Jack Johnson Tickets

Gave a 4 because the VIP area was not as expected. It was to the side and behind the stage, so we couldn't hear the support act ! They had big screens which would have been awesome if the were showing the concert, but...they had a baseball game on?!? The food and the bar service were great ! I won't get the VIP next time I go to this venue.

He always puts on a great show. Having all his guests was amazing to listen too. Outside with the moon shining was perfect. Great show

Jack Johnson puts on the greatest show! He is one of the most amazing storytellers with his music!

My mom and I enjoyed our evening of excellent music. We used the VIP parking which made getting in and out very easy. Our seats were great, we could see the performance well. Even the restrooms were easy to navigate and the line wasn’t too bad.

Loved the actual concert, getting into the venue was ridiculous. Took after an hour to move a few city blocks for parking. The people responsible for directing traffic seemed to have no idea what they were doing. I would see Jack again but won’t do a concert at this venue again.

This show was excellent and the musicians from all three bands were outstanding. The primary complaint that I had was that Jack Johnson didn’t come on stage until almost 9pm. This is really late considering many people came after work on Friday and have a long commute home after the show. For that reason many people left before it ended. Please move the show time up an 60-90 minutes.

We loved the venue! Seats were great! Lines for vendors were not bad. Staff was helpful. The line to get into parking was long. Getting out after concert was chaos and slow. Other venues do a better job dealing with traffic. Jack Johnson was fantastic! We’ve been waiting to see him for years and he did not disappoint!

This concert was fine, but definitely not one where the artist connects with the crowd or builds excitement. He played flawlessly.

Inside venue is good. Getting in and out id terrible.

So many great tunes! Each one effortlessly rolling into the next. I love how Jack also throws in little classic rock cameos. The tickets were super affordable too.

Ben Harper opened and was great, so unfortunate the venue doesnt have the sound as good quality for the openers as the main event. It really doesnt do any justice for all the heart and soul Ben was putting into his jams on the slide guitar. Lawn had no walking room it was so packed when Jack went on. Our blankets got trampled and people were slipping and tripping on them trying to get thru as the lawn was completely used up by people. I didnt know that many people could be there and it was a bit of a bummer. Jack was great tho and it was a fun first concert for my 9 year old daughter.

Jack Johnson was amazing as usual. But the amphitheater in Chula Vista was the worst venue I’ve ever been to in my life. It took over 1.5 hours to get from the Main Street to the parking lot because of traffic on a one lane road. The parking attendants had no clue what they were doing. They also made you check in bags and pay 5 dollars to do so for the smallest bags, and they couldn’t even find my bag for 20 minutes. I would never go to this venue again.

This concert was excellent! Jack’s music and easy going style is a pleasure😊

Jack Johnson is and always will be an incredible performer, with his melodic voice, soothing guitar melodies, and variety of talented musicians who collaborate with him on stage. Now for the venue: it took us over an hour to travel the 1 mile section that leads into the parking lot. Three main roads converged into one, right at the entrance of the parking lot. There was no signage to direct us into a particular lot, and the parking employees didn’t have radios, so there was no communication and it showed. We missed the entire opening performance. By the time we got there, many of the vendors had sold out of beer and wine! Thankfully, we didn’t miss Jack’s performance, but we did leave early in order to avoid the sh** show that was the parking situation. I will totally see Jack Johnson again, but I will never see a concert at the Chula Vista amphitheater again. You deserve better, Jack!

The show from start to finish was awesome! We were excited about an earlier start time. The sound was great and enjoyed the stories he told about some of the songs. We left at the end got to our car and sat… for over about an hour and half before we could even start moving. This venue needs an updated exit plan because this does not work.

Best concert we have been to ever. The vibe was so chill. The crowd was great. It was an amazing show.

I enjoyed the open air experience; however that gave room for the smell of weed and there were kids around. Also, theres quite traffic to exit the premises.

The entire show was fantastic. The vibe, the mellow, the music, even the drinks were not bad. We have been to many shows at this venue and it is the absolute worst place to get out of. We will likely not go back to North Island ever again. When it takes an hour just to get out of the parking lot and there is no traffic control going on after the place has been there for 25 years. No thank, I'll fly to Honolulu and go to the Kokua festival instead.

Ben Harper Jack Johnson always deliver an amazing live experience - good vibes, amazing band and guests. I love this venue, especially on a clear, full moon night, but getting there and leaving afterward really blows!! It’s the only reason I don’t go back as often. It needs to improve the road structural scheme and all will be worth it!

Performance was amazing. Actual venue was really cool but definitely oversold. Traffic to get into the venue? Never worth it. Took us three + hours to get in from 40 mins away. Wasn’t prepped for a road trip. Such a bummer because it’s a cool venue but we’ll never go back because of that.
