    Joy filled the room

by Christmas Gem on 12/18/23Atlanta Symphony Hall - Atlanta

My family was able to attend this event at ASO. My 7yo son’s eyes sparkled and his laughter rolled as we enjoyed the most delightful performance. The audience was so full Christmas cheer and nostalgic energy. 100% would recommend taking all of your family members and friends!

    Cute for kids

by Dollface on 12/18/23Atlanta Symphony Hall - Atlanta

Charlie Brown was cute for kids. I didn't know what to expect when I bought our tickets so it was interesting through adult eyes. The buying process was easy and the staff, when I had to add a ticket, was great. The chat feature was also helpful when I needed the address to the valet parking. The only thing I wasn't to fond of was that I couldn't print out tickets, only because I don't download a lot of apps on my phone. But I downloaded it, scanned our tickets, and can delete the app.

    Disappointing show

by Debra on 12/17/23Atlanta Symphony Hall - Atlanta

We love Charlie Brown and thought this show would be a nostalgic Christmas production based on the cartoon. Unfortunately, the opening singing was not very good, the jokes fell flat, and the moving monologue from Linus at the end wasn’t particularly moving (he should have copied the understated cartoon style instead of going for drama). The whole thing was quite disappointing.

    Uninspired

by Disappointed on 12/16/23Atlanta Symphony Hall - Atlanta

May have been that it was in Symphony Hall and I was expecting more of the songs associated with the cartoon with a full symphony. To sit through a poorly written stage play was painful. Weak plot. I only stayed til the end because of ticket price; however, a group of about 8 sitting to my left didn’t return after intermission. Same with about 5 in the row in front of me. As I was walking out out a teen was starting to share thoughts with his mom and she whispered don’t say anything until we get in the car. Felt like something that should’ve been free onsite at an elementary school.

    It was not as expected

by Charlie Brown on 12/16/23Atlanta Symphony Hall - Atlanta

It was ok but definitely not what I was expecting. I was expecting more character type costumes

    Lucy Stole the Show

by Snoopy Fan on 12/16/23Atlanta Symphony Hall - Atlanta

This was a wonderful evening with family. The show was excellent and my 29 year old autistic son loved it. He was very engaged and more interested in this than any other play or show he's been to over the years, and there have been many. His favorite was Lucy and he now has a plush Lucy from the show.

    Surprisingly adorable

by Gibson on 12/16/23Atlanta Symphony Hall - Atlanta

I fully expected to see characatures of the Peanuts gang in mascot-type costumes. It was pleasantly surprising to see actual dancers in performance. Would definitely see it again next year.

    Charlie Brown

by corvetteguy on 12/16/23Atlanta Symphony Hall - Atlanta

The actors did a wonderful job I just think it swayed from the original story a little to much for me but it still very good.

    It was okay.

by Enjoy the Show on 12/16/23Atlanta Symphony Hall - Atlanta

The show was live with lots of singing. It had good points in the show with dancing as well. The cast had lots of energy. However, the way the story was carried out was not as captivating as the movie. It seemed it was mostly just song with some skits. In addition, there was almost zero variety as far as ethnicity. In this city it seems almost impossible they could not have had more. I am aware that it’s Charlie Brown..but it’s 2023

Awesome Christmas Show at the Orpheum NOLA

by Howie on 12/6/23Orpheum Theater - New Orleans

The Cast was amazing and as always stays true to the Charlie Brown Christmas Show. Loved Act II and the True Christmas Story. You can tell the cast is having fun with this show. Recommend seeing it!!

    Great Experience!

by NOLALINDA on 12/6/23Orpheum Theater - New Orleans

The performances and set props were amazing! The entire show was great from start to finish - there were no parts that we wanted to "fast forward"through. A perfect live theater rendition of A Charlie Brown Christmas. I took my 8yo son and his words when the curtain dropped were "I loved that!"Highly recommend to anyone considering going.

    Not worth it

by KE on 11/28/23Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center - Red Bank

Show was meh…. Worst part were our seats. Spent over $200 to sit close, to left of stage. The show set up the band on the left of the stage, which blocked about 50% of the view of the stage. None of us could see what was happening behind the band on that portion of the stage. When buying the seats, there was no indication that there would be an obstructed view. At intermission, we moved to some open seats in the way back of the theater. Very disappointed.

    Wonderful!

by LenA on 11/27/23Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center - Red Bank

Great singing, dancing and acting. My kids really enjoyed the Snoopy character! My wife and I appreciated the wonderful words of Charles Schultz integrated into a meaningful show for all age groups.

    A really good presentation

by Bill on 11/27/23Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center - Red Bank

A classic Christmas show . Charlie Brown is confused about Christmas and ends up being the director of the annual Christmas play . Snoopy of course has his own way of showing his Christmas spirit. I would see it again , the next time it comes around.

    Unique

by Mag on 11/27/23Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center - Red Bank

The singing was spot on and beautiful. The music was superb. However, the costumes as beautiful as they were, were not a good match for the play. I had trouble knowing who anyone was. Also, the set was disappointing. It was really nothing. No thought. It was also a little confusing to follow. It seemed they jumped around a lot. Also, would have liked it to end the way it did in the show, not showing the play Charlie Brown directed.

    Not the experience I expected

by DB on 11/27/23Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center - Red Bank

I purchased orchestra seats 4 rows from the stage on the right side. The show placed their drum set with piles of gifts in front of it right at the front of the stage. All of the performances were behind the drums. We could not see anything that was happening. My grandsons were having a hard time getting involved in the show because they could not see anything. When purchasing the tickets, it did not state I would have an obstructed view. Very poor set up.
