SCORPIONS IN CONCERT:
German band Scorpions has been electrifying audiences since the early '70s with their signature hard-rocking melodic metal and power ballads. With the 2010 release of their 17th studio album Sting in the Tail, the band proved that age had far but mellowed them, kicking off another high-energy tour that has fans eagerly awaiting the chance to see them in 2014.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Scorpions are one of the most successful European bands in music history, having sold over 100 million albums worldwide. Formed in 1969, their early hard rock albums gained attention in Europe and Japan, but it wasn’t until they dropped more radio-friendly albums like 1982's Blackout and 1984's Love At First Sting that they found international fame. Over the years the band has developed a reputation for being an outstanding live act, with Klaus Meine delivering some of the most pitch-perfect live vocals in the history of rock.

by MACE on 4/29/24Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood - Las VegasDidn't know what to expect, but I had promised my son years ago that if the Scorpions ever came to our town (Philadelphia) I would take him, after years of missing tour announcements, scheduling conflicts, ... I found out they were doing a residency in Vegas, at great expense, I booked us a trip to see them in planet Hollywood , hearing of health issues and that fact that they are getting up there in age I wasn't sure what to expect, WOW ! they were AWESOME, an experience I will never forget, they sounded, played, and sang their butts off!!! I spent thousands of dollars on this trip and I feel like I got a bargain ! loved it, if you can , don't miss them, great concert

Impressed by the performance of these musicians who are no longer young :-) but above all impressed and moved by the singer's determination to give everything he had despite some health problems. He wins my admiration for this generosity! Gratitude to still have the chance to see such a high quality show from a group that has been going strong for decades!!!
