The WWE is the world's largest wrestling promotion corporation. Founded by Jess McMahon and Toots Mondt in 1953 as Capitol Wrestling Corporation, the organization now hosts more than 500 events per year across the globe. In 1982, McMahon’s grandson Vincent K. McMahon bought Capitol Wrestling and was fundamental to turning the WWE into a widespread and enduring sports entertainment product.
Initially, McMahon built up the WWE roster with future superstars such as Hulk Hogan, Roddy Piper and Jesse Ventura and launched the organization’s annual marquee event, WrestleMania, in 1985. Over the years, WrestleMania has offered plenty of unforgettable moments like the Hulk Hogan-André the Giant championship match in 1987, the generation-shifting face-off between Bret Hart and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin in 1997 and The Undertaker’s 21-year winning streak at the event. The WWE will celebrate the 40th annual WrestleMania in 2024.
By the late ’80s and early ’90s, there was a full roster of hardcore brawlers, including Shawn Michaels, Hart, Ric Flair and "Macho Man" Randy Savage, who were later joined by a new crop of “Attitude Era” stars such as Steve Austin, The Rock, Triple H and Mankind as the organization grew into a touring juggernaut. Another infusion of talent joined the WWE during the late aughts and early ’10s, including John Cena, Roman Reigns, Sasha Banks, Charlotte Flair, CM Punk, Brock Lesnar, Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey.
The WWE continued to reinvent itself as it created the separate Raw and SmackDown brands in 2002, launched various offshoot brands including the ECW and WWE NXT and introduced a 24/7 streaming network in 2014. The companies behind the WWE and mixed-martial arts promoter Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) merged into TKO Group Holdings in 2023.

Had an amazing time! The Schott's employee's were very friendly and helpful.
Great venue! Seats on all levels gave good visibility. Only thin I would have done differently would be to go get more concessions early cuz once in my seat, it was too crowded and tight to get past people to get out of the row.
This show was amazing. Top notch production, great matches, amazing energy. My 5 year old son loved every second of this show. I can't wait for WWE to come back to Fort Wayne again! As always the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum is a great venue for wrestling.
First time ever going to a WWE match and it was awesome!! Will go again
I want to let everyone know this experience was one of my favorites not only because I'm a life long wrestling fan but because this is the first time in 51 years since I got to see a match live the one thing that made imthis experience memorable was the ease in entrysimpke quick and easy to use recommend using ticket Master for all your entertainment needs.
We had a great time. The show was great! Front row seats allowed for alot of interaction with the wrestlers.
The overall experience was great, but for the amount I spent on just two tickets and the people that bought isle tickets got more autographs than the actual vip. My suggestion is either set earlier Tim to meet superstars or do like tables for multiple stars to sit and we walk through and get autographs and pic or more merchandise
My grandmother is a life long wrestling fan. We have gone to a few events in the past but it has been a while since we have gone to one. So with her Birthday very close I got tickets to see a live event again. The Ft. Wayne War Memorial once again hosted a great event. They helped get her to her seat in quick fashion. They kept the wheelchair near by if we needed it. The WWE stars absolutely made her night. She was almost brought to tears when the entire event sang Happy Birthday to her. SO THANK YOU to the WWE and to the War Memorial Staff.... Job WELL DONE!
The only highlight to the night was seeing and hearing HHH
The show was great. Hadn’t been in 10 years. Absolutely loved it!
For the low price of our tickets, the seats were amazing and WWE lineup of stars and the matches was very impressive. Overall it was a great night and will definitely be coming back.
Got my tickets extremely early so I had awesome seats for dirt cheap. My company and I had a great time overall, can't wait for the next one!
Show was great! We loved it! However… having floor seats made it kinda hard to see what was going on when action took place outside the ring! People controlling cameras and the screens coulda down better by showing that action on the screens above! Other than that we loved every min of it!
House shows are alway the best you get your moneys worth.
Just wish I would have got my VIP chair like last year. It said it in the description but we never received it, nor our ring side photo, other then that, wonderful experience!
I was a hard-core WWF fan, posters on the wall, subscription to the magazine, you name it. Could care about the WWE. Took my kids to this event just as a chaperone. I cannot believe how exciting it was!! From the different music to all the Trons, to the audience engaging each character, chanting specific things! Someone really knows how to run a business!! Nice to see HHH there too.
Just like most WWE shows. Took my grandson to his first Smackdown l. He had the chance to see behind the scene. How they setup the car crash between the bloodline and Kevin Owens. And a huge shout out to Rey Mysterio one of the OG's that understands it's the fans that makes the show he got out of his vehicle and hung out with a bunch of us. One father had his five six year old son with him he had a sign that said it's my son's first wrestling event make it memorable and I believe Rey Mysterio did that.
Best smack down I’ve been to in a long time when hhh came out it was awesome
It was ok but I was expecting a few more big names but they were over seas so it is what it is.
We were relocated due to cameras which was fine, the new seats were way better than the purchased ones and it was awesome. Everything went well, everyone I spoke to that was working was kind and helpful. Drinks and food are expensive but I guess that's to be expected with a venue in this day and age.
