    fantastic show

    The Libbey is a fantastic venue, ive only seen a cpl of shows here but they have all been excellent it has fast become one of my favorite live venues. The Brothers G. were a perfect fit for this chill Ojai scene cpl of points on the Libbey: All shows start at 7 pm but WEEKDAY shows apparently all end at 8:45 +- so normally no opener, and they start ON TIME. and the venue is basically done by 9 pm WEEKEND shows ( Fri/ Sat) can run to 9:45 the venue is done by 10 pm so weekend shows will usually have an opener. The brothers played a nice litle encore and brought out a special guest: Jack Johnson came out with them when they came back and played 3 more songs before wrapping it up. Really great beautiful perfect warm night in Ojai.

    Such a great show! These men are so talented and inspiring. Guest appearance of Jack Johnson was super fun and the hint of future studio collaboration between these artists made for insider information. Love it ;-)

    Channel 24 new venue for Sacto- excellent in every way. Hermanos Guttierez brings out the best in everyone . . . no one yakking while they cast their hypnotic spell of mesmerizing propulsive reverb magic. Do not miss them however you can get to one of their shows. Thank you audience for being so beautiful!

    New-Venue Smell

    Hermanos Gutierrez put on a beautiful, hypnotic, & heartfelt show. They shared stories, painted sonic landscapes, & absolutely nailed their set. Opener (Adrian Quesada Trio) was also rad - still mostly instrumental, but extremely upbeat & Latin-jazzy almost. The new venue stills smells brand new (not like some places that have that “we don’t clean our taps” odor) & the vibe was incredibly stress-free. Staff, entry, exit, & were extremely efficient with very organized, smooth flow. Only complaint is pricing of drinks at Channel 24 - take a note of pricing at the Sofia Theatre on Capitol.

    IA very memorable evening! First time seeing them live and it was so much better than expected. We were able to snag a space right at front of the stage so it was a great viewpoint. Being in the place where this music was inspired was quite a moving experience for my wife and me!
