Jerry Seinfeld got his start in 1976 at a local open mic night in New York City, but it wasn't until several early-'80s appearances on the Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson that he reached mainstream recognition. As creator and co-writer of Emmy Award-winning sitcom Seinfeld, he appeared in every episode of the show's nine-season span. Since his days on the show, Seinfeld has launched his own web series titled Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, and put his comedy in writing with the 1993 book Seinlanguage. With more than two decade of stand-up gigs under his belt, Jerry Seinfeld will have fans falling out of their seats in hysterics on his 2014 comedy tour.

Jerry Seinfeld was fabulous. He kept me laughing all the way through the event. The only drawback were the few chuckle heads who tried to interrupt the show. Jerry handle the disruptions with grace. He is a class act.
It was terrible. Protesters kept interrupting Jerry. By the time they escorted the protester out, 10 minutes later another one would start screaming and have to get taken out. This happened 6 different times. This made it hard to hear Jerry and was not enjoyable. Waste of money, waste of time, waste of a good date night.
Mario Joyner and Jerry Seinfeld were amazing. They gave their best performances and the audience was THERE FOR IT! I appreciate them not wanting to lock up phones and welcomed the crowd to take photos if they want, but also talked about experiencing life without your phones in front of your face! The surprise marriage proposal (could have been set up?) topped off a great night. I will go again if he comes back to Norfolk!
It was great to see him in person. He is truly funny, well, remaining clean, and polite. There were a couple of disruptive folks, but handled them with patience and magnanimity, as you would hope. He’s the best and getting to see him in person was a rare treat. Totally worth it!
After years of watching Seinfeld on TV and recently re-watching it with my teenage children, it was an exciting treat to see him in person! The show was great, the jokes were hilarious. Thanks!
Overall, the show was great. But for a Seinfeld show, it seems his material is slowly becoming an angry old man’s view of life. Let’s hope he gets back to his original positive funny material. Also, there seemed to be too much audience unwanted participation.
The lines to get in were long but worth it. The opening act was great, and Jerry was excellent! We laughed through the entire performance. Very funny. Our balcony seats were great!
It’s been a dream of mine to see a Jerry Seinfeld comedic performance! Loved and laughed every moment! And there was a wedding proposal at the end in the audience! Just a superb evening out! Venue was perfect too!

I love Jerry Seinfeld but man this was lame, tired, Jim Gaffigan, being a husband and dad humor. Saw him 20 years ago and was sore the next day from laughing. Not anymore.

High energy, funny show. Opener for a little less than 30 minutes. Jerry was on about an hour. He was funny just as expected.
This is a difficult one to rate. Unequivocally I give Jerry 5 stars! However, the Place Theatre where the venue was is AWFUL! People were pouring into the show 45 minutes late for the 9:30 show. It was so annoying, as they didn't know where their seats were, thus hanging out in the aisle shining their flashlights everywhere. I will NEVER return unless I spend money for the front row. And a couple of people came in quite late there also. Jerry just gave a "right this way"motion with his arm and continued his schtick. There should be a no-entrance policy after the performance has begun.
We were slightly disappointed that Jerry’s become a crotchety old man, but maybe he would have had a better attitude if everyone had gotten to their seats in a reasonable time! People were CONSTANTLY streaming in, all through the show, phone flashlights on, searching for their row/seat no. (which are on the bottom of the first seat in each row) - talking loudly—very distracting. At most venues we’ve been to, once they flash the lights, you get to your seats or you have to wait! Jerry even commented on the latecomers! Or, maybe Jerry was hot, because it was so very stuffy in the theatre! Not a good experience.
Well first of all I had a terrible experience so because I originally ordered time slot of the 1900 hours show but was slotted for 2130 show and did not know this after I arrived at 1900. And had to wait another close to three hours for the 2130 show. Plus, the amount of money I spent on seats that weee close to 700 dollars I selected was not what I originally order and paid for so I got bamboozled on that. My seats were supposed to be front row but were close to the rear which totally pissed me off. Other than the venue was nice Feel like I was taken advantage of.
His performance is amazing ! Nonstop laughs!! He is still at the top of his game! Everyone wants to see Seinfeld in action Thanks Jerry for a great show!!
