Thanks for the aloha on the 9th island!

by Jude on 2/27/23Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas - Las Vegas

Lovely evening of music! Our least fav thing was the 30+ minute intermission between Paula and Jack. We think the bank was either still hungover or they were just chillin' and smoking pot while the audience waited. We think 15-20 minute intermission is plenty. Our FAV part was when Jack sang solo and took requests. That was more island style and less Vegas style. Also, we live in Vegas, so we are at the Encore Theatre fairly often. The eco-friendly merchandise glasses were a nice souvenir option. That theatre should have been built with cup holders.

    Super fun

by J radd on 2/27/23Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas - Las Vegas

It was a great show. It’s fun to hear his storytelling and what was going on in his life when he wrote some of his songs. My wife wasn’t a huge fan but had a blast and is now wanting to see him again.

    Amazing!

by CJ on 10/23/22Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek - Raleigh

Best concert yet! Jack Johnson was incredible, as was Ziggy Marley. The whole event went smoothly from the time we parked, to getting to our seats, to leaving. The staff at Walnut Creek did an excellent job organizing the event which made it that much better.

    Worst venue for parking EVER!

by JeffW on 10/15/22North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre - Chula Vista

Tickets said show at 7:30, we arrived at 7:15 and the first act was done, Ben Harper over 1/2 done. The parking at the venue was horrible and us along with thousand of others were funneled to just two entrances...it took over an hour to get in! The show was pretty good, but having seen him multiple times since the early 2000's, this was probably the worst. He spent more time allowing the others to take front and center stage, playing his songs for him, and seemed really tired in general, especially towards the end of the night. We sat in our car for over an hour after the show before cars could even begin to leave. We always love seeing him, but the overall experience wasn't worth it.

    I Loved it!

by Karla AE on 10/12/22North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre - Chula Vista

It was just perfect. Guest musicians were good. They didn’t make us wait to enjoy the music including the main performance. So happy we had the chance to enjoy almost 2 hour of Jack Johnson. It was my 5th JJ concert and maybe the one I had enjoyed the most. Can’t wait for the next one

Worst venue in all of CA. This marks my last concert there!

by LoLo on 10/11/22North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre - Chula Vista

Getting in and parking was the worst as usual! This was my last concert here ever, ever! I swear. If I ever decide to buy a ticket, friends have been instructed to retrain me. No artist is “must see” enough to ever come back. Do the artist ms just not care? Please for larger venues there are other options- Petco, Sports Arena, SDSU stadium for large venues!

Great show but traffic nightmare entering

by BT on 10/11/22North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre - Chula Vista

Missed almost all of the opening act due to the massive traffic. The city of Chula Vista needs to do a better job with traffic control, perhaps stationing persons to manually wave people in because the lights are operated in standard fashion and not anticipating the high volume of vehicles.

Incredible Performances; Bad Mannered Audience Members

by Ree on 10/11/22North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre - Chula Vista

So much talent in one night! It was my first time hearing both Paula Fuga and Ron & Thunderstorm Artis live. And boy were they a treat to hear. Ben Harper and his band were so full of passion and played a great set. Jack Johnson was as smooth, entertaining, and enjoyable as always. Truly loved all the duets and ensemble performances he did with everyone, especially "Better Together" with the entire group! The amphitheater was an outdoor, well maintained venue and we were lucky to have a gorgeous evening with perfect weather! I was pretty disappointed to find some really rude, oblivious "grownups" seated around us though. There were four women who behaved as though they were at an office lunch, chatting and gossiping loudly non-stop over every single song. Not sure why they didn't just hit an Applebee's instead of a concert where other people paid to listen to the talented artists and not their co-worker gripes. A women in front of them finally turned around and told them to zip it. Then we had the very drunk, very obnoxious group of four moms and dads behind us who seemed to be trying to out drink - and out yell - each other. Thank God they left after only a couple of songs. I know rudeness seems to be at an all time high in our society, but I was still surprised at such self-centered, juvenile behavior, especially at a concert wherein so much of the music speaks about peace and treating others with kindness.

    Concert was great

by A. W. on 10/10/22North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre - Chula Vista

The show was INCREDIBLE! The parking was a complete nightmare though. They don’t seem to have that part figured out at this venue. So if you’re planning on seeing a show here get there EARLY!!!!

    One memorable night

by Ivy on 10/10/22North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre - Chula Vista

The show was fantastic. My husband and I enjoyed the venue, the artists, and Jack Johnson was more than incredible!!! His band and guests were outstanding. The evening was so pleasant. We didn't stop dance one bit! Parking and traffic direction during the time of event CAN get an overhaul. The directions to parking and the workers who were directing need more organization. I had been to much heavier attendees than this venue without any problems getting into/exiting the venue after the show.

5 star music 0 star venue

by B on 10/10/22North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre - Chula Vista

Not sure if this is really the place to write this, as the actual performance was great. The venue however was not. The parking situation was absolutely horrible, took 20 minutes to park after getting there and then had to walk over .5 miles to get to the entrance. Way too many people on the lawn it was impossible to get a place to put blankets down. Drinks and food were insanely overpriced (expected for a concert) but we’re awful. The worst part was getting out. We left towards the end of Jacks set to try to escape some of the traffic but there was no one directing parking so we ended up following other cars in the lot and waited a long time to exit, just to have someone 20 minutes later close up the gate we were trying to exit. Will never go to another show here again

by Roxie on 10/10/22North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre - Chula Vista

The show was amazing. Beautiful venue. Getting out of the parking lot was horrible though. We Couldn’t get out go there parking lot for over an hour. We just sat in the car waiting to move. They need a need a better system to organize traffic flow.

    Always a good show

by Felicia on 10/10/22North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre - Chula Vista

I’ve seen Jack Johnson a few times and this was probably his best show. He’s so engaging with the crowd and his opening acts always end up joining him on stage. It’s was last night of tour so you could tell he was enjoying the night with his friends and family.

    Just an awesome show.

by Kevin from AZ on 10/10/22North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre - Chula Vista

Got in introduced to the Artis brothers, Ron and Thunderstorm, an up and coming band from Hawaii, soon to be seen again on a stage near you. They were phenomenal. Then Ben Harper came out and tore it up, as only he can. Feisty! Jack Johnson took the stage and proceded to blow the crowd away, from a party up at the house to a campfire on the beach then back to the backyard to jam with Ben Harper, the Artis brothers, and Paula Fugo for the icing on the cake. This was the last show of the tour and it showed. The bands were loose and you could feel everyone on that stage was having a great time with a group of friends that they loved.
