SCORPIONS IN CONCERT:
German band Scorpions has been electrifying audiences since the early '70s with their signature hard-rocking melodic metal and power ballads. With the 2010 release of their 17th studio album Sting in the Tail, the band proved that age had far but mellowed them, kicking off another high-energy tour that has fans eagerly awaiting the chance to see them in 2014.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Scorpions are one of the most successful European bands in music history, having sold over 100 million albums worldwide. Formed in 1969, their early hard rock albums gained attention in Europe and Japan, but it wasn’t until they dropped more radio-friendly albums like 1982's Blackout and 1984's Love At First Sting that they found international fame. Over the years the band has developed a reputation for being an outstanding live act, with Klaus Meine delivering some of the most pitch-perfect live vocals in the history of rock.

by kedgman on 5/6/24Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood - Las Vegasive seen the scorpions probably 20 times, this one was far and away their best show ever..played a couple songs that normally dont get played live...sounded absolutely amazing, spot on lyrics, music, energy...all with a bunch of guys that are average age of 71 (take that milllenials)....best road trip concert ive ever been on, well worth the time and money to get there. Thank you for an amazing show, made my weekend incredible.

He ended up coming out to perform a Motorhead song with the back up band, Ugly Kid Joe, which I thought was fantastic! Keep up the great performances guys!!

Klause visibly looked like he was in pain and stiff, but his voice Is still so powerful. He took a lot of breaks. To be expected I guess. The others were rocking Hard! Still Awesome. The drummer? WOW! we had a good time.

This show was different. Guitars and drums were outstanding. Vocals were not up to par, seem tired. I'm a huge fan and would like to see them go out on top.

I will say, the band totally exceeded my expectations! They sounded great and had a great energy and vibe!

We know they are getting old, so of course they aren't the Scorpions of their 30's but for being in their 70's they are still relevant and definitely worth seeing!!

I've seen the Scorpions many times time over the years but this was the smallest venue ever. We had great seats enjoyed every minute of the show. I highly recommend to any Scorpions fans to go see in Las Vegas.

I have seen them 22 times and I am only sorry that we are all getting older and that one day it will probably end. They are the soundtrack of my grown up life.
