ICE NINE KILLS IN CONCERT:
Metalcore quintet Ice Nine Kills offers fans a gripping and visceral concert experience that combines heavy rhythms, fiery riffs, and catchy hooks. Singer Spencer Charnas vacillates between guttural screams and soaring melodies as he encourages fans to sing along. The rhythm section doles out beat after pummeling beat of non-stop aggressive fury while guitarist Justin deBlieck delivers face-melting riffs and solos. With song titles like “The Coffin Is Moving” and “Let’s Bury the Hatchet… In Your Skull”, the band reliably delivers a hardcore experience that pulls no punches. Ice Nine Kills is sure to bring their mayhem to the masses in 2015 as their IX Lives Tour hits select North American cities.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
The original incarnation of Ice Nine Kills formed in Boston, MA in 2006 and released their independent debut Last Chance to Make Amends that same year. When several original members quit the lineup, lead singer Spencer Charnas recruited musicians from the recently disbanded post-hardcore group Remember Tomorrow. The new roster got right to work, quickly blostering their growing fan base with a successful run on the 2009 Vans Warped Tour. The group released Safe Is Just a Shadow in 2010 and continued to amass new fans with their fresh, provocative sound. They then earned an opening spot on the 2012 All Stars Tour alongside bands like Suicide Silence, The World Alive, and Dance Gavin Dance. Ice Nine Kill's third album The Predator Becomes the Prey was released in 2014, claiming the top spot on the iTunes Metal Albums chart for the entire first week of its release.

I went to this show for Avatar and In This Moment. My gf went for In This Moment and Ice Nine Kills. New Years Day started the show. Never heard them before, but they were good with a good show to go along with it. Avatar played after them, and put on my favorite bit of the show. Left me wanting to see a show with them headlining. In This Moment was after Avatar with another amazing set. Smoke and fire blowing everywhere with Maria on a taller stage prop putting the show on. Ice Nine Kills came out last to close the show out. I've only really heard of them and a few of their songs before, but their show was great as well. Lots of energy, props, and stage appearances by 'Georgie,' Scream, Jaws, Hannibal, etc. Definitely worth the trip.
I went to see Avatar again and enjoy watching In This Moment & Ice Nine Kills. It was like going to watch a theatrical musical. Visuals were awesome and so was the sound. I knew of both bands, but I was not familiar with their music. I ended up leaving a fan. New Years Day put on a good show as well
i’ll keep it short and sweet: the show was great! INK know how to slaughter live! would recommend!
This was my first show at the Anthem arena and it was very enjoyable! Easy to get into and out of. Seating was great and the variety of food and beverage counters all over the venue made it very fast, easy and convenient to grab a bite or drink. I will definitely be keeping an eye out for future shows there.
INK, In This Moment, New Years Day, and Avatar put on THE BEST FREAKING SHOW EVER! My second time seeing INK and can’t wait to see them again.
I am never disappointed when I go to an INK show. They are amazing and creative entertainers. I will see them again.
I absolutely fell in love with Ice Nine Kills when I saw them open for Metallica back in August and seeing them again reaffirmed that love. Incredible energy and absolute one of a kind experience that no one else in metal, let alone the music scene is doing. Highly recommend seeing them any and every time they are in your area.
Best show I’ve ever been to, Ice Nine Kills slayed it, but all the bands were absolutely awesome to see on stage! In This Moment, New Years Day, and Avatar…awesome lineup, awesome show!
Ice Nine Kills was a band I recently discovered, and when I say they sound amazing through Spotify, but even better in Concert, I was blown away. They were hitting notes and doing theatrics that where insane. I will 100% be going to see them again.
I wasnt sure what to expect as this typically not my genre of music. Albeit, I went and had a blast! New Years Day, Avatar, In This Moment and INK all in 5 hrs. The stage sets took a while. But INK was nonstop and kept crowd entertained. "F*&k this shark!"Lol Sitting in balcony was nice to watch crowd surfing, mosh pit and everyone below. The downside was on my row, we had a group of adults who couldnt make their mind up to sit ar walk in front of us every 5-10min. A few folks left half way fed up with having to accomodate those who wanted in and out nonstop. Overall, security and ticket check in was quick, although the line went past 1 parking lot.
All 3 bands leading up to the main event (New Years Day, Avatar and In the Moment) were all amazing bands. Ice Nine Kills was epic and it was an amazing show.
My view was horrible. You could not see the singers faces at all. All that money to only be able to listen to the music. Section 101
4.5 stars! Cannot rate in half stars, or i would have.. The issues are only with the venue/surrounding location. Venue is good. NEEDS smoking area/s. Merch stands took TOO LONG. Parking is NOT clear or easy to pay for. PERFECT "season ender"concert! ITM is one of top 5. I9K has definitely placed in my top 10. Avatar was a pleasant surprise. NYD is also top tier, in is ready for the big time.
I have been a fan for about a year now and finally got to see them in concert. They were amazing, my daughter and I had a blast.
Excellent line up!! Great show and theatrics. Overall great experience!
This venue is incredibly unwelcoming to those with mobility difficulties. When we arrived at our section we found that the accessible seating is only for wheelchair users and a single companion (not indicated on the site when ordering tickets). There were 4 spots and 2 physical seats. However, 4 guests with 3 of us having mobility issues and one companion. The venue does not offer folding seats as every other venue does. One guest sat elsewhere by themselves and the companion stood the entire time. Absurdly, Management advised they cannot provide seats due to liability if someone falls off their chair. Do better at welcoming your guests with disabilities, our money spends like everyone else’s.
This was the best experiences I have had in a long time. I was lucky enough to meet Ice Nine Kills before the show and take some pics with them and had a great time talking with Spencer, they are all really nice people. The show was insane, it was the first time that I got to see the other bands, I loved In this moment. But INK was the reason why I was there. They kill it every time. Definitely going to see them as many times as possible.
Drinks way too expensive, sets way too quick, and getting out of there took over an hour - you guys got to do something about that, please. Other than that, price was very good.
I've never been to a Metal concert. I went with my daughter, a huge fan of INK. I've listened to their music and decided that I really wanted to see them in concert. I was not disappointed. I LOVED the concert!!!! Now, I'm a FAN!
