, The opening act came out late, and AW also came out late making his performance last later than planned. I’m not sure why but AW started almost an hour after he was supposed to. I guess this allowed 8 Seconds Saloon to sell more alcohol to people and earn more money.
After missing out on his Reno, Nevada show at Grand Sierra Resort & Casino & San Antonio, Texas at Cowboys Dancehall the Downtown Sacramento show at Ace of Spades has made it up.
This will not be the last time i see Aaron Watson!
Aaron is authentic, harkens back to a time when country was country. One of the best artists on tour, bar none!
