Todd Rundgren Tickets

Concert was just OK. Very slow and boring in the beginning and the it finally livened up. Then extremely disappointing finish with a montage of his best hits just slammed out. It didn't sound good or flow well. Just sing your hits all the way through and singe them well. That's why we come to see you in the first place. BLAH!

Enjoyed the show. Like most of my age, wish he played a few of his 70s hits as full songs at the end, but appreciated the medley. I like hearing what an artist from my past is performing now. I think it's rude to go only hoping for those nostalgic hits. BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT was the lighting. Stage left front had NO LIGHTING!! Todd was great with going upstage to the left and right to engage with the whole audience, but when he went upstage left he was in total shadow! I thought the venue would realize this and correct it, but apparently no one was paying attention to that. My seat was higher up with a little bit of obs view due to a stair railing. When he came stage left, that was the best view for me, but then he just got drowned in shadow. Even the screen projections couldn't help that fail.

Really like Todd Rundgren and all if his hits. With that said, the first 22 songs played I had never heard of. Then in an encore he did 2 hits in medley style. Then 2 more never heard of tunes. Worst concert experience ever in my life and I am not hard to please. Wasted a lot of money and time I'll never get back again.

It's great to see Todd on the road again. Most people attending are real fans and know what expect, he is a very independent character! The band is tight as always. Todd put together an interesting setlist, about 2 hr 20 mins. 27 songs from 17 different albums! Wow!

He is amazing, He played for over two hours. The venue was wonderful!!!

Todd Rundgren Certainly doesn't need a review from me ! Extremely Talented musician, writer, producer etc. Etc. My opinion is he could have structured his set list different and he also could embrace the audience some. Just give the crowd a little breather from the music. Maybe just not his style? That's OK!!

Venue seating is terrible. This venue needs to be renovated. Very bad design. Never will see another show here. Todd Rundgren concert was not good. Sang songs never heard before. Didn’t sing ANY of his hits except half a song during last call. Voice is shot.

Very dissatisfied and disappointed with the Todd Rundgren show. Only played 2 two minute medley of some hits. Most of the music he played was unknown. Why not give the fans what they want. I would not recommend buying tickets to this show in other cities. Boo!

Plenty of easy parking... easy to get around inside... auditorium was good but not great (after all it is a casino primarily, the theater is just a bonus), but the sight lines where I sat were good. Sound quality was VERY good. AS FOR THE SHOW ITSELF: EXCELLENT!! GREAT!! Virtual non-stop music, solid selection of songs, excellent music quality, covered a wide variety of his career. Have not seen Todd for a while and realized how much his music is still in my head. Would definitely see him again, and would definitely return there for other shows.

Very disappointed in the concert. I saw Todd two years ago in Ann Arbor with Daryll Hall, and he was great. He played all his hits, and the crowd was really appreciative. But Sunday, April 21 in Detroit, it was a different story. His main set was 1 hour 45 minutes long, and I did not know one song! He came back out for an encore and sang an obligatory and ABBREVIATED medley of Hello its Me/Can We Still Be Friends/I saw the Light. The crowd erupted. He then sang another song from whatever, then finished with a full version of A Dream Lives on for Ever. If this was going to be Obscure Night, I wish someone would have told me, I wouldn’t have bought front row center tickets. If you are a true fan of his less popular stuff, by all means knock yourself out and go. His voice sounded great BTW, and he’ll be 76 in June. Band was tight too. But the song selection will have me wondering if we can, in fact, still be friends.
