MercyMe has been releasing hits in the Christian rock genre since 2001, when "I Can Only Imagine" caught the attention of the public and became the most requested song on a mainstream station in Texas. Despite the band's success on conventional radio stations, the majority of ticket buyers expect MercyMe's concert tours to be religion oriented, and they are not disappointed. Fans who attended the Rock & Worship Roadshow in 2013 described the tour as uplifting and filled with spiritual hits that included "Word of God Speak,” “All of Creation” and "You Don’t Care At All." The latter song is from the 2012 album The Hurt & the Healer, which reached No. 1 on the Christian Albums Billboard chart.
Millard formed MercyMe with Jim Bryson and Mike Scheuchzer in Oklahoma, and after releasing independently, MercyMe signed with INO Records in 2001. Their first album earned the 2x Platinum certification from the RIAA after "I Can Only Imagine" won two Dove Awards. On 2002's Spoken For, which peaked at No. 2 on the Christian Albums chart, the title track was the most successful. 2004's Undone brought with it hits like "Here with Me," "Homesick" and "In the Blink of an Eye." 2006's Coming Up to Breathe was nominated for a Grammy, due to hit singles like "Bring the Rain," "So Long Self" and "Hold Fast." All That Is Within Me was released in 2007, with "God With Us" reaching No. 1 on the Christian Songs Billboard chart. 2010 saw the release of The Generous Mr. Lovewell, while 2012's The Hurt & The Healer featured "You Are I Am" and the title track as the most popular songs. MercyMe has plans to continue its tour for The Hurt & the Healer album in 2014.

What a shame looking forward to a great sounding concert and time to worship, the bands and mercy me played there hearts out unfortunately the sound man ruined what would have been a great concert. Volume was way to loud to the point the music sounded like a jumbled up squall of distortion , no separation of instruments drums and bass were over mixed and vocals were completely marred lyrics were not recognizable. The decimeter app on my phone was showing peaks in excess of 104 db.setting in section 124 Greensboro has great acoustics I have heard great sound there for over 45 years. But not this time.
The concert was amazing! I paid to sit on the floor because I can’t sit in the stands. I have bad knees. However, the chairs on the floor were so close together I was squished. The parking price of $25 was ridiculous as well.
What a joy to be able to attend our first MercyMe concert. It was uplifting and refreshing . The band was awesome and Bart sounded amazing. He has such a beautiful voice. Their songs are so inspiring and it was a blessing to see them perform in person. Love love MercyMe!
Everything was super easy. From purchasing the tickets to leaving the venue!! The bands were amazing. The light show and sound was right on point. How a wonderful time. Still talking about it to friends and family!
Great message, great music! Had a very enjoyable time. Will definitely go see them again!
The overall experience for the Mercy Me,NewsBoys and David Leonard concert was awesome. The attention I received from the event staff was very helpful. My only suggestion would be to check the sound board. The first 2 acts David Leonard and NewBoys were extremely loud and quite difficult to make out what was actually being sung. Having the words on the various screens was a big help, but it just seemed like they were screaming the lyrics. MeryMe's volume was at a much more acceptable level. I have always enjoyed the numerous concerts I have attended at George Mason over the past 35+ years.
MercyMe and Newsboys were the best. the light show was awesome
My family and I had a great time! Awesome show. The lights and sound were amazing inside the arena. Thanks for a great night.
WOW is all I can say!! The spirit of the Lord was present in that place!! All the performers were amazing!! Praising God for the opportunity to worship Him through all that were there!!
Mercy Me and Newsboys never fail to bring honor and Glory to our Lord. Hard to believe when Bart said he had been performing 30 years now that it has been that long. What a testimony and Newsboys as well. Saw them years ago when they were at Kings Dominion.
It was the BEST! Fantastic and magnificent! The ending was Amazing!
This concert was amazing!! Well worth the cost of the ticket!!
Mercy Me, Newsboys and David Leonard put on an awesome concert experience. From their music, message and charitable endeavors, it was an all encompassing event! Highly recommend
This was an AWESOME concert featuring David Lenoard, Newsboys, and Mercy Me! They were all engaging and entertaining and truly Christians.
Mercy Me didn't disappoint. The concert was awesome.

Always a pleasure to see MercyMe, and the floor seats are the best!

The concert was awesome. My eyes got leaky 3 separate times. Too happy I guess.
