About

Pearl Jam is an alternative rock band formed in Seattle, Washington in 1990. The band's lineup consists of bassist Jeff Ament, rhythm guitarist Stone Gossard, lead guitarist Mike McCready, lead singer/guitarist Eddie Vedder and drummer Matt Cameron. Thirty-plus years of live performances, twelve studio albums and hundreds of official live concert bootleg releases later, Pearl Jam continues to be critically acclaimed and commercially successful. The band has sold over 85 million albums worldwide and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017. Pearl Jam's new album, Dark Matter, is out April 19, 2024. Since the earliest days, Pearl Jam has used its platform to elevate people and causes that often go unnoticed or underserved. Much of the band’s philanthropic work is accomplished through its Vitalogy Foundation which to date has raised more than $50 million for organizations supporting issues such as abortion access, climate change and homelessness, and drawing attention to the fight against diseases such as Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis and epidermolysis bullosa (EB). In addition to the money Vitalogy donates, the band also donates signed instruments, posters and merchandise to organizations to use for their own fundraising purposes. Compounding the impact of Vitalogy Foundation, the band has supported Jeff Ament’s Montana Pool Service in building skate parks in Montana and South Dakota. Pearl Jam also lends its voice to notable causes like the West Memphis 3, voting rights and fair ticketing practices. Over the past three decades, the band has a long history of standing up for what it believes in and putting its resources behind those beliefs. Through its innovative Ten Club and fan engagement, community building, coveted poster designs, and longstanding activism and philanthropy, Pearl Jam continues to have a lasting impact on generations of music lovers.

Never miss a chance to see Pearl Jam perform live. I’ve traveled across the USto see them perform for nearly 30 years now and I was so pleased to finally see them performing in Seattle. It was incredible. PS I currently live in ATL.

Good show, too many Dark Matter songs...

by Mojo on 5/31/24Climate Pledge Arena - Seattle

Good show and venue. My ears wanted to hear more greatest hits. Dark Matter is a really good album, but over 30% of the show was new DM songs. Too many in my opinion.

    Great music, terrible sightlines

by LS on 5/31/24Climate Pledge Arena - Seattle

We had seats on the floor next to the AV equipment. The stage was so low that we couldn’t see the band. There was no catwalk so they never got closer to us. Plus, they put graphics on the big screens and did not show the band very much so it was very disappointing overall. We could see some of the show on the small screens that the AV team was using but that’s about all. We paid $550/ticket which is an awful lot to not be able to see the band. Btw, I’m 5’10” - not short.

    Pearl Jam Vegas Night 2

by Pearl Jam Has Been Better on 5/29/24MGM Grand Garden Arena - Las Vegas

Been to Pearl Jam 4 or 5 times over past 15 years and a fan since age 11. Just seemed the acoustics or sound wasn’t the best especially for $185/ticket in the upper section. Eddie said early on in the show his voice wasn’t 100% but vocals were difficult to make out and guitars were overly scretchy. Plus the band played more deep cuts and new album tracks than hits. Just hoping for more especially when having to travel out of state due to no AZ shows.

    Great Sound but Bad Lighting

by Lizannestarr on 5/28/24Kia Forum - Inglewood

First time seeing Pearl Jam live since the ‘90’s. They still sound incredible! Unfortunately the lighting used for both the opening band and Pearl Jam was so blinding that it was a major distraction and we were unable to see much of the bands. The extreme bright lights prevented a perfect night of music. While I may see Pearl Jam again, I will do it at an outdoor venue if possible to avoid the harsh lighting hopefully.

    True PJ Fans

by ‘90s Lover on 5/28/24Kia Forum - Inglewood

Everyone got up when the band appeared on the stage. And most of the people remained standing throughout the whole 2 1/2-hour concert. So many of them are true fans including myself — 30 something years didn’t change us much at all. We are still thrilled and crazy about Pearl Jam.

    RAD

by Beth Bowie on 5/28/24Kia Forum - Inglewood

Eddie Vedder still sounds the exact same!!! We must protect this man at all costs. Pearl Jam’s performance created the same energy from the 90s with huge swaths of the crowd singing and fist pumping in sync. It was an incredible experience and I’m so glad I got to go. 11/10 performance.

    Always Amazing

by PJ Soundtrack for Life on 5/27/24Kia Forum - Inglewood

Pearl Jam never fails to kick ass. The new album is great and live the songs are amazing. They just some to life in a way I had not heard before. The older songs continue to rock. With the new visualizations and full stadium projection screens I could see PJ making a run for the Sphere in Vegas.

Epic concert.. the Kia not so much

by Luis on 5/26/24Kia Forum - Inglewood

The concert and service were great… but my seat was horrible… first of all you should put that it is restricted view and RESTRICTED SOUND! You couldn’t hear the music good as in other seats… because of the roof, also you have some lights disturbing you that you didn’t turned them off… you should improve that, by warning us that it is a real bad place to purchase

    My venue experience

    by Tap33 on 5/25/24Kia Forum - Inglewood

In my recent experience going to this venue and having gone to prior events here, it's definitely gotten better. What I mean is getting there & parking. It always helps to take alternate streets. Since parking at this venue or anywhere in close proximity is over priced, it definitely helps to shop around in advance. You will have to walk a bit more, but you can use the extra cash saved and get a shirt from an outside vendor, or if your in a rush and not about to stop somewhere to eat in advance there's vendors selling drinks and beverages. Without the inflated inside prices! Because the day of your event if your relying on finding parking easily, sure you might. But at a RIDICULOUS cost. Once inside the arena you can be guaranteed great sound and decent views of your performer even in the higher up seats. The forum in my opinion should offer a drink coupon or something for their advanced over priced parking. Because $23 for a tall boy is just absurd!

    Pearl Jam

by Tiny on 5/25/24Kia Forum - Inglewood

The concert was said to start at 7:30 but got there. It didn't start till 850. Didn't mind the wait time and buying the tickets it would be nice if it was described so you're not rushing to get in by 7:30 and then wait for two hours before concert actually starts, disappointing my second concert I have been to !
