About

Few bands in rock music history have reached the level of superstardom (and have maintained the staying power) of Dublin-based band U2. Due to a winning combination of innovative, ever-evolving songwriting, spectacular live shows, and front-man Bono's penchant for political/humanitarian endeavors, U2 have managed to remain an A-list act since emerging onto the music scene with their debut album Boy in 1980. With phenomenal album sales (every album they've released since 1987's The Joshua Tree has hit Billboard's number one spot), a plethora of hit singles ("New Years Day, " "Sunday Bloody Sunday," "Pride," "I Still haven't Found What I'm looking For," "With or Without You," "Mysterious Ways," Beautiful Day," -- and the list goes on) U2 have established themselves as the premier rock band of the 1980s and far beyond. Their sound has evolved from post-punk (guitarist The Edge created a signature sound with his sweeping, delay-heavy guitar work), to arena rock, to blues-inspired rock, to electronic/techno pop and back again. With their 2005 release, How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb, U2 treat fans to sounds both classic and new-- reminding us exactly why these Dubliners have managed to become one of the most successful bands in rock history.

    out of this world experience

by Bill in Sonoma on 2/26/24Sphere - Las Vegas

U2 was phenomenal as they usually are. But the visual/multisensory experience is beyond description. Get to the Sphere if you can afford it ! ( and that's not for the faint of heart as I bought a single ticket at the 'last minute' . . .

    Best Concert Ever

by Eli on 2/26/24Sphere - Las Vegas

U2 owns the Sphere—they’re the only ones with the courage to create a show for a venue not even built yet; everyone else will just be following them and their vision. They did a masterful job and created the best concert ever!

    Great concert - bad venue

by Jackie on 2/26/24Sphere - Las Vegas

The concert was great - they sounded great. Buyers need to be aware of the limitations of the sphere and there are definitely great seats and bad seats. We were highly disappointed that our seats did not provide any view of the visual graphics on the screen. We were limited to the concert but could not get the entire experience of the "sphere"which was why we went. Very disappointed!

    Incredible audio and visual show.

    by Cc143 on 2/26/24Sphere - Las Vegas

Honestly was not a huge U2 fan. Got tickets for wife and I as Christmas gift. The show was incredible and so well done. The acoustics were perfect and the visual within the Sphere is something everyone should experience. Classy and quite an experience to such a level that I have never seen. Cannot say enough positives about the show, band and venue.

    Amazing Show At The Sphere

by Hank H on 2/26/24Sphere - Las Vegas

The wife and I attended U2 at The Sphere in Las Vegas on a Friday night. One word....incredible. The band was tuned in and the visuals were amazing! I can't wait to see what Dead and Company do with the venue in June when I go back out.

    I was left speechless;ess

by Rodin Lozada on 2/26/24Sphere - Las Vegas

An amazing concert experience. U2 was excellent, as usual. But The Sphere left me speechless and was an amazing visual compliment. Words will not do the whole experience justice. An event that needs to be experienced in-person to talk in the all the sights and sounds.

Sphere not as impressive as expected

by Monica on 2/24/24Sphere - Las Vegas

U2 is U2, the band, the songs are always great. It is the first time I see them play more of the melancholy-est songs versus the more popular. A few were not happy about that selection but you get the mood of the band on that day..I suppose The Sphere: well, impressive in the magnitude of it; however feels very clinical, more like a convention center. It is impersonal, there are no links to the band, it is not welcoming. with all that technology, I expected to have music and videos playing to get you in the ambience of the show, but it lacks the “communal” feeling of going to a concert, the feeling of coming together. Even the merchandise is hiding in corners where you cannot see them right away; so you dont even get the excitement of when you first see the merch. The food, lacking options, lacking seating, lots of alcohol; i guess the ratio is on purpose. Having such a big space, it is a wonder that places to sit were not created, forcing everyone to stand or sit on the floor to eat. The lack of seating or standing tables hinders the coming together of the fans to discuss U2, the reminisce about past shows, or what this show is going to like.. It is very dismissive as a location, more like pay up and get out; however it is Las Vegas so maybe not too far from your objective.

    Next Level

    by Yph on 2/24/24

Simply amazing, I'm glad I decided to buy a ticket to see U2. It's morning of the second day but I still thinking about it. During the concert I was thinking I hope I had a even better phone to record it, buy hey, you really need to be at the venue to experience it. I'm looking forward to more concerts in the Sphere, it's like no other. Oh, this is a venue where 200-400 section is better than 100 & floor, likely 300 the best
