THE UNTOLD TRUE STORY OF A BROOKLYN KID WHO BECAME A CHART-BUSTING, SHOW-STOPPING, AWARD-WINNING AMERICAN ICON

Created in collaboration with Neil Diamond himself, A BEAUTIFUL NOISE is the uplifting true story of how a kid from Brooklyn became a chart-busting, show-stopping American rock icon. With 120 million albums sold, a catalogue of classics like "America," "Forever in Blue Jeans," and "Sweet Caroline," an induction into the Songwriters and Rock and Roll Halls of Fame, a Grammy® Lifetime Achievement Award, and sold-out concerts around the world that made him bigger than Elvis, Neil Diamond's story was made to shine on Broadway-and head out on the road across America.

Like Jersey Boys and Beautiful: The Carole King Musical before it, A BEAUTIFUL NOISE THE NEIL DIAMOND MUSICAL is an inspiring, exhilarating, energy-filled musical memoir, that tells the untold true story of how America's greatest hitmaker became a star, set to the songs that defined his career.

  • Fantastic Show

by Reesy G on 10/14/25The Orpheum Theatre Memphis - MemphisRating: 5 out of 5

My dad and daughter saw this show in NYC a few years back and LOVED it! When it went on tour and came near us, we were so excited and brought the rest of the family. We love the way it tells Neil Diamond's story, like an autobiography through his music. The show is captivating and moving. And of course the music is phenomenal! Not a fan of the language for my younger kids, but I think anyone in their teens all the way up to their 90s will really enjoy this show.

  • Awesome musical and overall experience!

by Julie on 10/14/25The Orpheum Theatre Memphis - MemphisRating: 5 out of 5

The singers and dancers were all excellent. I felt like I was hearing Neil Diamond in person. His story is also very emotional and personal. Listening to his music all my life, I never really thought deeply about the lyrics until seeing the musical. It was very touching.

  • All Around Good Time!

If you are a Neil Diamond fan, this play was a fun time. The sing along at the end was an added bonus!

Nostalgic, wonderful memories stirred from all the Neil Diamond concerts I attended since 1972.

Exceeded expectations. Heart-wrenching play with such great music. I knew I would love the music. I did not expect the high level of acting. Would go again tomorrow if I could.

This show is at the top of my list of the best I have seen. Excellent performers in every way. I highly recommend it. I didn’t only enjoy the music but the story is good as well.

Outstanding show, a little bit of drag in second half, but ended well. Lead male & female singers were great.

  • The Perfect Evening!

by Womayn on 10/11/25The Orpheum Theatre Memphis - MemphisRating: 5 out of 5

When we found our seats in the back row of the mezzanine, we wanted the young ladies beside us that we were going to be singing to which they replied, “Isn’t that why we’re here?!” It was all just FABULOUS! The show was well written and was performed immaculately and the young singer sounded so much like Neil Diamond we were simply stunned! I have recommended it to many friends already. BRAVO!!!

  • Phenomenal show

    by BobL•Orpheum theatre-Minneapolis on 10/9/25Rating: 5 out of 5

I’d Never known anything about Niel Diamond before the show, except the song sweet Caroline. However my family enjoyed the show very much. Niel (then) had such a beautiful voice. All other solos were also very good. There was not any second of it that I didn’t enjoy. Loved the wolves’ lesson, and the chair therapy.

  • Great show but bad seating situation

by Peggy on 10/9/25Orpheum Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 3 out of 5

Loved the show and the music, but theatre seating not on much of an incline. Paid $239 a ticket so that we could sit closer, but sadly sat behind a tall person and had to lean to one side the whole time to see what was happening center stage.

  • Beautiful Noise Great insight into Neil Diamond.

I bought tickets for my sister and myself. Due to our limited mobility with steps, I wanted tickets on the main floor. I end up getting tickets in different rows, a few seats apart. Turns out she had 4 empty seats next to her and 4-5 empty in front of her. I had 2 empty next to me. At the Intermission, I moved over to her row. It was better since I couldn't since over the man in front of me. How could there be so many empty seats? Don't go to many plays so could I have checked to exchanged seats? I loved the play. Such talent! Now Neil was too lanky for me - saw a photo of ND at Bruce Springsteen concert the night before and he didn't appear as weak as portrayed. He was good but not the best. Young Neil was outstanding as was the chorus line. So much talent among the support staff. Did not disappoint. Would love to see again.

Loved this show. The songs are still playing in my head.

  • Loved all the songs

by RMA on 10/8/25Orpheum Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 4 out of 5

The performances were stellar. There was so much energy on stage. I learned a lot about Neil Diamond’s journey that I didn’t know. Sound was good and performers really nailed his voice. My only disappointment was the theater. We felt jammed in to our seats and there was a tall guy with a big head in front of me so I could only see the full stage when performers were on the left or right. If I go back to the Orpheum Theater in Minneapolis, I will try for balcony seating in the hopes the seats are more graduated.

  • Wonderful Time

by JudyB on 10/8/25Orpheum Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

It was my daughter's 50th birthday and we have been Neil Diamond fans since my daughter was 5. She and her sister would sing Coming to America and watching the Jazz Singer in our living room. It was only natural that we all went to see 'A Beautiful Noise' together. We all enjoyed it immensely. I was just sorry that my husband could not see it. He died last November. He would have been the one dancing in the aisle!!! I liked the way that the production pointed out what a performer goes thru to be a success! This was a real psychological trip for me. The music was terrific. Loved every minute.

Awesome performance, a wonderful tribute to Neil Diamond!

  • One of BEST shows EVER

by Zahn on 10/8/25Orpheum Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

The music alone would have been enough to make this worthwhile but the simplicity of the sets and the story behind the music was both provocative and emotional. Too often my mind wanders during theater productions. Not this one.
