Slightly Stoopid was discovered by Sublime’s Bradley Nowell in 1995. Co-founders Miles Doughty and Kyle McDonald were still in high school in San Diego when they inked a deal with Nowell’s indie label Skunk Records. Fusing rock, reggae, and blues with hip-hop, funk, American folk, metal, and punk, Slightly Stoopid forged their sonic legacy on the road, selling out venues across the world and bringing their SoCal vibes to festivals like Coachella, Lollapalooza, New Orleans Jazz Fest, Austin City Limits and more. Albums like Everything You Need (2003), Closer to the Sun (2005) and Chronchitis (2007) feature summertime classics “2am” and “Closer to the Sun.”

It was incredible. Amazing show highly recommend anyone see them
I've seen them so many times and they never disappoint!
Had a blast from first song of the day to last at night. Just WOW! Great way to wrap up my summer of concerts.
Great performance, good vibes and good crowd, sublime with rome was amazing! Would definitely be looking for them coming to town again, slightly stoopid surpassed my interest thoughts of seeing them.
Great show overall. Slightly Stooped had an amazing saxophone segment during Closer to the Sun, tribute to Tom Petty and a high energy close with Bestie Boys Intergalactic that rocked! Sublime was on spot with also a great performance. The Movement should have been after Atmosphere or not had Atmosphere with a longer segment for The Movement. I'll will be seeing them at their own show in February.
They are a really great bamd that provides an amazing live show to enjoy.
Awesome show. Wanted to see them for a while so when they came to Tampa we jumped at it. Thanks guys
Best show ever $20 for a beer was the worst but the show was great wroth the drive
We had the best time Saturday evening at the Sublime with Rome / Slightly Stoopid concert. The music itself was really loud in our area, but we had a great time. Always fun seeing them perform.
Slightly Stoopid was on fire and they brought Sublime w Rome , Atmosphere and The Movement to make it a blaze
Our group felt as if the entire time we were struggling to figure out what anyone was saying onstage. We had almost no idea what song was playing until the chorus came in for every band that we watched. I do not plan to return to the dailys place for concerts, it is unfortunate but we all still had a good time.
The venue, Daily's Place was awesome, drinks....well unless you have the funds to pay $12 for single, $22 for double not worth it. The show itself was Too of the World for sure!!
Great experience. Sublime with Rome never dissapoint!!
The show was great, but wow I’ve never spent $27 on a “premium” double cocktail before. Not even at Miami music week events which are notorious for price gouging.
First time seeing Sublime with Rome and Slightly Stoopid. Sublime’s set was much better, mainly because I could understand what the vocals were saying. Slightly Stoopid’s mix was horrendous. Vocals sounded like a gargled mess. Truly, I couldn’t understand anything the singers were saying, and I don’t think a lot of people could. The mix was so bad, half the crowd just couldn’t get into it, and the energy wasn’t flowing right….It was a bummer, as I love SS music. Wish it was a one off, but looking at these reviews, it sounds like they need a new sound person.
I’ve seen Slightly Stoopid every summer when the come here but this was the worst one I’ve ever seen. It’s a different venue than they normally play so maybe that was the problem but the sound quality was awful. I couldn’t understand a single word they said the entire show. Really disappointing because we look forward to seeing them every year
Really great show. We were mainly there for sublime but had so much fun and loved the dog
This was a great show and one of the best places to see live bands by far!! All the bands were great but Sublime stole the show! Everyone knew every song.
When we heard the sound of the first act we and most everyone else made our way to our seats... By the second song they had cleared out the amphitheatre... We all went for a beer, as the leader of atmosphere quipped I guess I'll play to my 12 fans, referring to a small group of die hard fans down in front. So even though we were slightly soured by the first act we still had high hopes for the night. "Sublime"came out. (I think the bass player?) Sounded like a cover band and the lead man stumbled over his role, and it came off poorly. Still we hung in there and as a cover band they weren't bad, just not sublime. Slightly Stoopid performed admirably given they started with a cold crowd, but still had a hard time getting the crowd back into the show.
That was an OP show great really Op. I cannot explain how OP that show was.
