About

Croatian born Maksim Mrvica started to play piano when he was nine years of age and held his first concert by age eleven. Despite living through harsh wartime conditions in Croatia, he continued with his music and later won first prize at the Rubinstein Piano Competition in Paris.

Today, Maksim is the world’s biggest selling crossover pianist having sold over 4 million copies of his albums throughout 57 countries. He has won numerous awards including the MTV music award for the best debutant of the year in Asia.

A ground-breaking pianist and all round performer, Maksim’s live performance showcases classical music re-imagined with electronic elements, combining strong personal style and his rock star charisma. All of which are presented in his most popular pieces Claudine and Croatian Rhapsody (to be performed on the night). Don't miss out on a night of wonder and an all round show stopping performance.

Presented by Castiglione Arts & Culture.

    Unbelievable!

by 纽约吃货贝拉老师 on 5/30/23United Palace - New York

I have been a huge fan of Maksim since I was little. I actually heard of his name when I was in China. This live is beyond heaven. I was exhilarated from beginning to end. He is incredibly skillful that you can’t even keep track of his finger movements with your eyes! Also being so handsome is a plus!

    Poor acoustics

by BC on 5/30/23United Palace - New York

Poor acoustics and noticeable lagging in video projection of the performance. Sometime I can barely hearing the piano music which is the main performing sound.

    Still in awe

by Dan K on 5/28/23Arie Crown Theater - Chicago

I am still in awe of his incredible talent. I’m still hyping the show to my friends days afterwards. The venue itself (Arie Crown) is a bit difficult to find and hard to get to (especially by Ride Share) but the show was worth the trek. I wish the audience were more “into it” as it seemed they treated it more like a reserved piano recital than an exciting concert helmed by a virtuoso. Will see him again for sure if he returns to Chicago.
