  • Nostalgic Beautiful Experience

by Rbmalone on 12/10/24The Orpheum Theatre Memphis - MemphisRating: 5 out of 5

I love the feel of back in time which I grew up watching as a kid. If you love Charlie Brown as I do, this will take you to exact animated Charlie Brown Christmas! Cartoon. The actors especially Snoopy stole the show!! BRAVO!! To all the actors!!

  • Enjoyable

by SB on 12/10/24The Orpheum Theatre Memphis - MemphisRating: 5 out of 5

Very talented group. Only suggestion is shortening the play to hour. No intermission. There were obviously lots of young children there. Our 7 year granddaughter watched intently but the 3 year olds were restless. I guess I should expect that. But I do think that some added scenes could be cut. Overall very good and entertaining.

  • Delightful!

Was a wonderful show filled with uplifting moments. Reminded the audience of what the season is truly about.

  • Up front seating row not worth it

by HW on 12/8/24VBC Mark C Smith Concert Hall - HuntsvilleRating: 1 out of 5

I bought 4 VIP tickets for my husbands birthday and we sat in the 3rd row. I had a tall guy sit right in front of me blocking my entire view. I was not able to watch any of the show. A real disappointment. Never again will we buy up front seating. I can't leave a review of a show I was unable to see, and being hard of hearing, unable to follow along. Save you money and get tickets higher up. I wish I could share a picture of my view so you could see just how bad it was.

  • Really great!

by Treasea on 12/7/24VBC Mark C Smith Concert Hall - HuntsvilleRating: 5 out of 5

We really enjoyed the show! The cast members in the musical are very talented and their singing was the most beautiful Christmas music I have heard in a long time! Gives you chills! They have crowd involvement so it is great for kids young and old both! The show is app 1 hour long so to me that was perfect and it is great for people with young children. One really great thing is they did not remove the Christmas story so it was perfect! Right now, there is construction at the vbcc, so you have to enter the parking deck from the back side to get in to park but you need to still walk out the front side to be right in front of the Mark C Smith concert hall. Totally recommend!

  • Moved seats

by HB on 12/3/24Fox Theatre Detroit - DetroitRating: 1 out of 5

We were moved at the last minute to totally different seats, which were worse. And we paid a good amount for tickets.

  • Charlie Brown Christmas

by Kar on 11/30/24Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts - BloomingtonRating: 3 out of 5

This play was ok. Second half definitely better than first. Guess I expected more from a touring company performance at the BCPA, esp for the price. The actors had good voices so it wasn’t that! We simply expected bigger numbers, more dancing, etc. The first part was so repetitive. It was good, just not great.

  • Delightful, fun holiday show

by Showgoer on 11/28/24Clowes Memorial Hall - IndianapolisRating: 4 out of 5

Peanuts in person! A Charlie Brown Christmas brings the TV special we all loved to life. Talented actors and musicians play the beloved characters with humor and enthusiasm. Great entertainment for young and old alike!

  • Just ok

by MeggieReviews on 11/28/24Fox Theatre Detroit - DetroitRating: 3 out of 5

If you are expecting it to be just like the original movie please move along, as this isn't exactly it. However it was well done and the singing was absolutely magical. I didn't leave with the spirit of Christmas, but I was glad I went.

  • Wow!

by IndyMom on 11/28/24Clowes Memorial Hall - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

We highly recommend A Charlie Brown Christmas show! From the colorful costumes to the singing and dancing, and beautiful set design - we had a wonderful night out as a family. The actors did a great job depicting the characters in real life and the show even kept the attention of our 7-year-old the entire time. If this show comes to town, you will not be disappointed!

  • Amazing theater, staff,& performance!

Beautiful theater with amazing staff! Excellent performance!

  • So so

by Kim L on 11/27/24Fox Theatre Detroit - DetroitRating: 3 out of 5

Guess I’m not sure what I expected but this was a short lesson than 90 minutes) and not too fantastic show. Maybe if they had the character’s big heads it would have been more entertaining? Some of the characters voices were hard to make out. 9year old granddaughter said she liked it but not sure if she really did as her focus was more on her popcorn.

  • One of the best shows yet

by Woman of her own kind on 11/27/24Fox Theatre Detroit - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

I loved the performance of a Charlie Brown Christmas. The people were amazing and so funny. Especially, the guy who played Snoopy. The singing and dancing was outstanding. I can’t wait to see it again.

  • Fox theater / A Charlie Brown Christmas

by Danielle R on 11/27/24Fox Theatre Detroit - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

The Charlie Brown Christmas performance was excellent! It was a great way to start the holiday season! Although, every time I see a performance at the Fox, I am always disappointed at how they handle the timed entrances. There needs to be more time from when the entrances open, allowed to go into the theater to find your seat, and at the start of the performance . I am not happy with waiting in the lobby area, like a herd of cattle, to finally find your seat when the doors open and then not even be given enough time to use the restroom and get settled by the time the performance starts.

  • Classic Christmas Kickoff

by Jessica N on 11/27/24Fox Theatre Detroit - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

We loved this performance! Our little boys (6,4) loved recognizing the classic music and singing along to the Christmas songs. This performance was so cute, good for all ages, and really sets the tone for what Christmas is all about. So glad we bought tickets and made the memory for our snoopy loving boys!

  • Tons of fun

The cast was lovely! Loved their audience engagement!

  • Wonderful performance; excellent message

by Shabaron on 12/28/23Knoxville Civic Auditorium - KnoxvilleRating: 4 out of 5

The performers were outstanding, bringing our beloved Charlie Brown characters to life. It was hard to keep in mind they were adults, because they were so good acting like children. We loved it! My only negative was that the theater at the Knoxville cicvic center should have had more signage as where to enter their massive building for the play. It took us a long time to find the correct entrance and then had to stand outside the shut doors before letting us in after the first song was finished,

  • Excellent!

by Mom of girls on 12/27/23Knoxville Civic Auditorium - KnoxvilleRating: 5 out of 5

I was not sure what to expect. It was excellent! Both my 5 year old and 12 year old LOVED it! If it come back to Knoxville we will see it again! Though Snoopy’s house needs to be ionically red not blue.:)

  • Disappointed

by Jester on 12/27/23Knoxville Civic Auditorium - KnoxvilleRating: 2 out of 5

I was expecting more of a play rather than a musical. I know you have to fill time with a 25 minute cartoon and stretch it over an hour but they could have done so much better. The opening sequence was a mishmash of songs and random characters that took me out of the show right away. It set the stage for the rest of the show. Snoopy was almost unbearable to watch. When did Snoopy become a gymnast? They turned the character into more human than what it should have been. Charlie Brown seemed happy while telling us that he was sad. His voice and demeanor were almost jovial and should have been more downtrodden and melancholy. The tree... the tree was nice but then they revealed a huge tree behind the curtain and somebody took the little tree offstage. Wasn't the point to make the little tree beautiful, not to get rid of the little tree and make believe that the little tree is now a big beautiful tree. We were worried that they were going to ruin Linus's speech but they didn't which was good. Lucy and Sally seemed spot on.
