Thoroughly enjoyed the concert, the performance was amazing. I would highly recommend Croce sings Croce!!
always enjoyed Jim Croce's music all be it a short career. what we saw and listened to not only a tribute to a musician but AJ CROCE who can stand on his own musical ability. his piano playing was incredible the song choices were well selected. would go and see him again.
Phenomenal musician and a great story teller. I’ll see him again!
A.J. Croce is an amazing musician in his own right. We love his dad's songs and thought this would be a great tribute show with lots of personal stories...and it was. However, it was so much more than that as A.J. is a great talent in his own right. He's a musician's musician. A real student of the art as he related his musical influences to the audience. Go see this show!
This show was fantastic! A.J.'s skill on piano was very entertaining and the entire band was really very, very good. Check 'em out if you get the chance...I don't think you'll be disappointed.
This guy has it all and admittedly even more talent than I would have imagined. He's a good storyteller and greater pianist. I could just sit and listen to him for hours. Multifaceted, I don't know why I haven't heard him before but definitely need more.
Very talented musician and band. Beautiful venue. A fun time for sure.
Small intimate venue-no trouble parking-A.J. Very engaging and entertaining . Very heartfelt and moving performance - I would definitely go see him again
A.J. is an incredibly talented performer. From his storytelling behind each song, his all-star band, to his heartfelt tribute to his father’s music, I would s recommend his show. I would definitely love to see him again!
WOW! Thank you AJ! And thank you for bringing along an extremely talented group of musicians w/ you!.... Amazing show in a beautiful setting. Thanks Sugar Loaf PAC!
A.J. was delightful. The man can play the piano... he is a talent all his own. His wit, his storytelling and the timing of how and when he played songs was flawless. The best concert I have been to in years. His Dad would be so proud.
Saw AJ Croce and his band on Saturday night at Sugarloaf. They were fantastic. Note for note performances of many of his dad’s songs but unbelievable musicianship from AJ and his multiple-Grammy winning band mates. AJ plays an incredible rock ‘n roll piano and performs a number of his own co positions which seem to be in the same style as his dad’s. Will definitely see them again.
We thought this would be a show with mostly JIM Croce’s music. It was mostly about AJ’s music. We were misled. I think AJ is a very talented musician though. I just wish he did more of his Dad’s songs.
I wasnt expecting much, to be honest. What a surprise! Energetic, great voice, mind blowing piano playing. This has become one of my top five concerts in my life, and I've seen hundreds. After losing his father so young, his vision, and his wife, he still manages to give you his full heart and soul. His band was top notch talent. A must see when you can.
What a surprise as I didn't even know Jim Croce had a son until I was notified of this event. Fantastic talent in his own right and an absolute bundle of energy and heart. What a show! I was our first venture out since before the pandemic, so couldn't have started off again with a better show. Top notch and would see this again!
We really enjoyed this show. AJ is an amazing artist! So glad we went.
AJ gave the best concert ever! He is such a talented musician - My husband and I would be thrilled to see him again. Really appreciated his narrative to set up the songs and thoroughly enjoyed his rendition of his father’s songs. But his own songs and covers are just as great! His band is also amazing. Thank you for such a great evening!
The first half was AJ playing a complete album of his father's. The second half was some covers and AJ Croce originals, and this is where his musicianship really shined. The finale was a rousing rendition of "I've got a name". AJ is a consummuate profession who surrounds himself with talented musicians. The band was tight and organic - no trickery or backing tracks here. Definitely a show I will remember.
A talented man with a great sense of his and our past and experience in the 70s. His background presentation really brought back personal memories. Impressive piano player. Just a great show
I have most of his albums. This our 1st time seeing him live. It won't be the last. He's great. Very bitter sweet hearing him do his dad's songs since my late father was a fan of his dad. AJ is not only a talented singer in his own right, but a great storyteller as well
